Than 840 people have been killed by this monstrous storm, including one in florida. More than half a million homes in florida are without power. More than 4500 flights have been canceled through saturday and evacuation orders remain in place for two Million People in florida, georgia and south carolina. Authorities are urging people to leave these areas. The storm is barrelling towards georgia and the carolinas as we speak. President obama reminding americans that theyve got to remain vigilant. This is still a really dangerous hurricane. If they tell you to evacuate, you need to get out of there and move to higher ground. We can always replace property, but we cant replace lives. Trish theres also a hesitancy when there are events from People Living in these areas because they dont want to get out or figure i got out in the last hurricane and nothing happened. I would have been so much better off, it would have been easier to stay put, but once again the warning coming from the president as well as from the governors of the states. They want people to evacuate, were going to hear as much from governor rick scott as he gives update any minute now. We have you covered throughout the entire hour from the path of the storm to major destruction it has left behind. First i want to go to adam shapiro in Daytona Beach where theyre dealing with the powerful winds. Adam, whats it like there . Reporter im glad you used that term powerful winds. It is extremely windy right now. The rain subside but the winds that are so strong, ey calmed down for a few minutes and pick up again. Those are the huge bands of the hurricane. Those bands are swinging around but according to the National Oceanic and atmospheric administration, the Hurricane Center, essentially, the eye of the storm has moved north slightly of Daytona Beach, fort orange, thats a good sign. What is a bad sign, i want to show you something, trish, ive been showing people throughout the day, this is one part of a roof. These are the shingles off the building we are seeking shelter. You cant see it, perhaps but the entire parking lot is covered with this stuff, and from the second floor of the building, this building is going to have to be replaced. As you look at buildings around here, gutters torn off, roof shingles torn off. This is the thing you expect with a category 3 storm. The category 4 storm, the Hurricane Center said was catastrophic, that is not what hit here. It was a category 3, but it is still a dangerous storm because of these winds. Electricity is out as you said. 600,000 plus people in the state of florida. Governor scott had a briefing two hours ago, hes going to do another briefing momentarily. In this part of florida, theyre breathing what you say is a sigh of relief because the storm surge, the 711foot storm surge doesnt appear to have happened. We had high tide at 12 00 noon, while there was elevation of the water, one measurement was four feet, not 11 feet. Not out of the woods yet, i know it doesnt look as if this is better. This is a lot better than when i was on air with Stuart Varney early this morning. It is hitting hard. Trish let me ask you, for the viewers who are tuning in every day, and i hope you tune in every day. We saw you on the beach in daytona saying it was necessary for everyone to evacuate and you told us all you were going to evacuate and yet we see you smackdab in daytona today. Where did you go last night . We evacuated. The beach is a half mile that way over bridge. The reason they were having people evacuate. You see the wind . This is 40 mileperhour wind, and they have the cause ways, when they go up this high up, when the winds are strong or stronger, it is not safe for a vehicle or truck to go over the cause ways. We were on the mainland to a hodel. We were able to get into a hotel and hunker down for the night along with people who evacuated from the beach. Vacancy hard to get. There are people who rode this out on the beach, and the woman who died, the 58yearold woman, she was not on a Barrier Island. She had a heart attack and the storm was so strong, the emergency crews according to the Hurricane Center were unable to get to her. Thats why they tell people evacuate if you can. Its one to get the emergency crews within a striking distance if you need help. But two, the storm surge if higher could have been a lot worse for a lot of people. Trish absolutely. Were glad you are safe and thanks for giving us the update. Thank you so much, adam shapiro. Now to folly beach, south carolina, where we find jonathan siry. Wow conditions are bad in the past few minutes. You can see heavy surf pounding the beach. The water is back out there by the pier but earlier pounding the edge of the Hotel Property here. Manager telling us this only happens when theres a major storm out at sea, which is certainly what theyre expecting in this case. Take a look at this drone video that we shot earlier today. Cant put up the drone now because its raining. Before the rain started we were able to fly the drone and you can get an idea of the pounding surf on the Barrier Island of folly beach. Barrier islands off the coast of charleston are a major concern during the storm because they are susceptible to heavy flooding during storm surge. Forecasters say worst Case Scenario you could see storm surges in excess of 8 feet in the island communities. So the governor says that this is one of her High Priorities getting people to evacuate, and