like a wedding. they all were dressed in white. she had a wedding party. she had her sweet 16 party bunch of girls and guys. they had to wear all white and tuxedos. brian: incredible because you have to pick out your best friends. steve: do you know what started it mtv show my super sweet 16 tv show as much of life does. ainsley: remember their presents? they would get like bmws, ferraris. brian: i'm still waiting for my first. steve: it is a super sweet thursday and we have lots to tell you about. we are going to start with a story that is going to outrage you and you will be surprised at how little outrage there is in the mainstream media. yesterday, the supreme court was listening to a case, june medical services vs. rousseau. it was a challenge to a louisiana state law that required abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at hospitals within 30 miles of the facility. well, clearly, on a big case like this, you have both sides in front of the supreme court, including the senate minority leader, chuck schumer, who, listen to this soundbite, it sure sounds like he is threatening two members of the supreme court. >> i want to tell you gorsuch, i want to tell you kavanaugh, you have released the when i will wind and you will pay the price. [cheers and applause] you won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions. brian: well, now we know. ainsley: justice roberts was not happy about that. he issued a very rare rebuke. you normally don't hear from the justices. they usually try to stay above board. justices know criticism comes with the territory. but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous. all members of the court will continue to do their job without fear or favor from whatever quarter. brian: i am not sure if he wrote those comments down because one thing about chuck schumer he is glued to the copy like he has never seen it before, even on the simple police statement he seemed to be ad-libbing that i thought myself he is probably going to come out with an apology and talk about the need for his candidate to win the presidency in order to get a more liberal supreme court, but it wasn't like that at all. in fact, he didn't apologize at all. here's what the president says in the tweet, this is direct and dangerous threat to the u.s. supreme court by schumer, if a republican did it, he or she would be arrested or impeached. serious action must be taken. schumer's spokesperson justin goodman came back senator schumer's comments were a reference to the political price senate republican also play. steve: right. brian: putting these justices on the court for justice roberts to follow the right wing's deliberate misinterpretation of what senator schumer said while remaining silent when president trump attacked justices sotomayor and ginsburg last week. shows justice roberts. ainsley: he didn't attack them. they were heard saying political biased remarks about him. steve: so for the senator's spokesperson schumer's spokesperson to say the comments were a reference to the political price senate republicans would pay for putting these justices on the supreme court, they are talking. brian: no way. steve: he is talking about republican senators. mr. schumer was very clear, he was talking about two members of the supreme court. listen to the soundbite again. watch. >> i want to tell you gorsuch, i want to tell you, kavanaugh, you have released the when i will wind and you will pay the price. [cheers and applause] you won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.there is no place fors and it's inappropriate. steve: here is what josh hawley said. josh hawley said i would normally expect the senate minority leader to apologize but he said he has no shame, so today he is going to be filing a censure papers against the man right there charles schumer who sure sounded like to a lot of people like he was threatening two members of the supreme court. we should remember, you know, donald trump, when he did mention sotomayor and ginsburg a while back and he also, once upon a time referred to this guy is an obama judge, to which the supreme court justice john roberts came out and said, look, there are no obama judges or trump judges, we are an independent judiciary. so he has taken shots at politicians before, the chief justice. but, nonetheless, this sounds like a threat. brian: yeah. you just expect more. number one, when you get into a leadership position, you are supposed to modulate others from flying off the handle and then you come in and maybe massage some type of apology. but for chuck schumer to take the lead and lose it like that and then to have his staff which arguably, you know, is as sophisticated as anybody on capitol hill come back with that retort and insult with that explanation makes me think my hope is that he will walk this back today. but, as you mentioned he is going to look to censure him. ainsley: senator john kennedy from louisiana is disappointed. he thinks he should also apologize. i wish all the justices would come together and say look, no more political comments. we want to stick together. we might have been appointed by obama. we might have been appointed by president trump, but we try not to have any political leanings. brian: as you might have noticed joe biden had a really good super tuesday. as you might have noticed, he picked up another state yesterday, and that was maine, setting up the ultimate cage match of bernie against biden. at stake the democratic nomination. steve: what's interesting is bernie has adopted a more aggressive tone with joe biden who yesterday he was talking about is my long time friend or colleague, blah blah blah blah blah blah. then he went out in front of the cameras in burlington, vermont and made it very clear, we are two different politicians with two different visions for america. and america is going to have to pick between the two of us. ainsley: well, here is senator or millionaire senator bernie sanders on biden running a campaign supported by billionaires. >> joe is running a campaign, which is obviously heavily supported by the corporate establishment. at last count he has received funding from at least 60 billionaires, 60 billionaires. when you have a campaign which is funded very significantly by the wealthy and the powerful, does anyone seriously believe that a president backed by the corporate world is going to bring about the changes in this country that working families and the middle class and lower income people desperately need? brian: he said he swore off political negative ads. that is over. he actually put out a pro-obama ad that the obama people some on the left are upset about because it makes it seem like he is endorsing bernie sanders because is he not. now is he going on biden entitlement cuts, iraq war, bad trade agreements and the wall street bailout. he believes his waterloo is probably michigan next week which he shocked the world and beat hillary in. he thinks he can do it again. however, he is trailing biden there and biden picked up some big union support yesterday. ainsley: interesting in the last few days became a one-on-one race between those two right there. people are wondering whether elizabeth warren will drop out. we are obviously disappointed that elizabeth is talking with our team to assess the path forward forward. this decision is in her hands and it's important that she has the time and space to consider what comes next. steve: speak of what comes next, what is really ilhan omar and donald trump were essentially on the same page. ilhan omar said bernie would have beaten biden on super tuesday if elizabeth warren would have dropped out and that's essentially what donald trump told sean hannity last night on his show. watch. >> i think elizabeth warren, who did terribly last night but she got enough votes that if bernie sanders would have had those votes and i assume he would have gotten the vast majority, he would have won all of those places or certainly most of them. he would have won texas. he would have won minnesota. he would have won massachusetts. so, elizabeth warren really, what she did -- you know, others left, they dropped out, and they supported joe biden. and that really helped. bernie sanders, if he was able to convince elizabeth warren to endorse him or even to just drop out, because she is doing terribly, he would have won a large number of the states that he lost last night. brian: listen to some of these words that are going to come out of bernie sanders. because it will give