Before i bring d souza to the stage, take a look at this. Who are these democrats . Scenic it is my judgment. Dinesh d souza was sentenced tuesday to spend eight months. It up again when the Obama Administration tried to shut me up. What did i learn . All crime is about stealing. The big criminal is still at large. The system doesnt go after them. Because they run the system. Is time to go behind the curtain and discover the soul of the Democratic Party. 50 lashes. The democrats support slaves. This Civil Rights Act will allow colored men to sit at the same table beside the white. The Democratic Party, weighs all of this then swept under the rug . To cover the tracks of the Democratic Party. And we are not even talk ancient history. Racism continued well into the 20th century. As long as black men continue to ravish our white women we will continue to live here. You got to give them a little something. Plantation politics. The democrats went from slavery to enslavement. Corrupted bigcity bosses is how you get corrupt unions. What progressivism actually means. A social engineering and social control. A large family judge and one of its members is secure. Of the opening video at the Democratic Convention 2012, the government is one thing we all belong to. The government belongs to us, we dont belong to it. What are these democrats hiding . This is about influence and foreign governments. When you follow the money there are few coincidence. What if the goal of the Democratic Party is to steal the most valuable thing the world has ever produced . What if their plan is to steal america . Who will stop that now . [applause]. Thank you very much. For me its always an honor and privilege to be here at the Young Americas Foundation the summer conference. Im thrilled to be accompanied by my wife, debbie. We are both immigrants, debbie is from venezuela and me from india. Whenever i look at you guys i always think about when i first came to america. I was 17 years old and i was an Exchange Student from india going to Public School in arizona. I remember the airplane descending on new york city and i looked out the window and i saw the skyline of new york. I saw the statue of liberty. Kind of a very strange feeling came over me because i realized that my life from that moment on would be totally different. I realize even without being political intuitively, that i was moving from the margin of the world to the center. I realize that i would be able to do things with my life that i would not able to do if i had stayed back in india. Here in america, i have experience the american dream. Which isnt just a dream of economic success or opportunity. Its really the dream of being able to be the architect of your own destiny. It is the dream of being able to write the script of your own life. So, here in america if your parents say to you pay your billy, young jane, what do you want to be if you grow up, they can advise you, but at the end of the day they know that it is you who will supply the answer to that question. Now, fastforward about 25 years and it was about a year ago that i found myself locked up in a federal Confinement Center under the supervision of the bureau of prisons of the Obama Administration with 120s seasoned hoodlums. I was going to say seasoned hoodlums like myself, but there was certainly seasoned hoodlums and this was for my crime of exceeding the campaignfinance limits. I had actually given 20000 to a College Friend of mine who was running for the senate. Normally, this is an offense when there isnt any corruption you are not trying to buy favors or do any kind of underhanded dealings. Normally, this is something that is recorded to the federal election commission, not a criminal matter at all. Unified and maybe community service, but in my case the Obama Administration prosecuted me with the full force of the law, unleashed a battery of fbi agents on me and tried to get my assistant to wear a hidden wire as if i were out component. There i was in the federal courtroom hearing a bailiff bark out the phrase, United States of america versus Dinesh D Souza. Kind of a chilling feeling down your spine when you are in immigrants. Now, did i exceed the campaignfinance law . Yes, but no american has been locked up for doing what i did. In fact, right about the same time that my case was migrating through the courts another guy, and asian indian guy, we Asian Indians appear to specialize in the Campaign Finance violation area. [laughter] in any event, this dude gave 180,000 in donations to Hillary Clinton and a group of other democratic candidates. He was also found guilty of witness tampering and he openly boasted about his corruption, about trying to buy these politicians. This guy gets no prison, no confinement. So, you mention this because justice is not simply a matter of if you break the law. Justice is also a matter of does the penalty fit the crime. Did other guys who did the same thing gets roughly the same penalty . I think we can see from my case that the progressive justice that i was subjected to position him. That this was actually kind of selective prosecution. What i think that . Because a few months earlier i had made the film 2016 Obamas America in which i got not only into obamas world, but i also got into obamas head and people say g, d souza we think that what you think the president of the United States would care what you did and the reason i know he did was because after the film came out the attacks on me in the movie began to appear on a website