earlier today she made a lastminute appeal. Take a listen. There is nothing safe about whats getting ready to happen. This is the last time you will hear my voice, when im asking to you evacuate. We need everybody to consider evacuating and really take this very seriously. Reporter so far, 310,000 south carolinans have evacuated homes in lowlying areas. More than 2800 are staying in emergency shelters. Trish, back to you. Trish okay, wow, jonathan, thank you very much. Hurricane matthew barreling towards georgia as we speak. Its expected to slam the state in a couple of hours. I want to go to foxs caroline cheesely in savannah with more of this. Caroline . Reporter hi there, trish, just like jonathan nearby in, we have seen much deterioration, it has gone downhill rapidly. We are told by local officials, expected to get much worse throughout the afternoon hours. Until Hurricane Matthew is over, sometime after 8 00 p. M. , in the overnight hours, should be the roughest for us here, and that is bad news. Were very vulnerable to storm surge. We are looking at the river behind us. It is about to overtop the river wall. I spoke to a 20year resident, hes never seen it this high. This place has not seen a hurricane since 1979. A hurricane that dissipated almost immediately. Nothing like the strong beast headed for us now. Many have evacuated. A steady drumbeat from local officials saying get out, get out now. The last of the evacuation buses left two hours ago, they flipped around the interstate so everybody can go out. Were losing time. If youre still here, local officials want you out as quickly as possible. If you have to hunker down do so with the knowledge Emergency Responders may not get to you tonight if something goes wrong. Trish . Trish caroline shively, thank you very much. Florida governor rick scott is rejecting the Clinton Campaigns request to extend the states Voter Registration deadline on tuesday. So this is having some effect. Matthew having effect on the race. Also affecting the race, vote by mail ballots arriving just as residents were evacuated and half of florida voters cast ballots early. Meanwhile both donald trump and Hillary Clinton are hunkered down in new york using most of the day to prep for the town hallstyle format thats happening in st. Louis. The debate sunday night. Last night donald trump practiced his skills a bit trying to hone them at a town hallstyle Campaign Event in New Hampshire, but dismissed the notion that it was a dry run and mocked Hillary Clinton in the process. Watch. Forget debate prep. Give me a break. Do you think Hillary Clinton is debate prepping for three or four days. Hillary clinton is resting, okay . Shes resting. She wants to build up her energy for sunday night. And you know what . Thats fine. The narrative is so foolish. Trish will he be able to recapture momentum after a rocky first debate and will the first town hall format where audience members get on ask a question be to his advantage . Joining me, the man who hosted last nights event, radio host howie carr, good to see you again. Good to see you. Trish tell me overall his performance last night . He said it wasnt a dry run, not a dress rehearsal. I think it obviously was. He brought Chris Christie with him, the governor of new jersey. He was the candidate among the republicans, all the candidates who did the most town hall forums during the New Hampshire primary, and i think Chris Christie was standing off to the side. Trish taking notes . Exactly. Exactly. And, you know, he was pretty good. I mean, i didnt know they had one of the clocks, countdown clock on the floor, and i wasnt sure whether he was going to pay any attention to it or not. He said he didnt really care if he had a time limit or not, but he came right over, as soon as the forum started and he was looking at the clock all through it. I think he was trying to be you know, hone his performance, you know. I think its a little different with the town hall forums. You have to address the person whos asking the question. We didnt have any hand mics or anything like that to use. I had to read the question, he looked directly into the eyes of the people who were asking the questions, and you got to learn to move around the stage, too. And he wasnt doing as much of that. I think christie was instructing him. Trish given what you saw last night, what does it mean for sunday . Of course sunday, well start our debate coverage on fox business, were going to kick it off at 6 00 p. M. , neil, lou, myself will all be there. Howie, what is it that he benefits from, in that kind of forum, do you think, versus what we saw last time . I think what hell try to be doing is making direct contact with the voters and who are asking the questions and addressing the larger number of people. The millions who will be watching it. If you have a question about, say, the economy, hell be trying to speak to you. So will Hillary Clinton, of course. Its not a bad venue for him, i dont think. Hes pretty good one on one. You know, hes shown it on tv as a host of the show and a businessman. I think hell do okay. You know, im concerned about the two moderators. Again, a fair shot. Trish weve seen in a number of debates, donald trump get treatment that doesnt strike people as especially fair compared to how opponent is treated. Certainly thats an issue that could come up again, in your view . Well, you know, i mean Martha Radditz from abc and Anderson Cooper from cnn, they