you an understanding of you who close the democrats are to coming together. fixed, the rich is picking them. the establishment is picking these candidates. we are left out, we are exiled. last time hillary clinton with super delegates gave the impression, and many agree, that the game was rigged against him, when she took over the dnc and basically had them work for her, that was hard core proof of it. so far you just see people consolidating around biden. it's hard to think that he could see any under handedness in it. if you want to prevent any democratic nominee outside of bernie sanders from winning, continue to have the tone that bernie had yesterday of saying the establishment doesn't want us to win because that's the type of thing that exercise radicalizes his followers. steve: bernie has been talking like that ever since he got screwed out of the nomination four years ago. what's interesting going back to what the president was talking about is apparently bernie spoke on the phone yesterday to elizabeth warren. he did not reveal what they decided; however, it has also been suggested he would like to see her in his administration. and. ainsley: he should have called her before super tuesday and told her that. steve: nonetheless, she is in his way and he knows that. ainsley: why do you think she didn't drop out before super tuesday when she saw the folks that were supporting biden dropping out like amy klobuchar and mayor pete and steyer? the answer is no. we are making some progress. historically everybody knows that young people do not vote in the kind of numbers that oolder people vote. i think that will change in the general election. i will be honest with you, we have not done as well in bringing young people. it is not easy. steve: there have you got bernie sanders super tuesday not so super for bernie sanders who had been the frontrunner as his strategy of rallying the youth vote fell flat. according to exit polls, the share of democratic voters under 30 this year was smaller than it was in 2016. here with more radio talk show host tony katz joining us from indianapolis. good morning to you. >> good to see you. steve: he has been saying bernie has expanding the democratic party by getting some younger voters involved. when you look at his valleys there are a lot of young people under 30. but, on tuesday, tony, they didn't show up for bernie. >> yeah. and bernie's entire explanation doesn't really hold, alabama, north carolina, south carolina, tennessee thought and prayer in the world with nashville, virginia. it wasn't that they were off by a percent. they were-by 3%, 4%, 5% from 2016. have people burnt out from the bern? that's an interesting question. i really don't apply it to well they really like joe biden. if the argument from young people or any voter is who is best to possibly lose the least to trump, well then that might be joe biden in a lot of people's mind in this two-man race. it isn't because all of a sudden younger people found an affinity for a guy who can't quote the declaration of independence or remember who his wife or sister is or talk talks about his hairs and corn pop. they may very well be looking at who when matched up with trump will lose the least that could to then be biden. steve: all right. so the early point, let's go ahead and take a look at voters under the age of 29 in north carolina. in 2016. look at that, 72% showed unjust this tuesday about half, 50%. and then when you look at south carolina, 54% in 2016. it was closer this time, 52%. and finallied in the commonwealth of virginia, almost 70% in 2016 and tony, it was just half in 2020. i wonder if it's issue oriented because when you are at the rallies very clear bernie is for a lot of free stuff but also for legalizing marijuana as well and that does drive the numbers. >> well, he is for a lot of things that you can argue that young people are in favor of or millennials are in favor of but there are many things that joe biden is in favor of as well. there he is bringing beto o'rourke onto the stage and beto you are going to work with me to take all the guns. that might be something for feel who know nothing about the second amendment and bought into the scare tactics like moms in action and watts, et cetera might turn them on. as for why they didn't show up i think we have to find this out and figure this out. part of it could be the when i will wind from media and others from south carolina to super tuesday may have had some people who would go out to the polls and say i don't know what i want to do. when you think about the turn around for biden in south carolina thanks to jim clyburn and others. klobuchar and pete buttigieg for has been some of that vote would have also gone. they maybe said i'm not sure what i'm going to do. like taking a look at biden's numbers and assuming it's all over. i don't know that it's all over. i'm curious to see what michiganders are going to do. people of missouri, kentucky this weekend. they have had time to process all of this. the people who voted for biden may have looked at the girl in the bar at 2:00 a.m. and said you are the one and woke up the next morning and said oh, oh gosh, oh, what has happened here? steve: why do you think blirn hasn't dropped out. the president said bernie would have done better if she would have dropped out. >> and the president is right about that. i wrote an article and asked when you take a look at the pete-amy supporter why do i assume they are going to biden? why wouldn't they go to elizabeth warren? maybe you talk about the endorsement from the "new york times." you can go for another woman. you take a look at policy buttigieg is more aligned with biden buy not about the yelling. they are not interested. wholly unlikeable person third place in your own state, that's a disaster just like she was in fourth place in new hampshire. why doesn't she drop out because her ego a mile wide that could have one thing to do with it. because she could see a path to a spoiler some kind of consensus candidate. for those bernie people who want the policies but don't want the wrapper and for those biden people who don't trust that he engage without falling apart against trump on stage. steve: let's see what happens. tony katz joining us from indiana today. sir, thank you very much. >> good to see you. steve: good to see you. meanwhile, you just heard what tony thinks about elizabeth warren. why does the media think warren lost? [cheers] you won't know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions. brian: wow. justice roberts isn't the only one upset. g.o.p. senator josh hawley tweeting this out i would call on schumer to apologize we all know he has no shame so tomorrow i will introduce a motion to censure schumer for his pathetic attempt at intimidation of the supreme court. here now is judge napolitano. was that a threat. >> no, i don't think legally it was a threat. i think it was hyperbolic. it was excessive use of words and it was an attempt to intimidate. but it's protected speech. a threat, where you have the present, apparent ability to cause the harm you are threatening is not protected speech but this is. however, this effort to politicize the court, to make them look like they can be intimidated by a mob outside of the courthouse is very, very dangerous to our system. we put in the hands of nine human beings the ability to decide what the laws mean and what the constitution means. and we accept those decisions because they have the moral authority to make them. when we begin to look at them as politicians in black robes, instead of as the nine, it undermines respect for law. and that's the danger from what senator schumer says. it also doesn't make sense what he said. his problem is with the louisiana legislature that wrote the statute that's being construed. at the time he said that justice gorsuch and justice kavanaugh hadn't uttered a peep about this statute. steve: judge, you know that on big case days like yesterday, in front of the supreme court, you always have hyperbolic staples made by people from different political points of view. but to have the highest ranking democrat in the u.s. senate make a threat and say those two guys you two are going to pay the price. > what could he have possibly meant by you are going to pay the price. steve: think about who is listening to that oh, yeah, they should pay the price? was actually in the supreme court he issued this statement which is super rare for him to do this but nonetheless, he thought schumer was