called barack obama. Com. These attacks were unsigned, but if you actually read them closely in their particular your picture of arrogance, incoherence one could recognize the unmistakable signature of the man who currently occupies the white house can so, this was why i found myself in federal Confinement Center. Now, initially i was kind of jubilant. The Obama Administration actually wanted to lock me up for two two years. By the way, had they succeeded there was no way i could have made this movie on hillary. In fact, i would be locked up now. Instead i got this eightmonth Confinement Center in which i was i would spend the night in a dorm, about the size of this room with 120 other guys who had served prison sentences. These were not whitecollar guys. They were maybe five to eight white collar criminals and the rest were drug smugglers, coyotes, rapists, the whole gamut of very rough guys and initially i was kind of terrified because i thought to myself, well first of all the majority were hispanic, but everyone seemed to be in some group or gang and the great gangs were complex. Even the hispanics were not in one gang. The american hispanics who are called south siders had gang and then the mexicans had their gangs, so im like i cant talk to this guy because that guy will want to kill me. So, i did consider starting my own gang, the asian indian gang, but after about a month i thought to myself, look im in a strange place. Im sort of like an anthropologist in a strange land and this is not a place where you normally find conservatives. I mean, im not going to walk down the hall and see Charles Krauthammer or george willis. So, i said let me talk to these guys and can have learned well, lets call it the ideology of the criminal underclass. My previous exposure to this ideology was limited to two viewings of the Shawshank Redemption in which i had the idea that all criminals insist they never did it and are totally innocent. But, in talking to these guys over a period of many weeks i realized that their view is somewhat different and more interesting. Their view is, we did it and we are guilty, but we are the stupid criminals. We are the guys who got caught and thats why were here. We are also the small fry. The big fry never get caught. The big fry are out there. In fact, the big fry are not even pursued by the system because they run the system. They have connections within the system that protect them. So, this got me thinking. Because for 25 years i looked at american politics is a kind of debate. We are the conservatives. We believe this and the liberals believe that and the republicans are for equality of rights and the democrats are for equality of outcomes and bob loblaw. Is the view of the criminal underclass that this whole way of thinking about american politics is total and complete nonsense. Human nature is not motivated that way. Human nature is not motivated by an urge to debates. Human beings actually motive by quit his to and greed and lust and anger and hatred and bert and revenge and if these motives actually drive human wife life why should politics be immune or exempt . In other words, we need a wider angle of vision to see politics in its full motive, a motive that is not merely idealistic, but also realistic. Why people do what they do . Why did the clintons do what they do . What motivates obama . I would like to talk about that briefly this morning. I will begin by talking a little bit about the Democratic Party. Im a creature of the reagan revolution and in fact, reagan used to send the 80s, i didnt leave the Democratic Party, it left me. It left me. Now, you get the idea that the Democratic Party was actually a good party. Eight was actually humming along pretty well until maybe the late 60s or the Mcgovern Campaign when it kind of went off the rails. It left him. But, i regret to say that this is one area where in a way reagan was wrong and what, i mean, by that as an adult later when i began to begin to dig into this subject and research it, i began to realize that, no, the Democratic Party has actually had a sordid strain that has defined this party from the very beginning. From the very beginning. The reason we dont know about it, i didnt know about it, reagan did know about it is because of the success of progressive historian. That progressives have been ingenious at covering their tracks. I will start by giving a small example of this because it actually pertains to one of the really horrific events of the 20th century, the holocaust. In the 1930s, the Democratic Party was fascinated, not only by fascination, but also by nazi ism. And they liked it and if this seems a little little unbelievable, young john f. Kennedy went to nazi germany in the 30s and came back super excited about hitler. In fact, full of praise of his children called in the legend. He said of the people to like hitler, but they are jealous of him. He said that nazi claim to be superior and that the nordic people are better than everyone else and he said thats because they are. This is jfk. By the way, i should tell you that nothing im about to say this morning is controversial in the sense of it is debated whether it occurred. Can actually google jfk jfk nazi germany 1930s on your phone and in 30 seconds you will see what i just said is true. Fdr was enamored by a mussolini. Fdr actually dispatched members of his brain trust to go to italy to study italian hostage and because he thought the type passage of was more progressive than the new deal and he thought that he