have a record of its out all over the internet. Their statement, their prohillary statements over the years. All he can ask is for them to be somewhat unbiased. Theres a line going around the internet. Three on one is democrat fun, and thats a problem. This is the forum where mitt romney got mugged, basically, in 2012, by candy crowley. It was the same town hall forum, venue. Trish you got to be careful. Hopefully hell be on alert for that, because you know what . I think he will be. Trish to a certain extent, i said this last time. You got to prepare for that because as a republican running, youre always going to be subject to greater scrutiny and some bias from the media. Exactly. Exactly. I think trish, its really important, and im sure that Chris Christie and Kellyanne Conway are telling him, you cant take the bait. You got to take the high road and just dont you know, when they poke at you, just dont take it. Trish agreed. Howie, nice job last night you from. In my home state, by the way. Love it. Thank you. Thank you, trish, i appreciate that. I didnt know you were from New Hampshire. Trish yeah, yeah, born and raised. Howie carr, everyone. Thank you so much. Thank you. Trish the markets, well, just down a little touch there, basically flat there on the dow as we head into the weekend. You know this amid news we got the jobs number today which showed the economy added fewer jobs than expected in september. Were chugging along here and adding not losing jobs but its not good, proving that the job market is a challenge right now. Weve got that for you along with the latest on the british pound flash crash. Thats right after this. Are you on medicare . Do you have the coverage you need . Open enrollment ends december 7th. Trish wow, take a look at that, everyone. Downpour there, the winds. You can hear it. Looking at video just a short time ago from miami, florida where Hurricane Matthew barreled through with wind gusts up to 150 miles per hour. All right, right now i want to go to a picture thats coming to us right now live out of jacksonville, florida, where the storm is working its way up the coast towards georgia. Look at the visibility there. Its basically zilch, you cant see anything. Thats how the lack of visibility is right now in jacksonville, florida. And lets move onto south carolina, a picture there that we can show you there coming to us from savannah forgive me, this is savannah, georgia, where the storm is heading right now, and you can see the winds not too strong just yet, in the background, there the American Flag getting a few gusts but nothing like what its about to get with these wind gusts going up to 150 miles an hour, thanks to Hurricane Matthew. 600,000 people in the state of florida right now without power. You have two Million People overall being asked to evacuate these states as Hurricane Matthew plows through. Were going to continue to stay on this storm. A number of people have died, for example, in haiti, the death toll is expected to be upwards of 800 there. The deaths from Hurricane Matthew, including one in florida. Were waiting for a News Conference from Florida Governor rick scott. Well bring you that just as soon as it happens, so stay with us. We will be getting that update from the Florida Governor momentarily. But i want to move onto markets and the jobs report right now. You got stocks turning lower there. Not so much so but losses accelerated in the last couple of minutes, down 8 points on the heels of less than stellar u. S. Jobs report. The u. S. Economy adding far fewer jobs, the number of nonfarm payrolls, nonfarm jobs rose by 156,000 in the month of september. Thats 19,000 shy of the original wall street estimate of 175,000. I dont care if its 175 or 156, its not enough. We need, in order to grow this economy, between 300 and 400,000 jobs added every month and we are nowhere close, so will this disappointing employment number ease fears of Interest Rate hike before the end of the year . Our very own Ashley Webster standing by at the nyse with the latest. Its counterintuitive here, in some ways, these days, bad news on the economy is good news because people are saying, phew, janet yellen and the fed wont move the quarter point. Reporter it was not a particularly strong or solid report as some others have said, its not bad enough for the fed to change its mind. What was interesting was because of that sentiment here, we saw stocks sell off. Dow hitting a low, down 119 points at one point, i think it was generally considered that the chance of a december rate hike was that much greater. Up to 70 chance if you look at the fed funds futures. So the other belief is this is already baked in to be honest with you. Unless we had shockingly bad report which counterintuitively to use your expression would be better news because that would stop the fed from raising a. 25 or thereabouts in december. Thats not the case. Trish were looking at a slow growth job market. Yeah. Trish i want to get to the ipo market. Theyre talking about a 25 billion ipo for snapchat. I got to tell you. Look, that seems a little frothy to me here. Its a pretty cool company and all. But wow, ashley. I know, wow. Dont forget the young ceo, 23yearold evan spiegel in 2013 said to facebook, im not going to sell it for 3 billion. At the time we said youre all nuts. Well, hes 26 years old now, that much wiser. 