last time. brian: trailing. if you throw out super tuesday they mislead us in many different directions. ainsley: they didn't know that amy klobuchar and pete buttigieg were going to drop out. brian: absolutely. steve: bernie could really use a boost in michigan tomorrow. and just go back a couple of weeks when james clyburn in south carolina endorsed the guy on the right, joe biden suddenly joe biden seems unstoppable in many ways. well, yesterday, while he was looking, bernie sanders finally got a big endorsement with civil rights icon jesse jackson endorsed bernie sanders because, back in 1988, bernie sanders actually endorsed jesse jackson when he was running against michael d dukakis. ainsley: i was shocked by that. steve: he said i appreciate it. ainsley: i was surprised by that because usually the african-american community is behind joe biden, not bernie sanders. so, because he is so radical and so different than what many of the church teachings teach and that kind of thing. so i was really shocked by that but jesse jackson won michigan back in 1998 when he ran and got bernie's endorsement. steve: let's see if that happens. brian: kamala harris got an endorsement looks like a hostage video joe biden is my guy despite everything i said when i was actually running for president. meanwhile bernie said when asked what happened on super tuesday? what happened to texas, california firewall? here's what he said. >> the establishment put a great deal of pressure on pete buttigieg, on amy klobuchar, who ran really aggressive campaigns. i know both of them, they work really really hard. suddenly before super tuesday they announced their withdraw. had they not withdrawn from the race before super tuesday which is a surprise to a lot of people, i suspect we would have won in minnesota, we would have won in maine, we would have won in massachusetts. the turnout may have been a little bit different. what we're doing in this campaign, chuck, we are taking on not only the entire political establishment, we are taking on the corporate establishment as well. steve: so when he mentioned chuck, is he actually talking to chuck todd or is he referring to chris wallace? brian: one thing about bernie, he gets his names right. no one says he's not sharp. ainsley: he went on to say in that interview he was going to continue to campaign despite the coronavirus. i was reading this weekend the average person who unfortunately is dying from this disease is about 80 years old and they are on the campaign trail, they are shakerring hands in massive rooms with all kinds of people. and sanders is 78, donald trump is 73, and joe biden is 77. brian: if bernie wants to win, he has to do something he wasn't willing to do to hillary clinton. remember i don't care about your damn emails? that was the beginning of the end for him. he has got to point out that joe biden gets small crowds. that joe biden has a nepotism issue between his son, brother and sister. been very subpar on the stump and one thing bernie has he has been bernie on the stump and he gets huge crowds. steve: well, when you listen to what he told chuck todd yesterday, it was the establishment was out to destroy bernie. the establishment doesn't want bernie because bernie has got no coat tails that people can ride back into the u.s. house with or into the congress as well. in the congress, kevin mccarthyy is the ranking republican on that side. and when he looks at well, if it's going to be joe biden, how does he stack up against this president? here's mr. mccarthy. >> remember what they did to bernie sanders four years ago. the night before the convention, the chair of the democratic party had to resign because they found out they were cheating. nancy pelosi, the speaker of the house, held the papers impeachment not to go to the senate so the senators couldn't campaign to give an advantage to joe biden. they got klobuchar to back out and buttigieg to endorse beforehand. but the one thing they have to understand in looking back as a republican, nominating joe biden is the same thing as republicans nominating mitt romney it. may make the establishment feel good, but you have no chance of winning. brian: mitt romney had a shot at winning no question about it. in september he was leading and had a that debate. bernie sanders has -- he has no constituency within -- no track record with success with any of his programs, nothing he says is practical or pwhaufbl. so, in one way i don't blame democrats for taking control they are not cheating. what they said is if we want to win we are a party not a company. we have a best shot with a more traditional candidate. when mayor pete didn't add up and klobuchar had no momentum. they had no choice. steve: when you look at what bernie stands for medicare for all. brian: not practical or affordable. steve: people under 30 he needs the same constituency joe biden has. people in their 60's and '70s and 80's who are completely behind joe biden. you know what people in their 60's and '70s and 80's are already on medicare for all. they have got medicare. they don't like it. so they would refer ultimately what joe biden is selling rather than what bernie is selling. ainsley: biden had a few more gaffes over the weekend he basically endorsed donald trump. donald trump took a clip of that video and reposted it. brian: meanwhile hillary clinton, i know, for some reason these internet companies can't get enough of her. she has a series out now talking about her life, her career and what happened in 2016. and here's a clip. hillary talking about bernie sanders. nobody likes him. >> bernie just drove me crazy. he was in congress for years, years. he had one senator support him. nobody likes him. nobody wants to work with him. he got nothing done. he was a career politician. he did not work until he was like 41 and then he got elected to something? it was all just bologna and i feel so bad, you know, that people got sucked into it. ainsley: not endorsing biden but it looks like she will probably be putting her support behind him. brian: i will endorse bernie if he gets the nomination really with that clip? ainsley: i will support whoever gets the nomination. steve: right. so that was on hulu where it's a four-part series. then on cnn yesterday hillary was talking with sakaria about bernie sanders. key go the distance, here's what she had to say. >> if bernie sanders is the democratic nominee, will