Charles continued toil tradition by serving in the Royal Air Force and royal navy. At 32, the worlds most eligible bachelor announced his engagement to Lady Diana Spencer 13 years his junior is delighted in happy. I made the change in bergen as took me on the couple married in july 1981. It was the wedding of the century and captured the wells imagination. Thousands came out to cheer and around the globe. Hundreds of millions watched the ceremony on their t. V screens. You again the couple had 2 sons, william and harry gave me a chance, but the fairy tale wasnt to last. To me for charles and his wife seemed increasingly unhappy. Notwithstanding the tress published leaked conversations that showed charles was having an affair with a former girlfriend, Camilla Parker bowles, 5 minutes in 1992, they made their split official. It is announced from Buckingham Palace that with regret, the prince and princess of wales have decided to separate a year after the couple divorced diana was killed in a car crash and paris. After being founded by pepper out c. Charles accompanied her body back to britain. There was an outpouring of public grief at dianas death and with this scandal surrounding their marriage, not yet forgotten. Public opinion of Prince Charles and the royal family had never been so low. Charles continued to dedicate himself to his royal duties and his charitable causes, most notably the princes trust, the charity he set up to help improve the lives of disadvantaged young people. His relationship with Camilla Parker bowles continued to develop and in 2005 the couple were married in a civil ceremony. Together they have carried on childs work and sustainability. He has always been passionate about the environment, promoting organic farming and biodiversity on his estate. But also on a global stage, at the top 26. 00 Climate Summit in las go, he urged Global Leaders to do more to limit Global Warming the close to linux, she is far greater than the coast to prevention. Climb has quite literally run out this winter as his mother stepped back from some of her responsibilities in recent years. And especially after the death of his father, Prince Philip. Charles took a more significant and active part in this charging royal duties from king in waiting to king and training. Now charles will take on the role that he is preparing for his entire life is alex forest whiting is still here with me in the studio annex once this period of morning is over, king charles, the 3rd will have some very big shoes to fill. Whats his standing my in the United Kingdom amongst britons . Well, i think its going to be very difficult for ever to ever be as popular as his mother was because she was by the end of her life, adored across the nation, even by those who dont necessarily believe there even should be a monarchy in the United Kingdom, so he, i think must acknowledge its never going to be the same as that. But as he has had so much time to prepare for this, its been quite clear that he has been focusing, for example, on trying to slim down the monarchy and who is seen in public, for example, on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. And also really pushing his son who will be the next in line, Prince William and his wife kate. And that theyre the duke and duchess of cambridge, to make sure that they are connecting more with younger people that they are seen as more modern, more normal. I guess a to make sure that people realize that they like that hes going to put his own stamp on the monarchy and being king. And you know, obviously there will have been a lot of problems for him in the past. For example, weve just seen it, we just hold. Yeah. As well. It basically with, with what happened with the princess diana. And he was really not light because of that situation and has had a couple of decades really strong to try to repair some of the damage. And so i think hes in much better standing than he could have been. But he still has got i think a lot to prove actually feel that he has stated low. Do you think britons have forgiven him for that period . I think they have. I think a we know that camilla, his wife is now called queen consort. I mean what, there was always a big issue about what title would she get when Queen Elizabeth died. So hes always try to play it down, but she is queen, consult. She is basically queen. And i think that because so much time has elapsed since the death of princess diana, the people have forgiven him. They have accepted them as a couple. They know that they are hard working. And i do think actually that the public will be behind them. Certainly in the near future, but i it will be hard to predict what happens later on as her, as he really takes the rain to makes his mark and put his stamp on the monarchy. We saw in that report many will already know that king jobs is very passionate about the environment. Is one example of, of the causes that he is interested in. Will he continue . Do you think to be so vocal about that in his new role and do you think that might come some way to bridge the gap with a younger audience who may feel not so connected to the roles . I think that i think thats a really good question. Because hes been known as being an activist prince, and it certainly has spoken out certainly much more than his mother ever did. A particular ver, issues like the environment, but also other issues. And that some of his comments, letters that hed written to ministers were actually leaked a few years ago. So i think that he has as always played a different role to his mother. And the question is, how far can he go now that he is king because he has to be above politics and he cannot be seen to be interfering. Perhaps he will be more like his mother and every week when he meets with the Prime Minister, he will make his views known. But i cannot see him giving up on those passions such as a Climate Change and the environment because that has been entitled to him. I