25 billion valuation, its now called snap. Becomes to the market, perhaps to the journal next march, valuation around 25 billion. This year the Company Expected to make maybe 350 million for the year, but the estimates for next year, according to analysts for snap would be one billion. So maybe there is the value in there. So well have to wait and see. But its 150 million daily users. People love this particular product, trish. Trish yeah, i get it, its a cool product and all. The only thing i caution is the users can move to another platform should another one emerge, and weve seen the Tech Companies come out before. Twitter is one that has proven to be a failure in the public market, and facebook, which had a huge valuation suffered initially because people were having a hard time understanding the valuation. It has since recovered quite a bit. You got to celt wall Street Community and the reporting community on the valuation, and that will be their challenge in the months ahead. Ashley, good to see you, thank you. Same here, trish, thank you. Trish for more jobs report analysis, you watch liz clamans interview with labor secretary thomas perez today at 3 00 eastern. The Obama Administration is delaying thousands of deportations and learning that barely half the Illegal Immigrants who crossed our border with mexico were actually caught last year theyre only catching half the people. Our broken borders an issue thats gotten americans fed up with the government. So will donald trump be capitalizing on it in sundays debate . Were going to cover that and continuing to watch Hurricane Matthew. Governor rick scott of florida is going to come out with an update momentarily. Stay with us, as this thing barrels up the coast. Trish donald trump getting major endorsements on his signature issue, illegal immigration. Today he got support from more than 16,000memberwide National Border patrol council, this is the union that represents immigration and customs officers. The groups first endorsement of a president ial candidate ever, so its a big one. At the meeting donald trump said Border Patrol agents had been told to allow immigrants in so that they can vote. Immigration is to tied up with trying to get the people that are on the waiting list, hurry up and get them their immigration status why . So they can go ahead and vote before the election. And for us [inaudible] to do that im sure youre not going to write it. To me thats huge. Theyre letting people pour into the country so they can go and vote. Trish you know, he could be on to something. A new study today shows only about half of those illegally coming into the country from mexico were caught last year. And the New York Times is reporting the white house has been delaying deportations for some 56,000 illegals who have come here since 2014. Joining me right now is republican strategist Mercedes Schlapp and democratic strategist john rowley. Mercedes, starting with you. What do you think here . Do you think donald trump is on to something, and regardless is he on to something with voters in that this really catches their imagination, frustrates them and they want change when it comes to our broken borders . Well, sure. Trish, ive followed this immigration issue for years already, and there is a sense of frustration from our Border Agents and, i think, from the american voters. Clearly this is the Obama Administration who have, they have said the border is secure. Yet when you dig deeper, you start to realize and this is department of Homeland Security, they did not release this report. This report that the ap was able to get ahold of that basically said its half of these people that are not being caught and, secondly, the mere fact that obama is not deporting these individuals and you also have immigration cases at some points are not even being heard til 2023, that means close to seven years from now. It is clear that this is a broken system, that we cannot enforce our immigration laws. And it sends a signal to the rest of the world that, guess what . Americas open. You come in and you get to stay. Trish how can she counter that . How can she offer some sort of solution that will make americans feel our borders actually are secure . Well, i mean, a couple things. First of all, donald trump could not do anything to have less positive impact on his campaign than doing this today. I mean, if hillary had a press conference to announce bill is her husband, chelsea as her daughter, it would be about as persuasive as what hes doing. This is not reaching out to anybody he doesnt already have and, frankly, its kind of building a narrative thats working against him with a lot of people. Now, as it relates to the policy of the Obama Administration, theyve dramatically deported more people than the bush administration. The bushed administration, essentially, fined almost no businesses for hiring illegals and having illegals on their payroll trish okay, but youre going after bush. Sure. Well trish lets stick with Hillary Clinton and her solution for dealing with, because it i think shes already talked about it. Trish open up the borders and let more people in, john. Shes already talked about what shes going to do, and i think shes been very clear about it the whole time. Theres a huge contrast right now. You dont hear her doing a lot of immigration events. I dont think immigration is a deciding issue. I think its a little bit of a divisive issue. Shes focusing on some Different Things in the last 30 months or 30 days. And, frankly, i just think from a policy