>> well, they like controlling communication, so twitter is the social media giant that buried the hunter biden laptop story, talk about national security reviews, that's one they should maybe review instead. then the mainstream media outlets didn't cover it, so twitter saved the presidential campaign. between the white house and green left, elon musk is interesting to me. he owns tesla, has 68% market share of electric vehicles in america. they are doing what joe biden claims he wants to do, big transition to electric vehicles. he has lead the way. but because he doesn't do exactly what the white house wants, his workers are not unionized, the white house froze him out of any kind of celebrations. last summer did a big electric vehicle event at the white house, did not invite elon musk, even though he is dominating in the electric vehicle market, he is too unwieldy for them. they maybe like his green agenda but don't like the idea that he is outspoken, wants to own one of the major communication outlets with free speech in this country, they're using the power of government like they always do to go after people they deem a threat politically. >> jeanine: jesse, the officials haven't identified what tools they're using for reviews, but one of the things they're objecting to, apparently elon musk has some investment from foreign funders, such as a prince in saudi arabia, and apparently he said something positive about medvedev, putin's predecessor, so they're all out of shape over that. >> jesse: if they want to kill it, they can kill it. they're mad for two reasons. he is disloyal. obama biden gave musk billions to get this off the ground. took the money, he is richest man in the world but not a democrat any more. he is also too powerful for them. if he had been in charge of twitter during the last election, joe biden never would have gotten elected. usually billionaires play within the system, but he is trying to disrupt the system, so he put a whole target on his back. if you disrupt the system, the system comes at you hard. they came after trump, roguan, howard stern, going after the tea party, they will go after him with everything. they tried me too. they'll look into his taxes, the fbi will look into him, justice department will find some environmental thing to get him. it doesn't matter. they'll have banks deplatforming. they'll use anything to get him down. that's the mc.o. and the right has to make a decision. when the right gets back, are they going to fight fire with fire. i know the republican philosophy, you don't use the government against your political enemies, it is small government, but you get abused like this, they have to make a choice. >> jeanine: what's happening, harold, apparently musk tweeted that he threatened to stop providing free starlink in the ukraine and access to ukrainian military due to not making profit there. he then rescinded that threat a week later saying he would uphold the offer, by all the money the country is receiving from the united states. what was that all about. >> i don't know. i do know this. i think elon musk and steve jobs, i am 52 years old, steve jobs was older than me, they're the two great -- bill gates is part of this. you look at the entrepreneur, the vision, the ability to execute on their vision, they're unbelievable. that doesn't make him god, make him perfect, he is brilliant. i think if the white house believes there should be a cfius investigation into starlink, starlink has a relationship with department of defense, do a lot of work for us as taxpayers and american citizens. if they allow him to do that work and he didn't have a cfius review, i don't understand what the issue is now. >> jeanine: what does that tell you? >> either they discovered something, i don't think cynically or critically, they have to share those things. i assume musk's lawyers would ask those questions. one person on twitter, i don't know how to talk about twitter, a person on twitter said wouldn't it be amazing or hysterical if the biden white house stepped in and allowed him not to buy twitter. it is an interesting thing. i am interested in cfius. that's normally when a foreign company is trying to buy to a u.s. company here. if there's something they have, they should share it and at least allow us to understand what the predicate is for this kind of investigation. >> jeanine: you admit you're curious if not skeptical?