way, you know, off the line, past the line, over the bounds, he said justices know that criticism comes with the territory. but threatening the statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous. all members of the court will continue to do their job without fear or favor from whatever quarter. well, after schumer said it, his spokesperson came out with an explanation that is absolutely laughable. ainsley: when people are asking schumer about it and so many republicans weighing in on this, we are going to read you some of the comments. senator schumer's spokesperson justin goodwin released this statement senator schumer's comments were a reference to the political price senate republicans will pay for putting these justices on the court. brian: that is such an unacceptable explanation. it's an insult to awful our intelligence. to quote billie madison we are all dumber for having heard it and was a great movie but based on adam sandler's youth. but, here is chuck schumer's. steve: listen to what the spokesperson said that he was it was a reference to the political price senate republicans would pay? we're going to play it again. see if you can hear anything about senate republicans. ainsley: we are just learning that senator mcconnell is going to call out schumer on the floor which i think is a great decision because this needs to stop. it's ridiculous. it's a threat. it's president tweeted this last night and talked about this with sean hannity. he said this is direct and dangerous threat to the u.s. supreme court by schumer. if a republican did this he or she would be arrested or impeached. serious action must be taken now. ainsley: he didn't just go on to say you will pay the price. he went on to say you won't know what hit you if go forward with these awful decisions. steve: i didn't hear senators. i heard two names. some of the senators who will be in attendance when mitch mcconnell goes ahead and calls out chuck schumer who is sitting right over there next to him. joshua hawley who is going to introduce the resolution it was disgusting, shameful and weak regarding the spin from schumer's team. mitt romney said laughably illogical. susan collins, the senator from maine said outrageous and senator ted cruz who is going to be joining us at the conclusion of today's show called it judicial intimidation. the judge said this about that just about main story in our country playing off super tuesday is the uncanny, surprising. steve: unbelievable. brian: stunning series of 10 victories for joe biden setting bernie sanders back big time. he thought he would have a substantial delegate lead but he lost texas. ainsley: he might have if warren -- brian: he lost virginia and mass mass. and he finds himself -- now he finds himself coming from behind. ainsley: many are saying he might not. he might have been in the lead if elizabeth warren had dropped out like amy klobuchar did and pete buttigieg to give her support to bernie sanders. meanwhile, bernie has been on the media. he was in his home state of vermont yesterday criticizing the media. listen to this. >> this just confirms exactly what i said. what the media has been talking about for months. how do we stop bernie sanders? how do we stop a movement of working people and low income people? how do we stop a multigenerational, multiracial movement which is standing up for justice? and what you do is you get candidates out of the race to rally around joe biden and now joe will have behind him, i don't know what the -- what role mayor bloomberg will be playing, but obviously as the ninth wealthiest person in this country worth some $60 billion, i suspect we will see you know, a lot of money coming into biden's campaign. probably a lot of negative ads attacking me. that's what we're taking on. steve: that's what bernie has been talking about the last four years when he feels like the nomination was stolen from him by hillary clinton. and now, you know, and famously we have been talking about it the last 48 hours about how joe biden, screen left, was pretty much written off for dead until he wound up with the endorsement in south carolina of james clyburn, one of the most powerful people in the house of representatives. most powerful man in politics in house from south carolina. got the endorsement. and then just blew away bernie by 30 points. the establishment said good, this is the guy who can kill bernie sanders, his candidacy because we don't want him to be the guy. at least that is how bernie feels. and when you watch mainstream media, just watch how they are rallying around joe. >> what the democrats were able to do right before super tuesday would coalesce around a single candidate in order to try and stop bernie sanders. >> you are seeing the emergence of what you might call a biden coalition. >> biden has said over and over again he doesn't believe democratic socialist message. joe biden is moving forward. mayor bloomberg will get behind him. >> those big endorsement endorsm amy klobuchar, pete buttigieg and beto o'rourke they hoped all of that was going to move the needle. and it certainly did. you zoom out. this was unprecedented come back. brian: keep in mind, too. steve: it was. brian: two things make it really befuddling. joe biden did nothing to deserve that type of those type of big wins. he doesn't visit seven of the states that he actually won he spent no money in those areas. he had below average debate performance. look at some of thinks things on the stump, we have been playing some of the gaffes. so horrific they would have destroyed any of the candidacy. instead he ends up almost running the table on super tuesday. what bernie is going to do is because he has no senior support and he has almost no african-american support, he is going to start looking at long-term care, talking about single payer, dental, vision for seniors, is he going to try to start winning some of that bracket from biden. but i think the whole -- every democrat with any type of street cred success in their background has just made joe biden the guy. because they don't see anybody else to rally around. ainsley: you said he doesn't deserve it because he didn't campaign. brian: he does not deserve it. ainsley: vice president under obama. many people say he deserves it because of that. went to south carolina. went there to get the african-american vote. got it and then he just started soaring. steve: he put all of his eggs in that basket and it paid off for him. here is the thing ultimately. the joe biden who is dead politically a week ago is the same guy who is going to be on the stage on march 15th in that debate with bernie sanders and bernie sanders said yesterday he doesn't want it to be a food fight but, nonetheless, if the nomination is on the line, and we saw bernie get a little more aggressive yesterday, don't be surprised. when you look at the delegate count, right now they are pretty much neck in neck, biden is ahead by 65 points and then warren lingers. the longer she is in the race, the more it hurts bernie. and that's why he had a conversation with her yesterday on the phone. apparently he said he might be interested in her being on his cabinet but nonetheless she is still in it. ainsley: i'm sure he is infuriated her not getting out before super tuesday he could have won some of those states. brian: chose hillary clinton over bernie sanders. she says she is a capitalist. she could find herself if she i cans the bernie sanders train and establishment is on the other train. she could find herself further alienated for the rest of her political career. now we know they don't like her in massachusetts. steve: she came in third. brian: democrats will turn around and go you sided with the extreme candidate bernie sanders who is not even a real democrat there is a political risk for her. steve: i don't know how much more politically alienated she can be than finishing third in her home state. brian: if she biden it would go to bernie. this is the last power move she has in her quiver. >> steve: 7:11. ainsley: now we are going to hand it over to is clearly frustrated by the partisanship that has infected the u.s. government's response to the coronavirus. listen to what he said just last night on hannity. >> the democrats weaponize the virus against the trump administration. they weaponized anything we do. even though they have no facts. they just say oh, we don't like the job they're doing. if you found a cure and everything disappeared within 24 hours, they would say you did a terrible job. >> democrats have accused the trump administration of not taking the threat posed by the coronavirus seriously enough. they say the white house low balled its initial $2.5 billion emergency funding request. and yesterday the house approved a bipartisan bill for more than three times that amount. $8.3 billion. but the trump administration maintains that it has been on top of this from day one by imposing those very strict travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines since the very beginning of the outbreak. and more recently the vice president has been holding nearly daily briefings in the briefing room to update the press. he said last night that the threat remains low for most americans. and today the vice president is going to be heading to washington state which has really become ground zero for the coronavirus outbreak in the united states. and i asked him last night during that briefing, irsaid do you have any hesitation about traveling today, flying to washington state? and he said that he had no hesitation whatsoever. brian, ainsley, steve? steve: all right, kristin, thank you very much. and, of course, out in california, they declared a state of emergency over what is happening over there. 