mean all the way through his life. And he, obviously it is, is very keen to make sure that the environment is protected. So im sure that we, there will still be parts of that that we will see. But i think he will have to be much more careful and how he presents his views and not be accused of stepping over the line and becoming too politico. As king charles, who of course will not only be head of state or of britain, but also 14 other commonwealth countries, including australia, where im from, what is his standing like now in those countries . I think thats also going to be played out over the next few months and years. We know that the queen was still very popular among those 14 states and of course, across the commonwealth that she was a different person because shed been on the frame for 70 years. We know that there are already a, for example. Barbados, back in november, became a republic, did not want the queen as head of state. And we know that australia, for example, have set up a Commission Many more moved towards these states and countries becoming republics over the next few years. So i think we have to wait and watch that one out, but i think there will probably have to be change without a doubt. All right, alex, thank you will be coming to you throughout the day, but give you a little break for now. And as far as why thank you. In those 7 decades on the throne as brittons head of state, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd met countless World Leaders, now tributes i am pouring in from across the globe. Lets take a look at some of them. Lowering the flag in honor of Queen Elizabeth a mark of respect from President Biden by the opportunity to meet her before she person, susan, incredibly gracious and decent woman, the thoughts and for the American People are with the people who United Kingdom and the commonwealth in the roof of the World Leaders echoed those sentiments as tributes flooded in clinic in elizabeth line. This whole Queen Elizabeth was a woman who defined a century and in the United Kingdom and beyond. The he knows very advice. She witnessed history side cassie and wrote it herself once had cuz she did receive her here in germany and thought she was admired and venerated out on for it. Will yonah door to millions of germans are united in sorrow and sympathy. Toner, with the people of the united came dynastee, chronic eyes for bon bolcom, swarmed with deep sadness. I have learned of the death of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd much after all, it is a heavy loss for the whole of europe and the world. Human usual from all ukrainians. I express sincere condolences to the royal family, the whole of the u. K. Rain and the commonwealth in our thoughts and prayers are with you as far. Un secretary general Antonia Gutierrez said that elizabeth would be remembered for her unwavering life. Long dedication, scores of other leaders have rushed to pay their respects for the woman who was the face of a nation for so many years. And to talk about their reaction here in germany, im joined now by our political correspondent, nina houser. Shes standing in front of the chancery in berlin. Nina, we saw the german president there saying Queen Elizabeth was admired and venerated in germany at will shortly be hearing from chancellor all of sholtes. Tell us about some of the other reactions in germany to the cleans passing. So if you needed any prove, just how popular the queen was here in germany, i mean, just look at todays edition of built newspaper. This is germanys biggest daily. They have a 12 page, special edition just dedicated to live and this is just not them are people started flocking to the British Embassy a late last night when the new news broke. And its interesting to hear from any germans who say, and this is not necessarily about supporting the monarchy or such but air. Queen elizabeth was such a special person and we admire her for all the dedication and am the role that to you fulfilled through. I would her long life and many people here in germany have the feeling. We dont have a monica here, but she is somehow a bit of an air our own adopted queen if you will. So yes, were going to hear from a chancellor. Well have shows as well whos go, who also reacted already late late last night on twitter, where he also thanked the queen for reaching out to germany, essentially after the world war and as reaching out to the former enemy, germany. And he said that her commitment to the british german relationship will never be forgotten or britains royal family suddenly has a very special connection to germany, doesnt it . It does indeed, of course em. The queen herself, had german routes through her great, great grandmother who was married to add to a german and then of course, Queen Elizabeths m late husband, Prince Philip was also m. Somebody with german route. But then the queen herself had a very special relationship with germany. Herself tea and help the troops during the 2nd world war. She drove army trucks for example, to against the enemy. With that was then germany and after the war to came to germany in the 19 sixtys or on her 1st state visit. And then essentially assured germany of britain support and to make that transition to a democratic system again and, and to establish the british german relationship again. Overall, he came 5 times unofficial state visits and visited many more times. The last time he was here in berlin was in 2015, where she also met and then chance langler mackerel, who showed her where she had grown up as a young child behind the iron curtain. But the queen also then in 2015, visited the former nazi concentration camp bag and benson. And that was of course, the one that was liberated by british forces. So that was something that she had personally wished to do because of course then not to past of this country. Here is very much a part of the life of Queen Elizabeth. Now, over the last few years, you do have to