could enforce ideas from italian fascism to america. This was not a oneway fascination, it was actually a mutual admiration society. Mussolini reviewed fdrs book in an italian magazine. He loved it. He goes my conclusion upon reading this book is this guys one of us, hes a fascist. This was mussolini. Now, after world war ii, progressive historians look at all of this and they went, wow, fascism now carries the order of the holocaust, gas chamber and we can have this kind of stuff in the textbooks. In people may find out about it. Lets make sure we prudently leave it out. We are not going to lie about it. We just are not going say anything about it. So, this is a small but telling example of the way in which two of the greater progressive figures of the 20th century, jfk and fdr, have been, you may say protected by the progressive left. Lets continue with fdr for moments. Fdr, when he was elected when did to push the new deal. But, it was difficult to push through the new deal because he needed the support of other democrats. The Democratic Party in fdrs time was racist to the core, racist to the core. Fdr needed the racist democrats to get the new deal through, so he goes to the racist democrats and basically says please support the new deal and i will give you all kinds of benefits and we will build the Tennessee Valley project in your neighborhood and so on, but the racist democrats said that is not enough. We will vote for the new deal if you, fdr, agreed to block all of anti lynching laws are proposed by the republicans and fdr agrees. The racist democrats say in addition to that we want to make sure that the two main occupations that blacks are in, namely Domestic Service and Agricultural Labor are excluded from most do new deal programs. No new deal for blacks and fdr agrees again. So, heres the progressive hero of the 20th century completely in bed with the worst racist in america who were a critical part of getting this new deal through. Once again, this is a fact, in fact. Now, lets back up and take in the big picture because the big picture can be summarized as follows the Democratic Party who founded it . Right away thats kind of a mystery. Who started the Democratic Party . We know Abraham Lincoln was kind of the founder of the Republican Party. Who started the Democratic Party some say maybe it was fdr. No, it cannot be fdr. Something maybe it was thomas jefferson, no, it wasnt jefferson. Jeffersons party was called the Democratic Republican Party and it split and later became the Democratic Party and later the Republican Party, so Andrew Jackson was the founder of the Democratic Party. Andrew jackson is a controversial figure. Hes controversial because of his indian war. He was known as kind of a savage indian fighter, but i want to highlight a set of Andrew Jackson that is never talked about. There are whole biographies on Andrew Jackson that never mentioned this and that is Andrew Jackson as someone who figured out how to profit greatly from poet public policy, prophet from public policy. Heres what jackson would do, he would be getting ready to have a fight with the indians and drive them off their land and push them further west and the whole idea was that this land would then be auctioned off to settlers. But, Andrew Jackson knew which land was going to become available before the fight and he would send in his privacy private surveyors that would determine the value of that land , which would then be reported privately to him. He would then contact his buddies who were investors and those guys would bid on the land before it even became available for sale. In fact, they would bid on the land before the indians had even been thrown off the land. In this way, Andrew Jackson went from to use a phrase from Hillary Clinton, dead broke to becoming one of the richest men in the country. He was worth in todays money over 100 million and he took his money and bought himself a big slave plantation in tennessee. When i tell you this . Because the roots of the Clinton Foundation can be found in the policies of Andrew Jackson. This stuff that we see today in which the clintons are able to you may say markets policy. Think for a moment about the clintons and if i can fast forward a bit here. The clintons, well, hillary said she was dead broke, but it is true the clintons did not come into politics with money. We have had rich president s. Fdr was rich. Jfk was rich, but they were rich before. The clintons came into politics and they did not have a whole lot of money, so how do you go from 02 by 300 million on a government salary . How do you do that . How does your foundation accumulate a total of 3 billion when you havent done anything lex you didnt invent the iphone or start a business. How do you do that . Is it even a plausible way to imagine how that could legitimately occur . No. No. In other words, what we are dealing with here is crockery. We are dealing with people who would learn how to market policy for private benefit. Now, back to the Democratic Party so i can lay a context for this, the Democratic Party began , not only as the party of indian relocation, but as the party of slavery. This requires a moment explanation because clearly democrats did not invent slavery. Slavery has been around since the dawn of mankind. What the democrats invented is something called a positive good school of slavery. In other words, the democrats invented the idea that slavery is good, not merely for the master, but also for the slave. This is kind of unbelievable. Historically