7:13 now here in new york city. ainsley: carley has headlines. carley: speaking of california another headline out of that state. a fox news alert. the search is on for a gunman who killed a man and injured five others near a skatenjured a 7-year-old girl. police say the shooter fired multiple rounds at an apartment complex in southern california where dozens had gathered after a funeral. no word on the victim's condition. police believe the shooting may be gang-related. fbi agents linked to the carter page probe are blocked by the fisa court from seeking additional surveillance measures. last year an inspector general's report found significant errors in investigation into whether the former trump campaign [cheers and applause] brian: what the heck was that. senator chuck schumer under fire for those comments against the president's supreme court picks and the supreme court overall. our next guest argues it's not the first time he has talked this way pointing to this remark to donald trump. >> take on the intelligence community. they have six ways from sunday at getting back at you. so, even for a practical supposedly hard nosied businessman is he being really dumb to do this. brian: g.o.p. congressman mark meadows and jim jordan join us right now. they see similarities between those two remarks. first, guys, would you both comment on what you just heard on the steps of the supreme court? jim? >> jim, go ahead. >> well, it's inappropriate, but you are right, brian, this is not the first time chuck schumer has tried to intimidate someone. it didn't work with president trump. i don't think it's going to work with justice gorsuch and justice kavanaugh. but it still is wrong. you don't do those kind of things. and he is right. the intelligence community did try to go after president trump and we have uncovered that, and horowitz report further exposed what they tried to do. so, you know, he shouldn't be trying to intimidate. it didn't work with president trump. i don't think it's going to work with the supreme court justices. >> and, brian, jim is exactly right. here is the interesting thing is, his spokesman puts out this unbelievable declaration that supposedly he was talking to senate republicans. there is only two problems with that. he was standing in front of the supreme court and he mentioned two supreme court justices. listen, this is typical chuck schumer. what he wants to do is actually rile up the base and make sure what they do is put as much political pressure in the media not only on the supreme court but on the president, but these kind of tactics won't work because the american people won't stand for it. brian: see the other thing just a clue you know how he looks at his copy on everything. he puts it right up to him and reads it. he was winging that. >> yeah. brian: we all sometimes get in front of crowds and say things you regret. have so much respect for him to say wow, i was off the handle yesterday. i'm just very emotional about a very touchy issue. that would go a long way, wouldn't it, either one of you mark or jim? >> it would. i think probably the biggest thing that we have here, brian, is that he just should apologize and say i misspoke. i send an apology. he can criticize their decisions all day long, but, when you start making threats, whether they are veiled threats or not, it's just inappropriate. brian: i want to bring elections into this because i would argue that maybe president trump doesn't win if there wasn't a vacant supreme court seat. there was a reason why a lot of republicans said there is an urgency to get a conservative on the supreme court. do you believe this is beginning to heat up in the same way because of justice ginsburg's age and obviously health challenges that would take place over the next four years? do you see the base, jim jordan, getting just as exercised because that's at stake with this next election? >> it's always an important issue because the commander-in-chief, the president of the united states gets to nominate the supreme court justice. that's always an issue front and center and particularly on the life issue. remember, this president was the first president in american history to go in person to the march for life rally. the democrats are trying to make this issue. but our side will, too. we appreciate that president trump has stood up for the sanctity of human life. brian: mark, i'm going to change subjects real quick. your reaction to senator johnson calling now for subpoenas to get paperwork on what exactly hunter biden was up to with burisma and a bunch of ukrainian names we can't pronounce. they are saying it's all about joe biden's resurgence. is it? ainsley: new book citizens guide to beating donald trump. david plouffe. hey, david. >> thanks for having me on. ainsley: being friends with biden, i'm sure you think he is going to get the nomination, right. >> he is in the driver's seat now just because the states coming up that he may win states like georgia, florida, mississippi by big margins and our proportional delegate system that's how you accrue delegates. if you win a state 52-48 goes your color on the map but you don't really get additional delegates. the calendar unfolds nicely for him and also his strength in the african-american vote and in suburban areas you put that together it's a pretty big coalition. he has a really important debate coming up on march 15th. he did all of this on the wings of momentum not a lot of money and staff. he has to build up the campaign to close out the primary and get ready for trump who is looming. steve: it's bernie and biden. we saw all those people endorsing biden when, you know, a lot of people are surprised that elizabeth warren has not yet dropped out and endorsed well, you know, it would seem to be bernie. but, what's going on with her? >> well, i think she should be given the time and space to figure out, you know, i think it's pretty clear she is going to end her campaign she hasn't made it official. does she endorse one of these people? does she not? what does she say when she gets out? what's her plan for the next seven or eight months to be effective on the campaign trail? i would be surprised if we don't hear something today, certainly by tomorrow. brian: he is the sitting vice president, he has been at this job in washington since he was 29 years old. why did he have no money? why was his staff so bad? and this is congressman clyburn said this. says we'll have to sit down and get serious how to retool this campaign. they are lacking in many ways. and i guess he is going to play some type of role. where was the foundation? >> well, i think he started with a good foundation. i will say this. they had a really good strategy around delegates which i know isn't very sexy but it's how you win the nomination. so he has never been a strong online money raiser. and when you couple that with struggling in a campaign, all the momentum gets sucked out. he has raised a lot of money now. i look at it this way. we have never had a president this getting reelected. i worked with barack obama and had more than a passing interest. trump has this network. he has his unofficial campaign chairman vladimir putin, he has billions of dollars. is he a brilliant. brian: that is not don't say unofficial campaign chairman