standpoint, i think hes dumb and wrong trish but it is an issue. Lets not be naive here. Mercedes, this is an issue and its, frankly, because of terrorism. Terrorism is an issue, and terrorism gets right back to this open border issue and whos coming in. Whos here . Do we even know whos here . And you remember the story that the department of Homeland Security granted citizenship to illegals, many who came from terrorist countries. We are talking about a government bureaucracy that is archaic and an administration that has decided to basically be blindsided and not necessarily focus on enforcing the laws thats just not accurate. And not getting rid of criminal aliens from this country. Youre wrong. And that is one thing trump has said. His priority is secure the border and insure criminals who came here illegally are deported. That is a priority trish and somehow thats seen as racist. John, thats a i dont understand the logic between that, that somehow the left is painting that school of thought as being, you know, discriminatory or racist when were saying, look, anybody who can come here legally is welcome to do so. Well, there are plenty of racist things hes said that have nothing to do with immigration. I think the problem with what hes talking about on immigration is its not a policy, its a fantasy. The wall will never happen. Its not going to happen. And so i would love for him to articulate in great detail what hes going to do, how hes going to do that and i think, frankly, going into the debate he really should have a more substantive policy discussion of immigration. That might actually help him. This endorsement today does zero for his trish all right. Well see what happens sunday night. Thank you so much, mercedes and john. Well see you guys again in a little bit. I do want to remind everyone, we are going to have coverage beginning at 6 p. M. On sunday. Im going to kick off the coverage about the debate. Here we are back in florida as we look at Hurricane Matthew just slamming into the coast right now. More than half a Million People, as ive been telling you, 600,000 actually, are without power, and there has been one death in florida due to the storm. Hundreds elsewhere. Haiti really, really getting hit badly. Weve got the very latest on Hurricane Matthew next. The pursuit of healthier. It begins from the second were born. Because, healthier doesnt happen all by itself. It needs to be earned every day. Using wellness to keep away illness. And believing a single life can be made better by millions of others. As a Health Services and Innovation Company optum powers modern healthcare by connecting every part of it. So while the world keeps searching for healthier were here to make healthier happen. Trish okay, here we go. Hurricane matthew slamming into florida right now. The category three storm expected to hit georgia in just a but hours. So for more on what we can all expect i want to go to fox meteorologist janice dean whos working overtime here tracking this storm for us at the weather center. And its a biggie. Hey, janice. Yep, this is the first category three weve had this close to the u. S. In ten years, trish. And the concern is now the storm surge. And what that is, is the push of water from these counterclockwise winds into the southeast coastline. So these vulnerable areas, jacksonville up towards brunswick, georgia, savannah, georgia, charleston, georgia. So 612 foot storm surge on top of high tide could be devastating for some of these areas, and the National Weather service is putting out warnings saying this could be like a Superstorm Sandy event for the southeast. So thats a big deal. Thats what were watching over the next couple of hours. But hurricaneforce winds at the very least as this storm brushed up against the coast of florida early this morning, and were thinking that a its going to maintain its category three strength, a major hurricane, at least for the next 612 hours and then perhaps come very close to charleston over, you know, over the weekend. Perhaps even making a landfall. And thats why the push of that water onshore is going to be the most dangerous impact from this storm yet. Then were going to watch it move offshore, and then the potential for the storm to recurve and maybe affect the southeast coast again. But i dont want to concentrate on that, lets get through the next 48 hours. Hurricane warnings in effect for 10 Million People stretching into north carolina, and and then that storm surge as i was mentioning, trish, this is what the national Hurricane Center says the is going to be the most dangerous part of this storm, is this wall of water that is coming onshore. Ive seen pictures out of st. Augustine already, florida, and water is up to the doorsteps now, up to their doorsteps in some cases and that could be upwards of 12 feet of heavy storm surge. Then were going to deal with the heavy rainfall and the hurricaneforce winds on top of that. In some areas we could see upwards of a foot of rain, and then that storm surge really is the most dangerous part of that which is going to happen in the next 2436 hours for the southeast coast. Trish oh, my gosh. This really is something. Thank you so much. Of course. Trish the wall street journal out with a bombshell report today that the Obama White House worked with the state department to limit the fallout and the scrutiny of Hillary Clinton and her email scandal. The white house asking the state department to kill