people who defended slavery said slavery is the function of her brother regrettable necessity, dirty work to be done and someone has to do it and thats why we have slaves. The democrats came up with the idea that slavery benefits the slave. And i say this because there is an echo today in the way that democrats run what i will call urban plantations on the same rationale. Our urban plantation benefit the people who live on those plantations. This is an echo of the proslavery argument of the 19th century. Now, the democrats defended slavery consistently in the civil war is understood better as a fight, not between the north and the south, but between the proslavery Democratic Party and the antislavery Republican Party. We think of the civil war as a northsouth fight. Amazingly, this way of thinking about it is a triumph of progressive historiography picked up progressives took their own crime, the crime of the Democrat Party and said lets blame the south. Lets get it off ourselves by making the south a bad guy. Lets name the civil war the antislavery north and the proslavery south. Right away, if you pause you think wait a minute, most southerners owned slaves. No, three force of the people who fought on the confederate side in the civil war did not own a slave. By the same token, the northern democrats protected slavery with the same aggressive enthusiasm as the southern democrats. Slavery was not a southern thing. Northern democrats were covering for it, also. Right away using the northsouth divide that started to secede. Not denying that, but im same actual argument was between the two parties. Slavery the Democratic Party was in a funk. They had lost their biggest stealing project and i say stealing project because slavery is theft. Slavery is theft. Lincoln call that you work i eat you are stealing a mans labor for his whole life. After slavery the democrats came up with some new stuff. Segregation, jim crow, lynching and the ku klux klan. Those are for landmark Democratic Party policies after slavery. Now come again it may seem like its a exaggeration. Well, wait a minute every segregation law without exception was passed by a Democratic Legislature and signed by democratic governor. There is no exception to this rule. The clan was founded by the delegate to the Democratic National convention and 430 years the ku klux klan and served as domestic terrorist arm of the Democratic Party. This is not my way of putting it. Progressive historian, im courting him from one of his books on reconstruction, the clan in fact had a revival in the early 20th century on account of Woodrow Wilson who showed a pro ku klux klan movie in the white house called birth of a nation. That revived the clan not only in the south, but also in the midwest and the west. In the 20th century the democrats became the party of forced sterilization, eugenics and darwinism and later progressivism became it meant a morphed into a new kind of camp. Now, i mentioned earlier about fascism and how the progressives , their track. The great genius of progressive historic route historiography has been to take the crimes of the Democratic Party and blame them on the south or the Republican Party or america. You saw this with cory booker a couple of days ago in philadelphia. He goes, america was responsible for slavery and segregation and jim crow etc. Etc. No, america wasnt responsible for those things. If america did those things they would still be going on. Some americans did those things and other americans stopped them. So, who did them . The democrats. The Democratic Party, so the genius of progressive storytelling is to take all of the bad stuff that we did and blame it on america. Then, present yourself as the solution to it. Its kind of like poisoning the well and showing up claiming to be the water commissioner. Now, how can anyone get away with this . How can you pull off at intellectual scam of this magnitude that is so comprehensive that you could even fool reagan and d souza and whole bunch of other people. Have you pull this off . Basically you need to control three institutions, academia, hollywood and the media. Those are the three biggest megaphones of our culture and if you dominate those, theres a whole bunch of propaganda that you can put out and theres no one around with a voice loud enough to say different. In fact, the propaganda is so successful that even the people who are your opponents believe it. They come to accept it. The democrats are kind of like lawyers who make illegal defense. The first line of defense is my client was nowhere on the scene of the crime. This is pure denial. But, then when evidence is produced that you are quite was unmistakably on the scene of the crime you say might client was on the scene of the crime, that he did not own a gun and then when you provide evidence that not only did he own a gun, but he actually pulled the trigger the democrats then go yes, but it was in selfdefense. So, the last line of democratic defense against this indictment, which is irrefutable when they are absolutely up against the wall is called the big switch. The big switch. The most important intellectual past done by this movie, Hillarys America the secret history of the Democratic Party in my book by the same title is to debunk and destroy the myth of the big switch. What is the big switch. The basic idea is, well, g now that you kind of have the goods on as we admit we did all this bad stuff, but just kind of at the last minute we change. We democrats saw the light and