vladimir putin. >> listen, he got help last time. brian: you had the whole network. every show here is different. talked to him last night on sean hannity is he not happy with this network. >> this is his happy place own political west world. brian: he knows it's the number one channel in america. we beat every channel no matter the format. >> this is not a debate. this is the news media, media outlets should hold the powerful to account not the account to the powerful. my point is, biden needs to build a campaign to beat trump who has all these other advantages. ainsley: we have you on the network. >> i appreciate that i think democrats should come here. all the time to talk to your viewers. ainsley: we agree. we invite them all. president obama, when is he going to endorse? is this the time now? >> no. i think he is going to let voters play the process. what barack obama, michelle obama, other leaders who have stayed neutral need to do is help wring this party together which i think will come together. that is -- if you don't bring the party together, it's hard to win the election, so i think that's the appropriate place. steve: and you make a good point, you know, we are the number one cable morning news show, we are the number one news channel, so this is where the eyeballs are. that's why you are here talking about your book. explain citizens guide to beating donald trump. or does the title explain it? >> well, it does. i think there is lessons in here for any election. so the point is you disagree, obviously, i do think trump has -- he has got fox and breitbart and local sinclaire stations and he is an incumbent which brings advantages. they have done a wonderful job finding and registering voters. you look at trump's approval rating in battleground states going to be easy tote beat. not easy to beat. ferocious political competitor. add to his vote total through registration. and he understands how to communicate in today's day and age so well. blunt force messaging. gifts, memes, photos. so, we don't have a similar infrastructure. we are going to have a few months. trump is ready for this election. they know where they are going to get every single vote they need in wisconsin and arizona. what does an average citizen do? they can contribute and we need them to, and they can vote. we need them to hit the streets, hit their phones, get on social media, create content. if we don't have millions of people basically fighting back every day against some of trump's advantages, he is going to win re-election. brian: you know, you are the person to do that because you under estimated donald trump last time. you said hillary has a 100 percent chance of winning. >> yeah, i was 100 percent wrong. brian: you also said you were going to win in pennsylvania, wisconsin and michigan. when you were pressed on that you said well, instead of winning by 6 or 8 we will win by 3 to 5. >> right. i think what i saw and i think what, listen, everybody got this wrong. but having run presidential campaigns, i deserve special -- i think criticism for this. you saw that she was going to underperform obama in some rural and suburban areas and worried about turnout particularly amongst young minorities. some of the shifts that donald trump got they were counties barack obama won 20 points that he won by 20. there is counties barack obama might have lost by 10, hillary lost by 40. so part of the message in my book is have you got to get in those secrets. most of those people are going to stick with trump. peel a few back. that was what was happening. that is such a court of trump's political base. counties that used to be slightly more competitive or keep within 20 points that he won by margins i'm a student of politics. some of those margins on election day in states like iowa and ohio and wisconsin, i couldn't believe they happened. by the way trump and his campaign deserve a lot of credit for that did he that without much money, not the professional campaign he has right now. so, again, that's the other reason i think democrats cannot underestimate this election is going to be. steve: david plouffe, thank you very much for coming on telling us about your new book "a citizen's guide to beating donald trump." thank you. sir. ainsley: 37 minutes after the top of the hour. desperate search in tennessee for days missing after tornado tore through that state. a live report from that community straight ahead. steve: country music star big kenny from big and rich how the country music community is coming together to help those in need today. >> good morning. some people have come to help out that the county has actually asked people to not to come today. they had 2500 volunteers yesterday. and now they say they need work for the power crews to restore power to the homes in this area. i want to show you some of this debris because when you look at it specifically, you see you are reminded that this is stuff that belonged to people, just a few days ago like this wagon here. bikes over there and the people i have talked to, what's amazed me here in tennessee is that even the people who have lost everything, they feel lucky to have survived and even they want to help out. listen. >> everybody has got heart beats number one, and how do we help? steve: nashville strong. all right. thank you very much, grady. you know, in the wake of that tornado, nashville's country music stars including our next guest came together showing support for their city and those affected last night. ainsley: country music singer big keny of big and rich joins us now. good morning to you. >> good morning. ainsley: what's it been like over the last few days for you guys? >> well, it's crazy when you think of the amount of destruction and everyone is seeing it out there it just makes it so real. and a lot more real to the people who actually got affected by it than myself and my family who were lucky enough to be south of the path of this tornado two nights ago to being woke up early in the morning to today and seeing the ongoing efforts of everybody just trying to get their lives back in order, it's just one of those things that reminds you how important community is and how much we can all do when we come together to try to help our neighbors. steve: absolutely. brian: we know the number is down to 21 missing. some people had taken off ahead of time and just not there. 18 have lost their lives. kenny, what strikes you as you walk around? what hit home for you? in 1998 i was actually in downtown nashville putting up show posters for my band that was going to be playing. i remember walking up church street and at that point in time that's when we had the first big tornado that i saw hit this town and i watched that tornado come right at me as cars were sliding off the sides of the street and people were screaming. i was pulling them to an underground parking shelter. and it just brought back a flash of that memory and seeing how that -- how that affected our city and how we all stood together, grew back even stronger than ever. but, what is so amazing is the path of this tornado is very similar to that one. just a little bit north of it. and then how it cut pretty much west to east across the state. it hit very similar areas. but, i mean, everything from demolished. done son christian academy, a school that's just leveled. imagine if that had happened in the middle of the day when those kids are there. it's unbelievable. so, you know, i count my blessings that, you know, as many people were kept safe as possible and there was no more deaths from it than what we have had. you know, it's just heart wrenching for all of us. such a great time for us all to come together and do whatever we can to help out. steve: right. kenny, you came together with others last night at a telethon to raise money for those impacted. what is -- you know, after you concluded it, what did you think about the response as people, you know, reached out to you, called in, donated, talk about what happened. >> well, we were down there at the william morris agency which is our agency here in nashville with american red cross. and from first thing in the morning a.m. until late last night they had a room full of telephones and people there accepting calls all day long and it is just concerned citizen after concerned citizen, neighbor after neighbor calling, in giving $5, $10, $200, $20,000, whatever it may be. but that day collected i think near half a million dollars. there are ongoing efforts like that all over the place