say that germans attitude some what was also affected by the fact that the queen didnt interfere in the breakfast of debate. Many germans had hoped that she, as somebody who so cherished the british german relationship, would somehow step in so that britain wouldnt leave the you. She didnt do that. She stuck to her role and she stayed out of politics. And even in you mentioned that that, that support the outpouring of support from german dignitaries and the german hub lake. It may not necessarily be for the royal family as a whole, but for Queen Elizabeth herself. What do you say would be the support for king charles among the german public . Well, at the moment we do have a government in place that is very much in favor of m, combating a Climate Change and of reducing c o 2 emissions wont wide and everybody here knows that to have him. King charles, as we now have to call him, is somebody who has long advice, advocated for those goals, and that he attended the cop 26 in glasgow for example, urging World Leaders to do more. So that is definitely something where the German Government will probably hope that king charles will take a slightly more active role than his mother did in that aspect when it comes to fighting Climate Change. Do you see that the global standing of the british world family will change in, in countries like germany under king charles you know, what i find it extremely astonishing is how this country britain is. It has in one week experience the hand over from one head of government and so from bars johnson to lose trust and in the same week from the head of state. So from the queen to her son the king. And this just goes to show that were faced with a completely different britain. I mean, bliss, trust is still. She is from the conservative party, but we still dont know her. Well, she was only met by the queen and inaugurated essentially am on tuesday. So we havent had much experience with her yet. And also king charles, we dont really know what is going to happen over all you do have to say that the majority of germans dont support the system of monarchy. So that is something where they will not fight for, but they do love the glamour. Precisely, a social democrat, government and a social democrat chancellor. We have looking at live pictures of the podium where were expecting chance that all our sholtes to come out any moment. Now and give a speech in regards to the queen pay his respects. What are you expecting . What . What might we expect from chance michelles to day, nina . Well, of course, our 1st last night when the news broke m. Chancello choice wasnt the 1st to come out, but that is, according to the protocol that the german head of state who slightly less well known around the world, but flanked by dutch dine. Maia gave a video statement where he thanked the queen again. For those vide told moments after the world war a, where she really did reach out to the new country, that was then the young, a federal republic of germany. And i reiterated her support essentially. So i believe that o, chancello love shots will probably send a similar message and also said to the brits that to have germany does want a strong relationship with britain and on also under the new king and that germany will be eternally grateful for having got that chance am to become a democratic country after the world war. What has the relationship there is a special relationship between the British Royal family and germany. Can you talk us through a little bit about that . Yeah, well if you, if you look at the long history, there are many, many noble families here in germany still that have private relations with British Royal. So there is a very close Family Network if you will. And so there has been a, an extremely, extremely intense exchange, of course also between those people. But then the queen did come 5 times, once every decade on official state visits. And that was a clear sign. She visited the u. S. On state visits the same amount of time. So that just goes to show just how much the British Royal family also appreciated the strong linked to germany. All right, nina has a we will be coming back to you once. Sir. Chancellor schoultz has spoken, but for the moment well leave it there. Thank you very much for that wrap up now to get some of the reactions from across europe. My colleague jack park joins been out from bath brussels. Jack, how are your repair leaders responding to the queens death . Weve had a statement in the European Commission president of on the line you called her an anchor of stability in the hardest times saying not only that, but also that she took personal inspiration from the queen for i am going to have to interrupt you momentarily. But because we are seeing german chance that i know how old are mantell ladies learned, had taken out or to the death of the british clean. Elizabeth. The 2nd moves and touches every one of us across the globe. There is grief and a real sense or sympathy with the family as well. All of the flowers in front of Buckingham Palace in london, but also in front of the British Embassy. Right in berlin show. The place that Queen Elizabeth had in every ones heart here in germany as well, and the cooling and forlorn britain has lost its queen, and the world has lost a figure of a century at yahoo. Over 70 years, she reigned. It seems like half an eternity, but the queen embodied the best of our common european legacy democracy and the rule of law. Elizabeth elizabeth by 2 guns, dimmed in some em lunch. Elizabeth the 2nd devoted her life to the service of her countrymen and women. Look to follow dunc barcode often, and we look with gratitude at the life of the queen who stood among other things that were done for you to also over coming m ninty. After the 2nd world war. Her many visits to germany, them because of her strong presence and interest in the people she met will stay with us for a long time. Over the ladies and gentlemen that i have already