the possibilities are endless. >> the circle opens everywhere today but is it worth your box office bucks? fox news contributor and founder of nerd tears.com kevin mccarthy is here with his review of the movie. good morning. >> hey. >> hey, good morning. i just saw this film about seven and a half hours ago. i did not screen to critics here in washington, d.c. area. generally when it doesn't screen to critics very bad sign. probably not a great film. going into the movie i'm like how could this possibly be bad. you have great director called the spectacular now. great author greg. great cast tom hanks. wonderful film producer and great concept idea of social media and oversharing and how we are all on the computers and phones all the time. a good idea for a movie that pans out to be very poorly done. i think emma watson, ohio love as an actress was so wooden in this role there was no emoding to it whatsoever. tom hanks is solid at times. the characters in the film are very confused. and the idea this movie tackling social media and oversharing and technology has been done so much better in a show called black mirror which is on netflix right now. there is three seasons of that. i would recommend watching that. i found this film to be frustratingly bad. i thought it was confused at times. it was sloppy. i'm just shocked that this film -- it was shot in 2015. and then it moved to some reshoots in early 2017. there was problems happening within that film making right there. overall i found the film to be very frustrating. it was not worth seeing i gave it 1.5 out of five. considering this cast is amazing, it did not deliver what i wanted. heather: i think they rushed to this movie based on current events. thank you very much, kevin. >> they tackled this before. i mean black mirror is a show on netflix which has been doing this for a long time now. tackling this idea of why we are so fascinating with oversharing ourselves on social media. i feel like it is a good concept to do on screen in the film, the problem is that the leading actress wasn't strong enough to hold the role. also, the cast just really didn't come together as one cast. it really felt like a very rushed and very sloppy film at times. i do think -- listen, there are some great films out right now. i do recommend seeing the fate of the furious. if you haven't seen get out or logan. also la la land came out on blue ray this week. there are great films to see. they tried to keep it from me so i wasn't paid to see it last night. heather: we were just talking about the fate of the furious. did i go to the movie theater to see that one. i did love the rock i was iffy on that one. but la la land amazing. >> i'm a fan of that franchise. i grew up on the fast and furious franchise. i feel like it's been around for 16 years. i love the idea of how absurd these films have come over the years. the rock when he redirects that torpgd with his bear hands one of the craziest things i have ever seen with n. my life that scene was awesome. jackie: all right. well, thanks, kevin we appreciate it. >> thanks. heather: now it's time for the good, the bad and the ugly for you. up first the good. a 14-year-old brain cancer survivor stealing the show at the nfl draft announcing the ravens draft pick. >> with the 16th pick in the 2017 nfl draft, the baltimore ravens select marlin humphrey, defensive back of alabama. heather: great moment. the team first purposing when hes humphrey's name. all of this made possible by the make-a-wish foundation. called 911 hoping for a police dog to come help track down his stolen drugs. >> i need a police dog. >> you did what?