right now. the community foundation middle tennessee. cfmt.org is a great foundation that we have here that is collecting funds if people want to make donations on behalf of that. and it's just always awesome to see the strong outpouring of support in this community and from so many communities outside of here. i mean, there is a lot of people in this country that have relationship to music city u.s.a. and by golly we are going to keep the music playing. steve: right, another website is visit music city.com/nashville strong as is on the screen right there to donate as well. >> correct. steve: big kenny thank you so much. ainsley: tell john hello. the two of you do so much for that community. >> absolutely. god bless. brian: big kenny, huge heart too. ainsley: big kenny, big heart. brian: let's go over to the janice dean for the latest weather challenges. janice: well, funerally we don't have any moisture moving into the area. no rain in the forecast for parts of tennessee. we did get reports ef-4. two ef-4s moving through that area of winds in excess or close to 175 miles per hour and like big kenny mentioned the communities coming together today and for the weeks ahead to rebuild and help everyone out that they can. past 24 hours we are getting the potential for heavy rain across the southeast and parts of florida and georgia and alabama. we could actually see some strong storms later on this afternoon large hail, damaging winds, isolated tornadoes as this frontal boundary brings the potential for that and some flooding rain fall. we have had quite a bit of rain in this area more rain in the forecast unfortunately. watch for the potential of flash flooding. good news is for our friends in tennessee we have drier days ahead for search and rescue ongoing and days and weeks ahead for all of the rebuilding that will take place. steve: all right, janice, thank you very much. all right. 11 minutes before the top of the hour. here is a question for you. will history repeat itself in the biden bernie sn barack obamd hillary clinton. so what can we learn from that race? >> well, it is a hotly contested week that i think on the one hand has kind of more of the democratic establishment candidate, like it or not, we were. right? against an outsider candidate, which, at that time barack obama was and so is sanders. i would say that it was equally close. we actually won the primaries but lost the -- lost the caucuses. and the caucuses don't seem to have as much -- as many votes or as much power as it did because that's where the activists really control. but there are some stark differences here. i think right now both of those candidates are really well-liked. i think sanders has to expand his base to older voters, and really biden has to show he's strong, he can push sanders back and stand up in the next debate, which is going to be, i think, the decider. steve: and the next debate is going to be on march 15th, beware of the ides of march. mark, going forward, you watch tv and a lot of people on the other channels are talking about well joe biden, come back kid, it's just a matter of time before bernie sees the writing on the wall and he is not going to be the guy. >> well, right now, sanders' biggest problem is elizabeth warren. >> yeah. >> if elizabeth warren had gotten out when the other candidates got out, you wouldn't actually be hearing about the biden night. sanders would have won several more states and would have been in the secure position is she getting out today? it sure looks that way. so it will be a clean one-on-one race. steve: right. >> that's where i think the debate is going to be absolutely critical and that's where i think you are going to see -- you are going to see biden is going to have to come out and keep swinging. on the other hand, i think sanders has to do the opposite. older voters, african-american voters, court them, come out with some proposals. you know, most seniors don't like medicare for all for the simple reason they have medicare and to them medicare for all means their program is going to get watered down. steve: the problem for bernie was so many of his young voters simply did not go out and vote that day and now i'm sure he is going to try his best to motivate them. mark penn the chairman of the harris poll and former clinton presidential campaign chief back in 2000 will, mark, thank you. >> thank you. steve: all right. we have got great show to go. one more hour, newt gingrich, jack brewer, dana loesch and senator ted cruz. ♪ ♪ ... my patients i often see them have teeth sensitivity as well as gum issues. does it worry me? >> my thoughts are that it's a free country and people can basically make up anything you want to that certainly would not be the position of the catholic church as an institution. it would not be the position of any of the bishops or card cardinals and it wouldn't be the position of the pope but look you have a lot of politicians, joe biden is one, nancy pelosi is another, who are catholic, who grew up in the church, and who have become pro-abortion. some of them tok such a degree, they are willing to kill the baby after its born, and somehow they justify that in their minds and most of the country, most persons, do not think that abortion in the 7th, eighth and 9th month or killing the baby after its born as the governor of virginia advocated they don't think that's acceptable, moral or legitimate and that's a real challenge for the democrats because they are increasingly fenatic on this issue. brian: so when justice roberts as you just alluded to came out and said this is unacceptable we almost nevada hear that, judge napolitano says he never speaks out about another lawmakers perceived threats so you'd expect senator schumer to walk back and apologize he didn't. senator schumers comments were a reference to the political price senate republicans will pay, for putting these justices on the court. now, i feel better. do they even put any thought into that? they said just to buy that? you don't reference this to senate. >> look, you know it's a lie. i know it's a lie, and virtually any person who pays attention knows it's a lie. i think the wall street journal had an editorial pointing out that it was an absurd defense. schumer made a mistake. he should apologize for it, he should admit it's totally out of bounds and as i said it's dangerous. we live in a world where some fenatic can listen to that, decide since he named the two justices by name, maybe they should do something about it. this is really dangerous stuff and schumer ought to apologize and call for a much calmer obedience to the law. steve: apparently mitch mcconnell is going to call out schumer later on today and it sounds like mr. holl y from the great state of missouri will introduce a resolution, meanwhile, newt, i'm sure you were watching on super tuesday evening it was a stunning turn around for joe biden as the democrats rallied around him just in the nick of time and he wound up doing much better than people thought he would do four days earlier but bernie called out the media for rallying around mr. biden, as we hear in this montage. >> but this just confirms exactly what i said. what the media has been talking about for months. how do we stop bernie sanders? how do we stop a movement of working people and low income people? how do we stop a multi- generational, multi-racial movement which is standing up for justice and what you do is you get candidates out of the race to rally around joe biden and now, joe will have behind him, i don't know what the first i heard of what mayor bloomberg may be playing in his role but obviously as the ninth wealthiest person in this coun some $60 billion, i suspect we will see , you know, a lot of money coming into biden's campaign, probably a lot of negative ads attacking him. steve: and joe biden and he are set to have another debate. it's going to be on march 15. bernie sanders said he hopes it doesn't turn out to be a food fight with joe biden, but come on. there's a lot on the line, newt. >> newt: well there is and i think that it's going to be interesting to see how sanders takes on biden. there's a sort of general agreement with the democratic party that you're not allowed to talk about hunter biden, you're not allowed to talk about money from the ukraine or money from china, and in many ways, joe biden has been protected both by the elite news media, and by his fellow candidates, so it'll be interesting to see whether sanders goes down that road. i'm sure that sanders is