turned on for me to share our condolences with british Prime Minister is trust germany to mourned the death of a Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. We wish her successor, king charles, the 3rd strength, and kinda all the best for his reign. Thank you. They just heard earl german, chancellor, all of charlotte paying his respects to Queen Elizabeth. Lets go back to dw political correspondent, nina houser, who standing in front of the chance, larry, nina, a very brief statement there what stood out to you in the chancellors words. But its essentially what we expected is a repeat of what he said on twitter already a late last night, thanking the queen for her role in overcoming the enmity between german and britain during the 2nd world war. So the role that she played in that crucial post war period where she did come to that young democracy here in 1965 to assure the germans that britain did trust them to that they were going to become a different country and that britain would support them so he thanked the queen for that. He also said that she will be missed also here in germany. And what i thought was interesting was when he said she embodied the best of on common european democracy. And he stressed the role of the rule of law, and that i think was a very subtle message that germany still considers britain to be part of the european family. Indeed, he also said he, she devoted her life to the service of her country and countrymen, that something weve been hearing time and time again from all leaders. All people paying respects to the queen that sort of sense of duty. And in a reminder, again of those special relationship that the royal family has with germany and germans to the late queen. Well, the queen herself, had german routes through her great, great grandmother who was married to a german and then also a prince. Philip, her husband, who died last year and had german roots himself and the queen had her very special relationship with this country. Because of course, he got to know nazi germany as a young woman and he helped the british troops during the 2nd world war when her country was bombed, essentially by nazi germany. And still after the war, he made sure that to this message got out to the world. The britain does believe that m. O, strong and democratic germany was needed in the global family, if you will. And she did it even though if she didnt exert political influence just the fact that she came here so often unofficial state visits 5 times, once every decade, many times in between. She visited berlin several times when the country celebrated its 750 years of existence. For example. She was also here and that in itself was a fact that term was he always had a very good idea of what was happening in germany and always tried to send signals to the well that the british german relationship was something that was true to her heart but again, i do have to stress the fact that many here in germany, they did a door and a love her. And they loved the fact and also looked up to her for her discipline and for the way that she fulfilled this role and stayed out of politics essentially. But when it came to the briggs debate, many people here were heartbroken to see a queen. So in active somebody who had fought for the british general relationship for so long for the friendship to see that she stay true to herself, she didnt interfere in the debate. And eventually britain left that you and you do have to say that british german relations have deteriorated somewhat, but tons law will have towards also in his statement make clear that m he as sent his condolences to the new british premier list trust. And so of course they are going to try and get on, but of course they have to get to know it at the 1st or i, nina, thank you very much than did over his nina hasa. And as nina was just explaining, the British Royal family still proved to be very popular here, although germany abolished its own monarchy more than a century ago. Queen elizabeth had ancestors german roots as name was saying, but during the 1st world war, the house of sax recovered, gotta in england, opted for a name change and became the house of windsor. But elizabeth always showed a came interest in her country of heritage a feeling that was mutual. Oh, the germans and the queen that was affection on both sides. They clearly liked each other. Over half a century, the queen made 5 state visits to germany. More than 2, most of the countries in the world. But the relationship took a little time to warm up. It was 2 decades after the end of hostilities that the british monarch set foot on german soil for the 1st time since the end of the war. The queens visit was considered a gesture of reconciliation by west germans. Very early on, the german public was very sympathetic with his young queen. She was a very modern woman at the time she had a love marriage, so she, she chose her husband and her husband, Prince Philip, had german routes. Although this was played down to the British Public as was the queens own heritage. Elizabeth, the 2nd was also descended from german nobility. When the queen returned in 1978, she found a much more self confident, modern west germany relations between the 2 countries had by now normalized her 3rd state visit in 1992 was to a re unified germany the courting at the former Border Crossing checkpoint charlie, the queens visit, was seen as a positive gesture at the time when many britons were fearful of a german resurgence. She received a warm welcome in the reinstated german capital term and by and large, really not want to kiss, but its lovely to have them won a key next door. It doesnt cost anything at all and you get all the glamour in 2004. She was back in, fell in again. This time with a speech with an unusually clear political aspect in which she acknowledged victims on both sides in world war 2 to learn from history to look beyond simplistic stereotypes to realize how often we