>> i hold of a 7-year-old who choked to death. i saw the gurney and i saw my 7-year-old. i had taken the course. didn't always work. i need something super simple place push pull life is good. efa is how this came about. equal first aid. kids with disability have no choice. no option. >> ainsley: arthur, when we buy this make sure we get a lifevac. knock offs made in china. have you been embattled with them to try get amazon not to sell it. saying nothing we can do another country but you have a patent on. this do i doesn't matter. >> ainsley: buy american, all made in american and lifevac. >> steve: go lifevac.net. arthur, thank you very much. you have saved over 1,000 lives amazing. >> brian: put in your school and tax i.d. number and send it to you. >> we have got to stop it. i want one year no kid dies in school. >> ainsley: if you are a school, try to get the 60 bucks from a parent so he doesn't go broke. >> i would appreciate that, folks. >> ainsley: you said i will go broke, i have been broke before. >> mac and cheese is good, i love it. >> brian: second hour of "fox & friends" starts now. >> why does the white house staff treat him like a baby. >> no one treats the president of the united states, commander-in-chief like a baby. >> 73% of americans think joe biden is too old to run for re-election and the white house isn't quite sure how to spin it. >> he will be arrested and charged. >> disturbing new footage. a man seen beating a 60-year-old woman inside a new york city subway station for over two minutes. >> this type of violence is being perpetuated by the defund and the incarceration movement. >> if ever there was a time parents feel like parental rights being taken away it's now. >> nikki haley hosts a moms for liberty crucial time for parents' rights. >> it's not being extremist. it's being a parent. >> 12 migrant bus to l.a. as the city may seek legal action despite approving sanctuary city status. >> in new york thousands of migrant children receive exceptions to vaccination rules. >> the ousted mayor of chicago, llori lightfoot, is now teaching students at harvard how to deal with media. >> a lot of issues with the press during her tenure as mayor. >> people once again, i ask y you -- >> steve: all right. it is 7:03 on the east on this wednesday, september 6th, 2023. and we start this hour of "fox & friends" with this: the nfl season officially kicks off tomorrow night and president biden is diving into his own political playbook launching campaign ad blitz for his re-election. here is a snippet. >> today inflation down 3%. unemployment lowest in decades. there is more to do. president biden is getting results that matter. >> brian: yep. biden is targeting key battleground states. airing that ad in georgia, arizona, pennsylvania, wisconsin, nevada and michigan as the detroit lions take on the kansas city chief thursday night should be a good game. >> the president once again touting economic wins despite a fox news poll revealing 52% of voters feel biden has made the economy worse instead of better. there was that poll where he is neck and neck with donald trump. then they announce this $25 million campaign ad. >> steve: that's right. with that "wall street journal" ad, rather the poll, you know, talking about how he is under water on the economy, that's why, naturally, the white house is coming out with an ad that they are going to run all over the place. going to do a lot of streaming this time. a lot of dignity stuff this time. trying to show joe biden despite what his critics say have done a lot for the economy. in the ad they say that he has fixed supply chains. he is fighting corporate greed. he is passing laws to cost of medicine a bunch of stuff to make him look good. they can talk about the economy because they can do something about the economy. they can't do anything about his age. fixed number and getting bigger every day. new book out came out yesterday the last politician by franklin foer and in it talks about apparently the guy had unparalleled access. >> ainsley: for two years. >> steve: he talked to people who had been with joe biden for decades. his inner circle of advisers. one of the passages was asked about with our white house correspondent yesterday, it made a lot of headlines but it's absolutely true and nobody has walked this back yet from the white house. here is peter doocy and the question and kind of an answer. >> president biden is the oldest president in u.s. history, why does white house staff treat him like a baby? >> no one treats the president the united states, the commander-in-chief, like a baby. >> steve: there is this book that says -- >> -- that's ridiculous. that's a ridiculous claim. >> what sounded like regime change in russia the president, quote: rather than owning his failure he fumes to friends but how he was treated like a toddler. >> we did see the excerpt. the context of the excerpt and it seems to be making the opposite overall point about how