became the good guys and all of the racist became republicans are in this is the big switch. Now, this is a very cunning arguments because on the surface it appears to be supported by momentous fax. The first fact is that blacks who used to vote republican do in fact vote democrat and so this would seem to support that i did there mustve been some kind of a switch. Dont blacks know who their friends are . Dont they realize that their friends are the democrats . Why else would they switch . Number two, southern whites who used to be monolithically democratic have known fact become largely republican, so that also appears to cooperate the notion of the big switch. I want to tell you why the big switch is a big lie. First of all, lets start with blacks. Blacks did switch, but not because of race. When it did blacks switch from being republicans to be in democrats . Lacks switch during the era of the new deal. Y . Because conditions were economically desperate and essentially they were bribed into doing it. The blacks who switch to new that they were leaving the party of lincoln and emancipation and enjoying the party of segregation and the ku klux klan. But, they did it anyway. Now, i dont blame them because conditions in the depression were terrible. But, longterm this has proven to be a really bad deal for blacks. I will come to that in a minute now, what is turned to southern whites. Winded whites switch from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party . They actually switched between the 1970s and the 1990s. Why did they do that . The reason that to southern whites switched is not because of racism, but it was because of the decline of racism. In other words, if you look at survey data you can see that racism is declining dramatically in the south in the second half of the 20th century, so as the south becomes less a racist it becomes more republican. You can just chart of those two things that you can see that there is an inverse connection between as racism goes down in the south the republican of the south becomes stronger. In other words, the Republican Party won over the nonracist in the south who identified with patriotism, Economic Opportunity and social conservativism. Christianity. Now, did the races dixie grant in the south become republicans . The answer is no. The whole case that claims a big switch relies on one guy, strom thurmond. Strom thurmond was a dixiecrat and did become a republican, but he was pretty much the only one. You can make a list of dozens if not hundreds of racist dixiecrats and he could do this easily yourself and you will see the fast vast majority of them remain in the Democratic Party. They felt more comfortable in the party of bigotry then they would in the Republican Party. This is a fact. So, the big switch is bogus. Didnt Richard Nixon have a southern strategy . No, Richard Nixon did not have a southern strategy and if he had a southern strategy and did not work because the deep south went for wallace. Wallace is the guy whos segregation today segregation tomorrow segregation forever. I dont have to tell you that wallace was a democrat he carried the deep south on next and. This may all seem like im fighting about history, but its very important history. Why is that . Because the moral capital of the Democratic Party comes from the idea that the Democratic Party is a good guy. Theyre the good guys and have always been the good guys. They have always been fighting for the little guy in the ordinary man, fighting for immigrants and latinos and blacks. In fact, the Democratic Party is the deadly enemy of the ordinary guy. They have been an anti immigrant party from the beginning. They have been the enslavers and segregate or zen tormentors and lynch or zen murderers of blacks. You might say, what about today, what about today. I was in philadelphia couple of days ago and that i decided to take a walk and about a mile away you see a very interesting site, a real contrast with the convention and that site is i will call it the urban plantation. Now, this may seem like a little bit, d souza, you are being a little bit wrong here, plantations. Are you comparing the old slave plantation to whats happening in innercity philadelphia . Actually, yes. Lets look at the features of the old slave plantation. I will mention five. I draw this from the historian kenneth stamp in his book on the plantation called the peculiar institution. He points out that on the old slave plantation we had ramshackle dwellings. In other words, rundown living quarters called slave quarters. Numeral two, a Family Structure in complete disarray. Obviously children could be bought and sold under slavery, so the Family Structure was ruined with a lot of the legitimacy. Number two, failing to sit family disintegration. Number three, a high degree of violence needed to keep the place intact. Why is that . Slavery is based on force. Yet to force people to work. Its not easy to do that if you dont have whips or the display of actual force. Number four, everyone has a meager provision, so you basically have food. If you get sick they call the doctor. That healthcare. I dont think they called it obamacare in those days, but there are no opportunities. Dont get ahead. Everyone is stuck where they are and there is no advancement. No education and nihilism, hopeless despair. Now, i ask you, is it not a fact that if we walk today through innercity oakland, detroit, chicago, philadelphia, dallas that you see exactly the same features today . The rural plantation and