share the same outcome. Her final visit to germany was in 2015. As always, the queen emphasized the deep connections between britain and germany. We can seize a constant interest or between 2 countries, which had become again, very friendly in 5 decades of i think, very stable and, and frankly relationships between germany and United Kingdom. Queen elizabeth, the 2nd will be remembered as a friend of germany. And lets go back to bronsels now and get some of those reactions from across europe with my colleague, jack herrick. Jack, how, how are your of him leaders responding to this news of the queens death . Yes, we heard from europe in Commission President saying that she was an anchor of stability in even the hardest times. And we had a statement, particularly eloquent, actually from the french president , a manual, my crohn kind of back hearing what weve heard in that report. And also from what are what the german chancellor olaf shows the same. A statement ran. The queen of 16 kingdoms, loved france, which loved her back. She stood with the giants of the 20th century, said that statement from the french president manual ma chronus hard to underestimate how significant the queen was for european leaders all over the world. She was loved. She was a symbol of the United Kingdom. And her last will be found all over europe. And we were just discussing with nina hauser that germany, of course, is no longer a monarchy, but there are many monarchies across the continent. How have your pin royal families been reacting to the queens passing . Yeah, thats right. Where im stood is in front of the, the belgian royal palace. And in fact, the king of the belgians king felipe is a very distant cousin of the queens through leopold. The 1st, who was the uncle of the british, former british queen, queen victoria. I think one of the things is that the queen didnt only symbol is symbolized the stability of the british monarchy. But of european monarchies, all in all the palace here has released a statement saying that the king will have fond memories with the queen. And we do expect that the royal families of belgium, probably the netherlands, sweden, denmark, and norway will be in attendance as some of the ceremonial events that take place in london to march. The passing of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd and the coronation potentially of king charles the 3rd and act when it comes to politics. Its in the queens job to remain politically impartial. But do we know what do we know about has you when it comes to the relationship with the a you and of course breaks it well as was a signal and a sign of her entire 70 year rain. She kept her opinions to herself and was highly commended in the United Kingdom for that. But as you say, breaks it was a huge issue. You might remember back in 2019, there was a during the very height of the ferrari around breaks at the queen came out wearing a blue dress and a blue hat with yellow flowers in a circle on it. And it was widely interpreted that she was trying to start to show a sign of affection, the outfit looking Something Like the flag of the european union. Now her dresser adamantly denied that it was anything to do with that. But a lot of her clothing was always deemed to be sort of interpreted towards her feelings. But as we say she, she never spoke publicly about those political opinions. She felt that that was her duty contact. Thank you very much for that view from europe. Jack park forest in brussels, low she had increasingly withdrawn from home. I profile royal duties in recent years. Queen elizabeth dedicated her 70 year round to serving her subjects. Lets take a look back now at the life of the worlds oldest and longest reigning monarch. O. No british monarch reigned for as long as Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Ah, she was a constant in time of dramatic change. Ah, all was disciplined. All was dutiful. A life of public service. Right . Until the end. In 1926, elizabeth came into the world. She was not born to be queen, but when her uncle king edward the 8th advocated after less than a year on the throne, elizabeth father was crowned king. His daughter suddenly became the crown princess. She accepted the task and took it seriously. Even in her youth, i did have before you all the high high. Whether it be no short shall be diverted to your service and to the service of our Great Imperial families, to which we all belong. During world war 2, elizabeth did her military service as a mechanic after the war. She married naval officer, philip mount patton, her great love, ah, one year later, Prince Charles was born. The 1st of 4 children. Ah, in february 952, her father, king george, the 6th died. Elizabeth replaced him while on a trip to africa. The tragic news reached princess elizabeth and her husband, while in kenya and the new queen left immediately london. Elizabeth, the 2nd was only 25 years of age. Her carnation ceremony did not take place until the following year. In june, 1953. The ceremony itself was one of the 1st world events to be broadcast on television. An estimated 300000000 people who watched around the globe. The queen took the throne at a time when the British Empire was losing its importance. Many former colonies gained their independence while at the same time, a new global conflict began with the cold war. As Queen Elizabeth was not allowed to perceive her own political agenda, but she was the most important representative over the country and head of the commonwealth. In that role, she tirelessly travelled the world in the decades that followed the at home elizabeth was intent on boosting the royal family as popularity also with the help of the media. The spectacular wedding of her son charles to Diana Spencer in the summer of 1981 was the most watch tv broadcast the whole time when what appeared to be a perfect royal family life began to unravel. The tabloid press was merciless. In the 1990 s. The newspapers