going to take biden on as a representative of the corporate democratic party, the insider party, but the challenge for bernie is that the 50 hours and i wrote a newsletter talking about this 50 hours where you go from the night before south carolina and people thinking can biden even stay in the race, and can anybody stop sanders, 50 hours later, biden wins south carolina, the news media piles on, pete buttigieg drops out and endorses him, klobuchar drops out and endorses him, and he ends up carrying, a rocker endorses him, suddenly biden has the momentum, it turns out that $500 billion, the $500 million, a half billion, $500 million spent by bloomberg proved the old rule that great advertising can't sell a bad product, and he proved in the two debates that bloomberg was a terrible product, and so he crashes, now he's endorsed biden, and i think it's a little hard to see and i'm going to do a podcast this sunday about the results. a little hard to see right now how sanders does anything except become sort of an insurgent candidate representing about 40% of the party, but not i don't see a road for him right now to get back to being the majority, unless he takes biden head on and i don't think the sanders instinct is to do that. ainsley: what about all those democrats that like bernie sanders and if biden gets the nomination will they support him? >> newt: well, look, i think biden is a professional and he's surrounded by professionals. they did a great job of orchestrating all of the endorsements and really moving the system and 50 hours or so. i assume that they will reach out and say, you know, what do you need in the platform? and sanders has said he needs medicare for all so biden will have a couple of big decisions. if, in fact, biden and again, this is not over. remember, the world changed in the last five days, so let's not assume that we understand what it's going to be like three months from now, but i think if biden continues to build momentum, he's then going to be faced with a clear choice. does he reach to the left to try to bring sanders in and is there anything in the platform or other things, let bernie be the keynote speaker, et cetera, is there anything you can do to bring bernie in, or , in fact, does he play the role that bill clinton played in 1992 and take bernie head on and say look, you know, i'm a centrist, i'm not a left wing crazy and i think the country is going to prefer me to trump and in the end, bernie's people will all vote for me because the alternative is trump. and biden has a couple of big decisions there. brian: he's not a centrist. he's embracing the new green deal and wants beto to head up the gun policy, you've never seen such extremes in the same party but newt, here is the thing going forward i think we should just call this as it is. he's run a terrible campaign, he's terrible on the stump, he cannot get anyone to a rally, he cannot ad-lib anything, he can't get through an appearance without a major mishap. it's the same guy. he didn't visit seven of the states that he actually won. they have nowhere else to turn. >> newt: right, look everything you just said, when he said you've got to go out and vote on super thursday, i thought that was probably one more indication that he wasn't altogether in touch with reality but what does it tell you, as weak a candidate as biden is and he's always been a weak candidate, he had to dropout twice before running for president, what does it tell you that as weak as he is that the others were weaker? i mean, this was a collection of like the movie dumb and dumber. this was weak and weaker and it's kind of weak and weaker, a whole bunch that are weaker weak er but what does it tell you that bloomberg can spend $500 million? i don't know about you guys -- ainsley: what was the problem there, was he not charasmatic enough because remember that debate they put all their money on biden. >> newt: it wasn't that he wasn't charasmatic. look, bloomberg really was little mike. all right? brian: what do you think about that philosophy? >> you know, the only dream that these guys are defending is a dream of having an america that's lawless, and it's really sad. when you look at the criminal justice system now, we have made some peoples but we have a long way to go and what this group does is they go in and try to go against everything that actually works for an inmate. a lot of people that get locked up in prison have drug addiction s, they are battling all kinds of issues, many grew up in broken homes, in abuse, and so these folks need rehabilitation and so i think we missed that, and that's the main thing is that when folks go to prison they go there to be help ed, and you got a group that's advocating and they actually have support. they're advocating against having institutions that actually help people. it's sickening. ainsley: where would a murderer go then? >> yeah, for them, they want anyone who commits a crime to be let free. given a fine, or whatever, and it's really sad, because they always play the race card. you always hear that they go right back to that and that's become a really liberal philosophy. they think if they can divide us through our identity, and separate us and separate this nation, that's what their main goal is and a lot of ways it's working for them, because they unite around that. they get angry and you see them all come together with a lot of hate. steve: so jack, you're saying that there are a lot of troubled people in this country who wind up getting swept up into the criminal justice system, and they wind up getting incarcerated, ultimately they do need some sort of rehabilitation but look at what's happening here in new york state after they did criminal justice reform it's almost impossible to get arrested and stay in jail after doing things like famously a guy knocked over a bank a couple of times they keep letting him out. >> yeah, but that's not real criminal justice reform. criminal justice reform is not just about sentencing reform. in a place like new york they focus only on sentencing, letting people out of jail early they need to focus on rehabilitation, not incarceration so when people are healed or people are improved through programming you look at the budget even federally, there's about 180,000 inmates in federal prisons across america. when you look at the budget that goes into actual programming, you know, and these groups like the dream defenders they go against any private prison like they slander the name when companies like the geo group are the ones out there actually putting millions of dollars into rehabilitating inmates and it's really sad, because as a nation, we owe, we have an obligation to help the most underserved people in prison and that's biblical, man. the bible tells us to serve our prisoners and that's what i do and hopefully folks stand up against people like the dream defenders. ainsley: jack brewer thank you. you're a good man, good to see you. >> great to be here again. god bless you. ainsley: god bless you. steve: we did reach out to the bernie sanders campaign and they have not gotten back to us so far. all right, 8:24 here in new york city and coming up ainsley? >> yeah, and good morning to all of you thank you for having me. i actually was surprised it was chuck schumer as opposed to some of the other senators or even members of the house, because he's a little bit typical, more calculated than this , but that's all to the wind now because here he is in front of an angry mob of people, and i don't know if you guys have seen the videos that the have been going around of their protest for abortion, but they weren't exactly the calm its crowd and he's yelling in front of an angry mob of people and naming supreme court justices. i think democrats owe it to voters to be a little bit more careful than what with rhetoric like this. these people do not follow their rules on rhetoric. i know you all remember them losing their ever-loving minds when trump tweeted and then there was some democrats even suggesting that perhaps he be impeached over tweeting criticism about her job performance which as the commander-in-chief it was well within his right to do, so this is inexcusable for chuck schumer and do you know what? i'm sick and tired of progressives getting the pass on their rhetoric. it is their rhetoric driving the polarization of america, it is their rhetoric telling voters that they're going to die if net neutrality passes or doesn't pass or if their healthcare policy doesn't pass, and it has