mix characteristics have been transplanted and this is particularly interesting since the same party and ineffective the same people are running both of the difference is that in the older days the democrats were stealing peoples labor and today they are only interested in these people or their vote. Thats all they want. Thats all they care about and, in fact, they have a vested interested that those peoples lives never get better, never get better. Trillions of dollars have been spent to fix these places and they never get fixed. They are about where they were 1968. How is this possible . Anytime someone wants to gentrify the innercity, High Tech Companies come and say we will create lofts and new Living Spaces and create hightech companies, starbucks will come in and everything will be saved with a lot of new letters of opportunity and the progressives fight tooth and nail. Why did he do that . Because if you give people letters of opportunity, they have no further reason to want to be democrats and the Democratic Party knows that. So, the point im trying to make and i will wrapped up here, history is not dead. People say we need to know history so we dont repeat. No, you need to know history because you are living at. Histories with us today, echoes of the passer in the present. For most of my career i was a writer and speaker and the reason i have gone into making movies is movies appeal to the head in the hearts. Movies are a way to reach a wider audience. Movies have the potential of recreating and telling stories that people can see and identify with. Yet, if you see the movie and it makes all kinds of extraordinary claims and you go what and a lot of people go what, its substantiated in my book, so i seen the film for example i have this line, which has caused a lot of peoples jaws to drop that in 1860 the year of the civil war no republican owned a slave. None. All of the slaves in the entire country were owned by democrats. Again, people go, are you serious, is this really true. It is true. The left wing critics are thrashing around trying to scream at the movie, scream at the book. They cant find one little fact in the entire movie or the entire book that they can even plausibly dispute let alone refute. They cant do it and so they engage in their usual rhetoric this is paranoid, delusional. Its a squid like cloud of empty rhetoric and me, i love it. I love this stuff because i love seeing my opponents thrashing around helplessly, looking for weapons and not being able to find any. So, i urge you as young people to learn. Equip yourselves and become very dangerous americans. Our times demand it. Normally, we dont need it. In fact, normally we dont even need to know about the founding that much. We have a great country, kind of like your house you dont need to know the blueprints of your house. You just with on the couch, walk in the hallways and its only when your house begins to shake that you say i better get up in the attic and figure out how this thing was put together. We are living in such a time and if so i went to encourage you to be smart, strategic, creative and brave. Aristotle says that bravery is the most important courage, the most important of all the virtues because it takes courage to carry out all of the other virtues and that is very much needed today. Creativity, knowledge and bravery. Armed with those things, we can help america. We can restore america. We can save america. Its been a very bad obama period we have been living through. American influence is down and America Obama has double the national debt. Hillary i think is even worse. Hillary is worse than obama because obama is at least ideological or keswick goal. We do not agree with the go, but his goal is principled. He has a direction he wants to take america, to remake america. The clintons are bonnie and clyde. They have been running racket since the arkansas days. When they were in the white house they were renting out the lincoln bedroom for money, taking stuff off the walls later forced to return it. Bigtime racketeers, felons criminals and then onto the Clinton Foundation. My gosh, we have had corruption in politics before. The daily racket in chicago. We have never had a secretary of state who figured out how to make money on Foreign Policy by collecting money from canadian billionaires who want mineral rights, by selling out the russian, by intercepting aid money, for god sake intended for earthquake relief in haiti. It doesnt get to haiti, it gets to the coffers of the clintons and haitians are standing outside the Clinton Foundation, wheres earthquake money and this is going on in the media is nowhere to be seen. Why is that . Because its super embarrassing its one thing for democrats to rob from the rich, but robbing from the four portrays a certain distaste. Progressives decide, lets kind of leave that off the news and not highlight that one. Is not going to make our gal look all that good. This is our predicaments work this is our time. Our generation, the reagan generation is handing the baton to yours. May you be worthy of it. Thank you very much. [applause]. We have a few minutes for questions and i will be delighted to answer a few. If you are short i will be able to take a lot of them. I go to the university of colorado and i was wondering what do you expect Hillary Clinton to focus on with her speech tonight . I think hillary will focus on the fact that the democrats have always been the party of civil rights and human rights and women. She will claim the historic first. I think she will be kind of a historic first. We have never had a female mob boss run this country, so she would be a historic first. No demo we will hear the usual dog and pony show and our movie actually directly contrary contradicts, so im looking forward to hillary. She will give you the official story and then Hillarys America will give you the real story. University of nebraska kearney. As a future history teacher, found this riveting and interesting and my question is, do you see this trend in the Education System everchanging back to a more true historical narrative and if so like are there any specific educational policies you would advocate in order to see that change in Public Education . 