making its first trip to the international space station. >> the masters has a long awaited champion dustin johnson. ♪ wake me up before you go, go. >> don't leave me hanging like a yo-yo. >> wake me up steve: this is your wake me up before you go go call. it's 6:01 in new york city. thanks for joining us on "fox & friends" for this monday, november 16th. we are already halfway through november of 22020. good morning, everybody, ainsley, brian? ainsley: good morning, steve, good morning, brian. and good morning to everyone at home. we have a lot to get. to say we are going to talk about the violence at the maga rally yesterday to people who were not supportive of the trump folks there with their flag and chanting pro-u.s.a. messages. we are going to talk about the president's plan going forward with his attorneys, brian. brian: we won't see much will biden kamala harris ticket. the vice president is going to dignified transfer call we will see if that's gets underway while the president contests what's going on in the election. can you actually transfer some of the intelligence back and forth on the economy and national security and everything with the coronavirus. meanwhile griff general since is live in washington refusing to concede in the race. griff? >> good morning to you. we will see if the president's twitter account gets as much attention as it did yesterday. when he referred to president-elect biden when he tweeted quote he won and then the president clarified he was absolutely not conceding and he called the election rigged and he vowed the results of the election will be overturned tweeting this: seeing many of the court cases being filed all over the country are not ours but rather those of people who have seen horrible abuses our big cases showing the unconstitutionality of the 2020 election, and the outrage of things that were done to change the outcome will soon be filed. well, the president's attorney rudy giuliani ramped the fight up telling our own maria bartiromo embarrassment that the presidenour own mariabartiromo. watch. >> want to get down to the votes let's just take pennsylvania, we have identified 632,000 illegal votes. 632,000. it's enough to have the president win the state by 300,000, which is actually what he won it by. griff: it will be all eyes on pennsylvania. giuliani says they will be back in court this week. we will see what they bring so far. the president's lawsuits failing to gain much traction there. this as former president obama in a "60 minutes" obama worries our adversaries capitalize on the transition period putting pressure on president trump to concede. >> it is your job to put the country first and think beyond your own ego and your own interests and your own disappointments. my advice to president trump is if you want, at this late stage of the game to be remembered as somebody who put the country first, it's time for you to do the same thing. griff: meanwhile, something to also watch today we will mention, brian, we will see president-elect biden along with vice president-elect harris addressing the economy in wilmington, pool of press, maybe a reporter or two can get a question. we will have to wait to find out, brian, ainsley, steve. steve: we will find fought there there are reports on that list. so the president says they could soon file big cases. unclear what that is. we do know more though about what is going on in pennsylvania. because, as we just heard rude sarudysay the trump campaign drd earlier part of the lawsuit that said 700,000 ballots were processed without observers in the room. and they were upset about that. they dropped that. the new lawsuit, the slimmed down version says the democrats heavy counties violated the law by i.d.ing mail-in ballots before election day that it defects; in other words, there might not have been a signature or they might have been missing the secrecy envelope. that way because they identified it early, the voters could be allowed to come and fix it. unclear how many votes we are talking about right there. nonetheless all playing out and ken starr says 24 is the way ity it should happen, watch. >> our system is designed to check. the lawsuit was filed wednesday in michigan. let's let this process run. the lawsuit filed by the legendary lynwood in georgia. don't mess with lin wood. in the united states we allow the jury to hear all the evidence. and that's what's happening right now. don't rush to judgment. it's important, especially given the fact that so many tens of americans feel right now disenfranchised. let's get the facts in. allow the litigation to run its course just as in bush v. gore it ran for 37 days. steve: ken starr said go ahead and let it run its course yesterday the pennsylvania secretary of state asked the judge to dismiss the case. ainsley: 71 plus million americans voted for donald trump they agree with him i'm sure they say let's the process play itself out and find out the facts. you mentioned signatures. we are going to hear a lot about checking signatures this week. in georgia the democrats sued earlier in the year and therefore there was a consents agreement allowing for two separate verification methods as far as signatures are concerned. if you voted in person which most republicans did. you had to show your i.d. when you voted and you got to vote if your signature in mail until ballots that signature had to use the one used on your ballot. that's a problem accord together trump team. they are saying there is an equal protection constitutional argument. they is saying that is illegal you are not allowed to have go different standards. pennsylvania also the swing states. the law says that partisan observers can watch over the whole process but brian you are not allowed. you have all these trump voters that are upset. they want to make surety process is fair so going forward we can trust the system. brian: ratchetinged it down in pennsylvania so the numbers they are challenging once be enough to overturn the pennsylvania's verdict the president said hey in georgia i'm not looking forward ever the recount. if you are not going to match signatures they will get no change. evidently they have to be done by wednesday. 59 counties done already. it's pretty stunning. i thought one question that scott pelley asked i thought really intriguing to president obama is was you can't say that the president -- guys, you can't say that donald trump got a vote of no confidence. he got 71 million votes and president obama has to say yeah, we are a country that's divided. meanwhile the other thing that's pretty clear. i think that these cities boarded up for one reason, they thought trump could win, would win. if you go into santa monica, california go into manhattan and new york city. go into brooklyn. everything is boarded up. why is that? because if trump won there was going to be a sense that there was going to be the violence that we saw all throughout the spring. it turns out joe biden looks like is he going to win this election unless something changes dramatically those boards and plywood is pretty much a waste of time. because the trump people do not destroy a business because an election doesn't go the way they want. do you know what they did? they got together in washington. someone 3,000 miles away get together care about the president not satisfied with the results. they weren't beating up people. unfortunately, as the sun set, that was the case against these maga and these trump supporters. but it wasn't so much the violence that you saw in front of you. these were punches to the back of the head for supporters from other places. these are people eating and got bottle rockets and other shot at them. just coward do this in order to put this up on social media and look like heroes. meanwhile, the lack of outrage on other outlets is stunning really caught ivanka trump's attention. she tweeted this out the media total silence physical violence being perpetrated against conservatives is shameful and dangerous. just imagine the outrage and indignation if this went the other way. violence iser in the answer and instigators must be condemned and prosecuted. rob weighed in with. these people have been so dehumanized that they become the will violence.