any Media Questions to her sucking successor, john kerry successor, john kerry, about the email scandal. Why were they both working so hard to cover for mrs. Clinton . We are on this story next. You can run an errand. music playing push it real good. announcer vo or you can take a joyride. Bye bye, errands, we sing out loud here. Siriusxm. Road happy. On a perfect car, then smash it into a tree. Your Insurance Company raises your rates. Maybe you shouldve done more research on them. For drivers with accident forgiveness, Liberty Mutual wont raise your rates due to your first accident. Liberty mutual insurance. Due to your first accident. And the returns i get out, are measured in reps. Competition. Sometimes its audibles. Bright lights. Celebrations. Its huddles. Camaraderie. And games played. At Td Ameritrade we believe the best investments are the ones that matter most to you. announcer vo you can sit in traffic. Or you can crack up. man on radio but if it isnt refreshing. announcer vo sorry traffic, we laugh til it hurts. Siriusxm. Road happy. Trish all right. Lets check out these markets. You can see still pretty much trading flat. We had just momentarily well, we still are in positive territory. So for the moment anyway up almost a point. This is all coming amid todays jobs report, jobs being added not as many as had been anticipated but, you know, enough to show that the job market is recovering slightly. The reality is, its just not enough. All right, a look at shares of property insurers, because they have heavy exposure here to florida. Theyre rallying, actually, as investors lower their expectations for insurance losses resulting from Hurricane Matthew. So people thought it could have been worse, but we still dont know, as janice was just explaining. The storm surge is what you need to worry about. Were on it as well as the Hillary Clinton email scandal right after this. Trish new developments here in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. A new report shows the Obama Administration was in close contact with the Clinton Campaign when the story of her private server first broke back in 2015. Not that this necessarily should surprise anyone, but heres on record mow here it is on record now. Because emails obtained by the rnc showed the white house had coordinated with the clinton camp in terms of dealing with the whole situation and even expressed concern over the email scandals political fallout. Joining me right now Washington Examiner senior political analyst michael barone. You know, michael, this basically reinforces what everyone was worried about, that obama and his administration were so worried about their own behinds that they basically may have tried to diminish the importance of what actually happened there, michael . Well, theres no question they were trying to diminish the importance of what happened. Its not necessarily wrong for members of a white house staff to have contact with the staffers for a political campaign. The fact that they were obviously tilting towards Hillary Clinton is something that Bernie Sanders supporters were later quite unhappy about with respect to Democratic National chairman Debbie Wasserman schultz whos now exchairman. But whats important here is that the white house was misleading. They either failed to know the truth, they acted with reckless disregard of the truth, or they were acting to conceal the truth and knew what it was. You have the white house spokesman, jen psaki, referring with characteristic for her elegance to charges against clinton as a swirl of crap. And that, in fact, of course, Hillary Clinton as has been acknowledged since then was in violation of rules, did lie about it repeatedly. And here you have the white house helping to apparently coordinating with the Clinton Campaign to get secretary of state john kerry not to talk about the clinton emails, not to make statements about it. Etary andonsistent with the of state Department Spokesmen to confirm what now is obviously the truth, that Hillary Clinton violated the rules and conducted business and classified material on an email server which was illegal and vulnerable to hacking. Trish okay. So, michael, this once again gets back to the lack of indictment here. Do you think that the two are related . Basically, you have an administration that didnt want to effectively indict itself for its own problems. Well, an administration that did not want to indict one of its highest employees, and also as we know now president obama sent an email message to Hillary Clinton on her private email server and used a pseudonym which which suggests that he knew she was using a private email server and suggests that he knew that she shouldnt be using a private email server. Its also consistent with suppositions that you might reasonably come to when you ask why did the Justice Department not convene a grand jury to consider this, this case. The as Andrew Mccarthy has pointed out in National Review online, if a grand jury had been summoned, it wouldnt have been necessary even under the ruling, the reasoning that fbi director james comey gave to have issued immunity to top clinton aides like cheryl mills. It wouldnt have they could have simply gotten possession of the laptops by subpoena and with a grand jury hovering in the background, that would not have been resisted. And because they could have gotten it from the grand jury. So there was clearly an attempt not to prosecute Hillary Clinton