both of those are good. i think the most disappointing part of this bill is that it does not do anything meaningful to secure the border. this was an opportunity to take a serious step forward on the border and, unfortunately, the democrat party position is they support open borders. they're unwilling to do anything on border security. as for the ukraine funding, i think this got more focus than the democrat bill, the ukraine funding. of the $48 billion, roughly $35 billion of it is directed to the u.s. military. i think that's, that is a good thing -- maria: okay. yeah. >> and a portion of it is also structured as a loan. that is a good thing. i wish this were directed at only military aid and not economic aid. unfortunately, there's about $10 billion of economic aid as a forgivable loan. i'm not a fan of that, but i am a fan of, as i said, the israel and tiktok portions of the bill. maria: well, you're right, i mean, joe biden could just or forgive the loan. it's a loan, but it's a
