they used to. he is not. he says that up until the midterms, we have been back and forth. actually they had momentum in june after they overturn roe versus wade. they lost four points last month. they lost their mojo. he says the polls are over or over the place. another not. gop nationally is five points ahead of a generic democrat anywhere in the country right now as of today. he says oh, one more shift to our side, and that will happen before election day. we can't predict the future, but i can tell you he will be in rehobeth, he will be in delaware during crunch time the next few days and the kingmaker in the party, barack obama will be upstaging him. i don't know who he thinks is going to turn things around, but if it happens, it won't be him. again i think that's what we call think over 5 million americans in places including like georgia. record numbers on track to outpace the 2020 midterms. but we don't know how they're voting. we don't want to gloss it over. it's irresponsible and just unfathomable that somebody would say elections aren't a referendum. they can be. of course are going to say that because they don't want to get graded on their economy they want to make it about the economy that you might prefer. i like the one that is winning, i like the one that has cheaper gas. but it is a choice. there are two people on the ballot. >> if you understand them wanting him to be a choice. also just with prescription drugs, different argument, the point is, every poll put this out, every single one, new york times every single one. shift a republican, shift to republican. we know the generic ballot always underestimates republican. >> 53 under. and they were pulling hired earth and joe biden was at this point come as you can imagine what it will be like in the house for it in the senate, that clear politics projection is 47 democrat momentum clearly in the republican paper. it is the messaging i think that bothers so many americans. when you hear the president just before last hour he tripled down on insisting that the economy is strong as well. he also said that gas prices are down sharply. what was that he said, nearly four dollars now. they are down sharply from an all-time high, it's purposely misleading. he also blames what he inherited when he came into office the economy was on an upswing coming out of covid. he also claims the gop wants to send jobs overseas. this is incredible. and then who is poll testing in the white house these days? mega mega triple down? that's how effective they were, that's the point. it's just silly talk when you talk like that. mega maga trickle down. >> if you would just keep quit saying it's getting better, gas prices are falling, inflation is deadly, if you just said i feel your pain, do all sorts of things. anyway, his office conducted an investigation and exonerated him. now efforts are underway to impeach them as critics claim the policies for those cities spiraling crime crisis. krasner responded today with his own reasons for the crime wave. none of which have anything to do with him. >> right now, in a superheated election cycle, where part of the republican playbook is to point a figure at large diverse cities and state large diverse cities are lawless. what we see here is the same old playbook which is about coded and racist messaging. it's about blaming the biggest cd in pennsylvania with the biggest population for having the same national struggle we have with gun violence everywhere. and evening increases that are less than the committees signed on to defund the police, but many of them have. to get most of them didn't. joe biden very notably did not. >> he did, but he's also past more funding for police across the country so we should give him credit for that. you talking about the organ race. it has a little further ahead, but when it comes to philadelphia and the requester, there are some politics at work here. he said i will testify in an open impeachment hearing publicly. the republicans trying to impeach him say we are going to do that privately. they knew the new suspect was exonerated because the criminal justice system gave him an unfair trial. there is not one reason this crime is happening which is awful. >> i wonder if we don't pick the -isms as a society that benefit the person trying to make that argument the most. i think you would have to, then how did he end up killing somebody? you know what i mean? he was already in the system. he had all this but in that one time that racism may have played a role. >> i think those issues are all over the problems we continue to have in this country and i think a lot of the language that is used on this issue is incredibly coded. i think the criminal justice system, if we have a system or not everyone goes to jail forever, where it not everyone gets the death penalty, how do you get to a place where people can be released from prison at the end of their sentences and not go on to recommit. that is a bigger question. >> it is a bigger question and i wish some of the liberal das were asking that question in answering it honestly. >> is to trust people who work for him. elon musk owns tesla, space x, he is literally sending people to space and i think twitter is going to be the biggest headache for him out of all of his companies. forget you might have an internal investigation. there was some reporting from i believe bloomberg that one of the elements the biden administration may be looking at is twitter and see if he is, but basically foreign investors that our part of this deal and they may be scrutinizing this twitter deal. i personally don't have great confidence in the biden administration. >> i think these are
