But the net net is we are still threatened by the country being taken over by taliban in combination with al qaeda in combination with isis. And that poses a direct threat to the United States in two respects. Once again establishing an international base, a haven for terrorist activities, plans and training against the United States, and two the risk that a terroristled afghanistan to facilitate the fall of the pakistani government, to the Pakistani Taliban or other radicals which would put terrorists in command of the Nuclear Arsenal of 60 or more Nuclear Weapons by public estimate. Its not farfetched to think that you could see a fusion or an alliance of convenience between isis and al qaeda. We know from the document we did capture from al qaeda locations from afghanistan in 2011. They wanted to get their hands on Nuclear Weapons. So i think speaking about what would happen in afghanistan alone is a mistake, given the instability of the pakistani government these many years.