the value of his experience and wisdom resulted in rallying the free world against authoritarianism, which is important. we have seen. this y'all have seen this. and passage of the most historic agenda in recent history and his handling of foreign policy. >> steve: she didn't answer the question. the passage is all about how joe biden said putin essentially regime change had guy can't remain in power and so the white house immediately tried to mop it up and joe biden said, look, you know, they are babying me. no one babied i don't know f. kennedy. >> ainsley: same guy wrote the book who yesterday talking about i wouldn't be shocked. he was on one of the sunday shows i would not be shocked if they choose a different candidate if joe biden doesn't make it to the final round. >> brian: he was asked directly about that. look, i expect to run again, i wouldn't be shocked because of his age. you saw him yesterday on the stage not know when to do after he gave someone a medal. >> ainsley: oh my gosh. >> brian: he just left. >> ainsley: left the stage, left the man the veteran on the stage. he was tearful. >> brian: it's not even his age. it's the way he acts. he looks beyond his age. it's every 80-year-old. in terms of what is he going to do during the nfl game. i think it's kind of interesting. you mentioned that he can't do anything about the economy. he can do something about the economy. not really. people are making their own decisions about the economy. and they are realizing that bidenomics is not a message that works. the other thing that they're realizing, too, this is him just leaving the stage yesterday and the ceremony is not even done yet. >> ainsley: hasn't even begun. let's start with the benediction. >> brian: it's insane. on top of that you have donald trump going to iowa. iowa state. and is he going to got college game and he is going to go to the west point game. the president is going to go somewhere else. he is going to tap into a legitimate football game with the former president of the united states is going to go to the army-navy game which is going to be pretty impressive. for joe biden, his problem is, this is the best he can do. and if he has to actually campaign now that labor day is over he has to campaign, this is going to be scary for him. only hope donald trump to be stuck in a courtroom. i can see trump even rallying at night. >> ainsley: two thirds of the democrats in that "wall street journal" poll. it was the "wall street journal," right? said they think he is too old. two thirds of the democrats. >> steve: that's the age thing. going back to why they are talking about all about the economy. the ad ends where they say that inflation is down to 3% and unemployment is the lowest in decades. so the white house is looking at the numbers and these are the best numbers they have got and just doesn't feel like the numbers are that good. meanwhile stephen a. smith was on with sean last night and talked a little bit about the age thing. you know, the white house, every time you ask them about the age, they talk about something else. here he is talking to sean about a guy that old in this jock. >> in the case of biden clearly he doesn't seem to be as cogent and lucid as we would like him to be. my bigger point was this: it is a disgrace for the democratic party to call themselves progressives when they're virtually begging an 28-year-old man at election time to run for re-election. that is the point that i was making. you are supposed to be progressive, right? supposed to be moving forward. supposed to be thinking forward. supposed to being innovative and younger and all this other stuff and you are leaning on the hopes and the prayers of an 28-year-old who would be joe biden, 80, he will be 81. he will be 82 at the time of re-election if that were to happen, to depend on him is an indictment against the democratic party. >> brian: with these blatant lies look what he is doing to the deficit. the deficit has doubled. meanwhile we are supposed -- we have low job numbers. we are growing at 2%. >> ainsley: interest rate. >> brian: interest rates we are paying now on the debt equal the defense budget. so to sit up there on stage and say the jobs numbers, unemployment okay. if you want to say we are growing 2%. okay. you can't just go out and say you are cutting the deficit when it's doubled. economists say in our history we have never had a situation where the economy is growing and our deficit is doubling. they can't quite figure it out. i will tell you figure it out, the spending bills that he passed. the rescue package, the inflation reduction act. what he has done in between. these are all spending programs that are being spent right now. money we are spending growing at 7%. our revenue is at 4%. >> ainsley: also facing immigration issue. article in axios, this issue is pitting democrats against each other. the title is blue state migrant crisis sparks political disaster for biden. it talks about