you campaign for him? >> i will support of the nominee of the democratic party. >> but will you campaign for him? >> i don't know if he would ask me to campaign for him fareed. because i have no idea what he is thinking about for a general election campaign. as i said many times, i do not think he is our strongest nominee against donald trump. >> is that an endorsement of joe biden? >> i'm not endorsing -- >> there is nobody left. >> i guess that's true. there isn't anybody left. steve: tulsi gabbard. what about tulsi? two delegates? ainsley: she is in the race. brian: she hasn't had a legitimate campaign. you haven't seen her on any shows. i don't know what she is doing. idaho is basically a dead heat. missouri is joe biden, up big. mississippi up big. washington is a tie. nothing on north dakota that we can see. michigan joe biden has a slight lead over sanders. anything can happen. it's hard to imagine bernie sanders being viable if he can't take a great portion of the delegates from michigan. but sunday's debate will be fascinating because joe biden does not have stamina. bernie sanders and joe biden debating with nobody in between except moderators, that could be the great equalizer if sanders can stay viable. ainsley: working hard to get michigan. he and bernie sanders were in grand rapids yesterday. he had a rally in detroit. tonight he is going to have a town hall at 6:30 p.m. you can watch that here. steve: i believe that also is in michigan because bernie is going to put all his marbles in michigan. if he gets it, he is going to get it. if he doesn't win, he is still in it to win it as they say. steve: meanwhile, there is some other big news and this is a fox news alert. you know that cruise ship that had been floating off the coast of california has 2 21 corona patients on board. today they will dock in oakland. the question is where will people go. brian: the grand princess has not been allowed to return from hawaii. 3500 passengers get tested. ainsley: aishah hasnie is live with what happens next. what else the plan? >> good morning, steve, brian and ainsley. after extensive planning on the state and federal level the grand princess cruise ship as you said is docking in oakland, california today although the exact time we still don't know that yet. there are more than 20 confirmed cases among the 3500 people on board. passengers who need medical attention. they will get off first. but the coast guard has already evacuated a second passenger with a medical condition that's not related to this virus. all americans on board the ship will go to military posts in california, texas and georgia for further testing and a 14-day quarantine period. they are already getting ready for that isolation. >> certainly i was pretty concerned about it. it doesn't do any good to worry about it. if it's going to happen, it's going to happen. >> state department warning folks especially those with underlying health conditions to the to get on a cruise. and now coronavirus concerns reaching capitol hill. congressman paul and senator ted cruz say they potentially came into contact with the virus at the cpac event nearly two weeks ago. both men will isolate themselves and monitor their health. and right now five states have now declared health emergencies as the outbreak continues to grow to more than 500 cases nationwide. at least 21 of them are fatal. steve, brian, ainsley? steve: all right, aishah, thank you very much. ainsley: thanks, aishah. steve: we should also point out open to wall street today is going to be way down. apparently saudi arabia is essentially starting a new price war sending shock waves through the financial markets. they are going to flood the markets with cheap oil and price cuts it looks as if crude oil could drop to $30 a barrel which it hasn't been for a long time. goldman sak's suggesting it could go down to $20 a barrel. ainsley: gold is doing well. when you hear about these stories of the dad and daughter who go to the daddy daughter dance think they have -- they don't tell anyone. you have to trust people do the right thing. a lot of it is home quarantine. brian: other thing to keep in mind we will have dr. fauci in a while. if you have questions get it to us at foxnews.com. also dr. oz is going to be with us, too. keep in mind, if you get it, you are more than likely, you are going to survive it. as ben carson said yesterday it's important for people understand vast vort majority of people who get the virus have flu-like symptoms or less than that. a lot of people get it, they don't know they have it. that's the problem the testing kits haven't been made in such a very vos city anybody who needs a test can get it. that will change this week. you get it and it's over. beat it unless you are compromised or somehow you are older and have underlying conditions. no evidence that young kids get it. ainsley: all the schools now checking emails what the update is because they are sending out something almost every day. all of hayden's classes are sending stuff out because she is enrolled in dance. parents are sending out emails, text messages, i got some over the weekend. their schools have cancelled class for this entire week. steve: the number keeps getting bigger like there is over 500 cases here in the united states. but the government does not, at this point, tell us how many of those people have actually recovered, which i heard one metric, at least half of them. we are going to talk to the surgeon general about that. also, dr. oz, we read his point of view. he says that 80% of the people with it do not each know it. ainsley: dr. fauci the nation's leading on infectious diseases not surgeon general. steve: dr. oz said that. jillian: ask for the public for help after a 13-year-old shot and killed outside a dance studio. five other teenagers were wounded when a fight broke out in baltimore. they are all suspected to survive. police say the shooter or shooters are all on the run. the detectives are interviewing witnesses or looking for surveillance video from the area. we will keep you updated with any new information that we get. in the meantime, let's talk about, this days after a tornado destroyed their church worshipers hold sunday. set up church in the parking lot. despite the devastation the community's faith remains strong. >> when i arrived here, i immediately began to pray and ask god what do i stay in moments like this?