been democrats that have accused republicans and conservatives, myself included, of things that they, themselves, are the ones doing so i hope that happens and i hope an apology happens, but they don't have the grace to do it. ainsley: what did he mean by they will pay the price? >> dana: that's a great question, ainsley i'd love to know what he means by that, and they're trying to go back later and say we're talking about other republican senator, no, no , no he's not because he named two supreme court justices, and he's focused a rage of the mob that he was speaking to, towards the supreme court justices, so he's going to have to lie better than that. steve: to your earlier point, dana, steve scalise, who knows better than anybody, what the dangers of their job, steve scalise said where is the mainstream media outrage? and ben saas said if a republican-threatened justice, it be the biggest story not just in america, but all across america. where's the outrage that it sounds like the minority leader of the u.s. senate is threatening two sitting supreme court justices. >> dana: that's the million dollar question where is the outrage, where is the criticism? >> janice: yeah, unfortunately one of the tornadoes was an ef-4 which is winds of 175 miles per hour, and one of those tornadoes actually traveled 50 miles, so they have experienced tornadoes in and around the nashville area but this is the first in probably a decade that has been this strong. all right, past 24 hours we still have that frontal boundary in place across the southeast and that could bring the potential for more severe weather including large hail damaging winds and isolated tornadoes as well as we have seen an incredible amount of rain over this area, saturated ground is going to lead to some flash flooding concerns there is your severe weather threat for parts of georgia as well as north florida, as we go through the afternoon and the evening, again that threat for strong storms and then the flooding risk is going to continue throughout the day today, this will eventually move offshore. better days, dryer day for tennessee and nashville as they continue to search and rescue and the cleanup and the rebuild in the weeks and months to come back to you. steve: they have got their hands full janice thank you very much. brian: showing our versatility we can go to the right for janice and now to the left for carlie. reporter: got headlines to get to and we're going to start with this right here. a man files an assault charge after being tackled by a security officer outside a bernie sanders rally. >> sir you don't have to touch him. reporter: the officer pulling the man to the ground after knocking down his trump flag at virginia wesl yan university. the man says he was exercising his first amendment right and the school defended the officer saying unfortunately the video does not depict the actions of the individual that necessitated the officer to take action. >> new jersey troopers say the driver with seconds to spare stop what you're doing and watch this. >> go, go! are you all right? steve: just a little crazy all right, thank you. meanwhile president trump sound ing off, pushing back on democrats criticism of his response to the federal government response to the coronavirus. president trump: the democrats weaponize the virus against the trump adminitration and they weaponize anything we do. even though they have no facts or just say oh, we don't like the job they are doing but if you found a cure and everything disappeared within 24 hours they would say you did a terrible job ainsley: gop senator ted cruz chaired a foreign relations hearing examining how to stop the spread of the coronavirus and he joins us now, good morning. >> good morning, good to be with you. ainsley: good to be with you. how should we be responding when you read the headlines of facebook, the seattle office is shut down because someone tested positive and you have amazon cracking down on price gouging, you have surgical masks, the cruise ship linked to the virus death held off the coast of san francisco. people are getting scared what do we need to do? >> ted: this virus is serious and we need to treat it seriously. there are worldwide now over 95,000 confirmed cases with the virus. we have over 3,200 people who have died. now, the vast majority of those infections, the vast majority of those deaths have been in china. the spread to the united states is still relatively limited, as you noted i chaired a hearing yesterday with the center for disease control and with the border patrol and the department of transportation to talk about what steps are we taking to secure our borders, to screen people, and one of the things that we heard testimony from the doctors and the experts is that when the president froze civilian air travel to and from china and he did this at the beginning of the outbreak, that staff along with quarantining any americans coming back from the infected region, the two of those were unprecedented number one, but number two, played a major role in stopping the spread of the virus and as a consequence, we have slightly over 100 cases in the united states, that's far too many. we have 11 fatalities in the united states, that's far too many, but had the president not acted swiftly at the outset, the testimony we heard yesterday is that those numbers in the u.s. would have been much much higher. we need to keep doing everything possible to stop the spread of the disease but we also shouldn't give in the panic or histeria, we should be driven by facts and medical science. steve: exactly and that's why its been so helpful that the administration late in the day, a number of days, has produced some of the speakers regarding it to give us the very latest update. meanwhile, senator it sounds like mitch mcconnell today may have strong words on the floor toward the minority leader chuck schumer. we've got some tape of mr. schumer yesterday in front of the supreme court and by name , it sounds like he's threatening two supreme court justices over an abortion case that they were hearing yesterday listen to this. >> i want to tell you, gorsuch, i want to tell you kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. >> [applause] steve: so you will pay the price , and his spokesperson came out later and said they were just talking about really senate republicans, not those too. that seems crazy, crazy spin. >> ted: well look, it's obviously the spokesperson is trying to dig chuck schumer out of the hole he dug for himself. you heard the word schumer said there, he said i want to tell you, gorsuch, i want to tell you kavanaugh. he wasn't talking to senate republicans he was talking to those two justices threatening them quite directly. you will reep the whirlwind, you will pay the price. that is an unambiguous threat and now whether it's a threat of political retribution, or something even worse, that's not clear, but whatever it is it's judicial intimidation, it's not right. it is unacceptable and i think chuck schumer should apologize. by the way his spokesperson that put out the deliberate lie that he was talking to senate republicans, his spokesperson should apologize to lying to people too, and i'll tell you i think the senate should seriously consider taking disciplinary steps when you have the leader of one of the two parties going to the steps of the supreme court, threatening and trying to intimidate supreme court justices, that undermines the rule of law and undermines the judiciary and it's just flat out wrong. ainsley: well what will the punishment be? >> one of the possibilities being debatedemocrats have been getting worse and worse and we saw last year, senator white house led a letter of a bunch of senators threatening to pack the court to try to add additional justices to the court , if the justices didn't rule the way he wanted to in a second amendment case. he wants them to gut the second amendment, chuck schumer wants the supreme court to uphold unlimited abortion on demand in every circumstance with no limitations whatsoever. both of those are extreme positions, but where senate democrats are right now, they are so angry that they're willing to try to get what they want through threats and through really naked intimidation. steve: it's really something we've been talking about this morning senator ted cruz from the great state of texas thank you very much for joining us today. >> it's great to be with you. steve: we're going to step aside we'll be back in two minutes.