tensions within the biden administration versus the local democrats, how it's all coming to a head because these shelters are overflowing. and it says business leaders and lawmakers at various levels of government are demanding the administration do more to help accommodate migrants and are frustrated by what they say is biden's lack of responds. it quotes dick durbin saying it's unclear why there hasn't been stronger action by the biden administration. he says i wrote him back in may. so it's been like four months. i hope to find out. >> steve: sure, absolutely. when the president is from your party, you would expect the people down ballot to be celebrating all the good stuff. but, unfortunately, because of the migrant problem that we have been talking about. >> brian: that they caused. >> steve: on this program for a very long time. suddenly all these blue cities run by democrats are being, you know, look at the problems here in new york city. we were just talking with a mom who is vice president of the school board about how they are waiving the rules. every kid in a new york city school is supposed to be vaccinated for a whole bunch of stuff. and they are waiving the rules. ultimately, the mayors want more from the state. and the governors want more from joe biden. you know what? do you know what they need to do? these cities, these states need to declare a state of emergency they not only would get a lot of attention but they would probably wind up with cash which is what they need. right now here in new york city, it's costing us tenses of millions of dollars a day to house these migrants who are in the country, got into the country that is to say illegally. >> brian: everyone is making money and it's costing us millions that we don't have. every city is over budget. especially new york city. we got 84,000 still here. we have over 200 sites. it's all because of this president. he is making no effort to close down the border. what he did with getting rid of title 2 temporarily dipped the numbers. enough to flying up to 7,000. we are seeing it on a regular basis. and the problem is when you are a sanctuary city, that has a right to shelter, and you brag the fact that we're a nation of immigrants, come one, come all, well, they came, they have arrived and the guy who sent them is not taking your call. all your fault. all your problem. and i just hope the voters in these cities will look at the people that made this mess, that's costing you this money, that's costing your kids grade point averages in school among other things and are littering your streets with people that don't belong here from other nations that sent them here, and the cartels that are making money off it along with the drugs coming with it. when you see, this understand who is to fault. that's the one thing balance out as we all know what happened in new york when governor zeldin tried to be governor. he got close. what he did was brought the whole republican party with him and out to vote. this issue could bring republicans out to the ballot. >> ainsley: ains greg adams the our mayor here apparently the relationship is deteriorating with our governor kathy hochul. he wants migrants to spread throughout the state. she is refusing to do it. governor abbott shipping or busing them around the country to be sanctuary cities he was bragging about it because he said it has been very effective. it's relief for texas border towns. texas has bused over 35,000 migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities over 11,300 to d.c. over 3,000 new york city. 6700 to chicago. a thousand to denver buss mission provides, sure, ainsley, as we look at that graphic right there 13,000 were bussed to new york city. why is it that this mayor blames greg abbott for 100,000? >> brian: coming on their own. they are coming on their own he is saying greg abbott bused 100,000 when it's really 13,000? >> steve: blaming greg abbott for the migrant crisis. we were talking a little bit ago how this city is waiving the requirement kids go to the bulb schools, you got to get all those vaccines, not anymore, if you are a migrant, you got 30 day here is a mom outraged. >> the chancellor didn't give us any specifics how they are going to monitor the situation. what are going to be the consequences of children who do not have their immunization complete after 30 days? and this rule, this grace period of 30 days was meant for refugees who come here and it was always in very small numbers, right? so the u.s. has never granted more than 45,000 asylum seekers for the entire country. just now in new york city, we have over 100,000 the last year and 20,000 children in our public schools thages are chancellor said okay. at this point to be okay. it has not felt okay for parents and school staff one of the other things she said remember a year or two ago when vaccinated parents barred from going into the school. a parent can't go in. what are they doing? they're bringing tens