I served in two embassies overseas, what people are looking for in Foreign Countries when they are talking to their ambassador and secretary of state is they want someone who they know has the ear of the president that that person is coming they are actually speaking for the president , that they have a close relationship. Senator corcoran incredibly impressive senator. He would be a very safe pick. He certainly wouldnt make waves the way rudy or romney may in terms of the threat.