feasted on the Royal Affairs and divorces. Charles and dianas marriage failed. And in 1997, diana died in a traffic accident. The worldwide outpouring of sympathy was overwhelming. But the royal family struggled to find sympathetic words. She was an exceptional and gifted human being in good times and bad. She never lost her capacity to smile and laugh, nor twins, others with her want some kindness. This was when the royals popularity hidden all time low dianas sons Princes William and harry did not talk about the trauma of their mothers death until years later. Ah, when harrys marriage to us televisions to megan markov has repeatedly exploited by the tabloids the couple made a radical exit. They officially turned their backs on the royal family, ultimately moving to the United States there. And they complained in interviews about racism in the media. And also in the palace compared to the other members of the royal family, the queen let a quiet marriage. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Prince Philip for 73 years. He was an Important Pillar of support for her, which made the moment of parting all the more difficult. Ah, in the spring of 2021, philip died, age 909. Owing to the corona virus pandemic, the funeral took place with a very small circle of mourners. Elizabeth was alone. It was an image that touched many but only a few days later, she was again representing the country, receiving ambassadors by a video conference, and participating in zoom meetings with scientists. And its wonderful work you are all doing. So is great to see all but you so much. Thank you, your majesty. Ah, in a world that has changed radically. Elizabeth was a constant mainstay ah. Committed to tradition, but not closed to the new and most of the critics of the British Royal family paid tribute to the queen. For her long life in service to her country and to the commonwealth. Lets go back to london now a dw corresponding big mass is standing by forest outside. Buckingham palace bigger. We can see the many people there standing behind you walking past Buckingham Palace to pay their respects, bringing flowers. Does it give us a sense of the mood there . To day, really thousands of people have been coming by and for the fact that so many people are here. Its really very quiet. So the mood is, is somber. People are not exactly grief stricken, i would say, but theyre coming here because this is something that they want to mark. She was just this figurehead that was always there for her subjects and some people cant put it in words. Some people ive spoken to others are saying, well, i just want to, i just want to be here and i want to be be part of this occasion. And i think a lot of people have, have a strong personal connection, even though they might not have matter. Indeed, id certainly a momentous day or a mentor, momentous occasion, whichever way you stand when it comes to the royal family. But definitely i can imagine for the people in england, theyre wanting to pay their respects. This is such a, such a man. And that meant his occasion. What will the queens legacy be . Do you think, in your opinion, i think for the british people, a big part of the monarchy is to connect the people off to day with a history. And i think her, nobody has embodied there better than the queen who, whos decor, whos rain has are arranged over over 7 decades. And who connected to the people i think, and away also with the empires. The whole, our tradition she, she really embodied and as a figurehead, i think just many people what they say to me again and again people ive spoken to about the korean, they say its this sort of sense of duty. She got up every morning she put on her work clothes and she, she went to all these engagements, whether she really liked it or not. She just did it and she was trying to reach out to people. I think the leader of the opposition kiersten also said it quite well. And he said, well, she embodied that was not what divides us, but what holds us together as a nation. And i think just true her age and to the fact how she came across and tried to reach out to really every one that was Something Special and that this is something that the writ, british people really, really have appreciated and be at what, whats gonna be happening next, we know that this abbas to paul bell will be tolling our once for every year of her life or 96. 00 times. But the in terms of the funeral, when is the funeral . When will the world get to see the new king charles the new king charles. So start off with this. We are expecting him to meet alice trust, the new Prime Minister. So to people who are really new and their job, even though Prince Charles has had a long time to prepare for this. And we expect him to give a broad calls to the nation at some point today. But throughout the day youve said there will be dancer ludes, there will be charged bells ringing, not just in the u. K, but across the country, and then follows a period of morning. We understand that the, the body of the queen will be 1st moved to edinburgh, so the people in scotland have a chance to pay their respects. And then within the next days, a coffin will be carried to london and, and people in london. I will be able to pay their respects once again. Personally, the day of the funeral is expected to be within their next fortnight. It was always thought to be within after 10 days of her passing. But it hasnt been confirmed just yet. But within the fortnight, this is what the, what were expecting. And then the official morning will continue for some days after honor to believe king charles has for the royal family declared that there will be, ah, a period of mourning that last 7 days. We also think that there will be some sort of bank holiday to mark the occasion, but as far as i know, that hasnt been confirmed as yet. Now, what about the coronation . That could be still some months away. Am i correct . This is correct. There is no day just yet.