of thousands of children into the school who have no vaccination status. she was talking about how last year they had chicken pox sweep through the school. how many of those kids have been vaccinated against chicken pox. we don't know. >> polio and all this stuff. the standard thing you have to give to kids. forget about covid-19. so the other thing to keep in mind is when those kids come to school and probably good kids cute as hell third to seventh grade. they go to school a lot of them don't speak english. resources that taken away from your kid special need or learn to improve. kids don't belong here they came here illegitimate purposes don't belong here are going to take time away. when you talk about a handful of kids. it's not a handful. in new york city 19,000. what are we going to do with 19,000 extra kids and petitioning to get them into charter schools which is insane. these new yorkers right now can't get into charter schools competition so great. kids from venezuela, ecuador and uzbekistan in there? does that make sense to any human being? >> steve: it will be interesting to see if after this 30 day grace period if the kids don't get the shots, will they take the kids out of the schools? the answer is no. it's mind blowing who is in favor of this 50% of the country. our country is divided 50%. >> brian: day care is provided to illegal immigrant families. do you believe this? >> ainsley: doesn't shock anyone. >> brian: crazy. >> ainsley: meanwhile how much do you pay for day care. they don't pay but, yet, moms and dads what was the average 800. i think the average is like $850 a month for day care. >> brian: does the government do your laundry? >> ainsley: chris, what do you pay for day care a month? >> 1700 a month. >> steve: 1700 a month. >> ainsley: for three years. >> steve: holy cow, you are making a lot of money? >> i'm working a lot of overtime. >> ainsley: going without. >> brian: how about a surveillance camera and just watch on iphone when you go. >> ainsley: illegal. he will be arrested. >> steve: i'm for homeschooling. chris, thank you very much. voice off camera. time for news with carley anthony blinken arriving in kyiv for meetings with top ukrainian officials. >> i'm here first and foremost to demonstrate our ongoing and support for ukraine as it deals with this ayes. aaaggression.we want to make sut it needs on the counteroffensive but what it needs for the long term. >> according to state department official blinken is expected to announce more than a billion dollars for funding in ukraine. the kremlin, rather, responding to the visit saying, quote: they are essentially going to continue to keep ukraine in a state of war and to wage and continue this war in the last ukrainian without sparing any money for it. that is rich coming from them. former chicago mayor lori lightfoot started her tenure at harvard last week. she is teaching a graduate level course called health policy and leadership. lightfoot plans to teach students how to quote run a city and deal with the media during a crisis. speaking after her first lecture, lightfoot said kids told her they wanted to learn from her because she had been, quote: in the trench and those are your headlines, guys. >> steve: couldn't harvard find somebody who was a successful mayor? >> carley: i believe that mayor de blasio also taught this course a couple years ago you can see the trend. >> steve: can i connect those dots. thank you, carley. >> carley: you are very welcome. >> brian: soft landing for her. mass mania making a comeback as elementary school in maryland reinstates it. moms for liberty founder how they are pushing back. >> ainsley: i threw away all my masks. are we going to have to buy more of them? no. cops quitting and criminals winning in filly. why their police commissioner just stepped down. >> steve: you're going to want to hear that first, schools shut down again as the manhunt continues for escaped pennsylvania inmate. we will talk to a local mayor coming up next right here on "fox & friends." ♪ i suffer with psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. i was on a journey for a really long time to find some relief. cosentyx works for me. cosentyx helps real people get real relief from the symptoms of psoriatic arthritis or psoriasis. serious allergic reactions and an increased risk of infections or lowered ability to fight them may occur. tell your doctor if you have an infection or symptoms, had a vaccine or plan to or if ibd symptoms develop or worsen. i move so much better because of cosentyx. ask your rheumatologist about cosentyx. i'm orlando and i'm living with hiv. i don't have to worry about daily hiv pills because i switched to every-other-month cabenuva. for adults who are undetectable, cabenuva is the only complete long-acting hiv treatment you can get every other month. it's two injections from a healthcare provider. now when i have people over, hiv pills aren't on my mind. don't receive cabenuv
