When i went to pepperdine was terrific. A lot of people disagreed with me nationally. Everyone was very respect all and very, very and i really enjoyed it when i got back i said great place, pepperdine. Since that time in the mid19 early 1970s, i had an affiliation. What is your history of california politics . Not a great deal. I came out here when i was eight years old. My folks came out here obviously. From milwaukee in. I wasnt successful at all in any of the things i endeavor when i was eight. So i came out here. Anyway, it was a great place to go to school. In terms of politics, i got very involved in International Politics starting in 1960. Very involved in defense including Ballistic Missiles in the late 19th days. From that time forward, once we start traveling around and doing these things in different countries, you get just a gross debt. At that time i was making movies and those are the kinds of movies i wanted to make her the documentaries. And then started making movies for the United StatesInformation Agency and president johnson announced me to calm and work for the United StatesInformation Agency as its director George Stevens junior left. Thats correct. 1992. He ran again in 94 . For the nomination . No, i did not. The first time i ran and i knew nothing was going to happen. But it was 1986. Most people say yeah, thats right. No, it isnt right to say it. If youre the commanderinchief, be quiet about anything. Youre not thinking of doing or even what youre thinking of doing. He has done something really extraordinary. First, keep in mind when you join the service the first week you are told by a commanding officer, whoever it may be, if youre ever captured, theres only three things you can tell the enemy. Took an ad out in all the major newspapers saying theyve made a concentration camp at south viet im not that the North Vietnamese have taken it over.