on the part of this administration for her violationings of rules violations of the rules that subjected u. S. Security secrets to penetration by our enemies. Trish all right. Thank you so much, good to have you here. Thank you. Trish the big donald trump and Hillary Clintons debate, its happening on sunday which is now just 51 hours away. Let the countdown clock begin. Donald trump i says this time around hes going to stick to the issues. Hes got, you know, hes got to put in a better performance this time around really. The question is whether or not he can do it. Hes got to make up some ground with women voters who were put off by that whole spat with miss universe. Were going to be covering this. We have full Team Coverage happening on sunday night. Im going to kick it off at 6 p. M. Lou dobbs taking it at 7 and neil is taking us right into the detate. Were all on hand for analysis. Make sure you tune in, 6 p. M. Sunday night. Weve got more on the debate coming up next. Trish here we were just talking about the Hillary Clinton email scandal, and what do you know, breaking right now we have just learned that the state department is going to release another batch of Hillary Clinton emails in just about a half an hour from now. Rather, i should say oh, yeah, just about a half hour from now, around 3 30. So in about 40 minutes or so. 270 pages of emails are expected to be released by the state department. As you know, we will be all over it as soon as we get those in. You know, interest they once again choose a friday of a Holiday Weekend to release this stuff, but you know what . One could come back to bite them, because do not forget youve got the debate happening on sunday night and this, basically, is going to have to force the moderators, Anderson Cooper and martha raddatz, to have to ask Hillary Clinton about her emails. You know, all of it coming as i said, again, the two of them are taking this time off the campaign trail in order to prep for the big event on sunday. Donald trump, he kind of needs to turn in a big, te lr performance to stop stellar performance to stop some of the bleeding from his, frankly, weaker than expected first debate appearance and with dustup with the former miss universe. Polls show that that controversy, it hurt him with women. So hes got an opportunity now, he needs to turn it around. Can he do it . Mercedes schlapp, john rowley back with me. Mercedes, you know, in some ways someone needs to save him from himself there, you know . No three a. M. Tweets about a womans weight. I thought melania was going to save him from the tweets. Trish shes got to take that phone and hide it under the pillow. [laughter] exactly. Trish that hasnt happened. Look, i think, you know, for whatever reason a lot of americans are looking for an excuse not to vote for Hillary Clinton. They just dont like her for whatever reason, and as polarizing as he may be as well, theyre looking for an excuse not to vote for her. So in some ways, he just kind of needs to show up and do a decent job, and i think he would actually gain some support especially from independents. The question is, can he do it this time . Look, you have two dynamics going on. Hillary clinton wants a knockout punch this sunday to keep her momentum going. I think for donald trump its really one of his last chances to make his case to the American People and really, in his own authentic self of, speak from the heart and basically say im your fighter. Im going to im with you, and ive got the plan for job creation and for National Security and for safe communities and for these Kitchen Table issues that are incredibly important for families but particularly for women. There are a lot of those collegeeducated women. I mean, im from virginia. Im one of those soccer moms talking to these ladies who basically say, you know, im i dont know. I dont like her, but my goodness, can his tone change. And thats going to be very important for donald trump to be able to come across with a calm temperament and with a clear vision for america. Trish john, is she going to needle him again . [laughter] i suppose i would if i were her, right . Hes not that hard to needle. Hes got very thin skin. Hey, here is some brilliant debate prep adce for donald trump prepare. Do a policy briefing. Read. Read up on the issues. Prepare some answers. Be ready for attacks. Give some thoughtful policies, stepbystep layout. This is what every adviser in the history of political debates has advised every candidate, democrat and republican. He doesnt have the impulse control, it appears, to sit down and prep like every candidate trish im out of time. Thank you very much. Mercedes, john, thank you. A reminder, were kicking it off, 6 p. M. Ill be with here followed by lou and neil. Watch us. Who lives here and flies to hong kong, to visit this company that makes smart phones, used by this Vice President , this little kid, oops, and this obstetrician, who works across the street from this man, who creates software. Floridas west coast ports are now back in business, but Hurricane Matthew is still there present and churning, inundating. Right now it is turning north. Markets are soaking in all the news because its falling flat fast and furiously. The Dow Jones Industrial average is flat right now, down a measly point at the moment after todays lackluster jobs report. But no shortage of news. This video speaks volumes about the continuing danger. We have a rising storm surge,