30 years ago as progresses dominated the universitys conservatives had almost no response because its not enough to speak on monday live on tuesday. The professors live their. We would have to start 300 campuses to rival the domination of the left. The beauty today is because of technology and other means of delivering information, movies being one of them, this disinfectant of truth and faxes crushing because in some ways precisely because the left has been hiding so much and sweep it under the rug and that what gives emotional power to my movie. The reason i can tell you something you dont know is that it has been kept from you and once it is out there it is kind a challenge of putdown that got went. If i am wrong, show me and ive still waiting and i will be with waiting a long time, so todays fax are powerful, but we have to critically deploy them. If i just noted in an oped no one would see it, but by sticking it on 1200 screens around the country its a bit hard to ignore. My name and the rising freshman pills broke college. My state switch to the Republican Party. The left still uses that party switching as a result of republicans being racist. How can we refute that . The recitation is in a book by byron shafer called the end of southern exceptionalism and looks to see and devised the south into the most racist people in the nonracist and it shows that the most racist people never switched. They felt comfortable staying in the Democratic Party. The nonracist in the south moved to the Republican Party because of Economic Opportunity. Remember, racism was a technique to provide psychic consolation to the poor white man, a way of saying to the poor white man your life sucks, but the good news is you belong to this exclusive club called for whites only, so even though you are unbelievably stupid and unbelievably unsuccessful we will still put you on a total poll that is higher than the most educated black man peered this was Democratic Party political strategy for more than half a century and thats why the democrats held the poor whites. Thats why the poor whites never left the Democratic Party. Its important to fight this big switch nonsense. There is no out because the evidence is the other way and its important to be familiar, so get the byron shafer Richard Johnson book, get my book and together there to our kind of like one of those mohammed ali 12 punches. Ive hear from George Washington university and the whole email scandal and the fbi declined to recommend indictment against Hillary Clinton, what can we do to get back to the rule of law . Number one, you have to expose the kernel of whats going on. A mean look what these recent scandals show, number one the democrats, the party called democrats are rigging down elections. They are running a soviet style election in america. Amazing. Number two, when you listen to the private conversation democrats you realize that the party of racism has not changed all that much. There is hispanic initiatives and they call it the taco Bell Initiative and make all kinds of fun of blacks, homosexuals and they want to use the Bernie Sanders alleged atheism against him. This is the party in a factual private you may say uncensored speech and so imagine, i mean, if this was trump and the republicans the media would be so all over this. As it is, it is once again a progressive embarrassment to the people at npr, people at abc, cbs, the new york times. This is their job. How do we covered up, how do we minimize it, we cant deny it, but how do we make it a no big deal. How do we make kind of a lets move on. This is how these people think. Thats why its important for us young people to think how great influence the institutions of, hollywood, comedy and academia because we cant allow the left to continue with the current monopoly in those areas. Yes. Im from connecticuts. I recently saw your movie, Hillarys America and it was amazing, but one of the questions that came to mind was how did you do this . Most of the movies in the theaters and everything in hollywood has a bias, liberal bias, so my question really is was there any resistance from the democratic side, from the government when getting your movie into theaters . You really did expose the true side of the Democratic Party and the evils that they do. So, the left, it was a discovery for me that the left controls hollywood, which is movie production, but it doesnt control Movie Distribution. The Movie Distribution is complete with different, so by allying herself with the distributors and others of people that own legal, cinemark in the big theater chains i went to them and they said d souza if you can get people lined up along the block we are happy to put your movie in our theaters and thats i needed to hear, so we are not part of hollywood. We filmed this whole movie in dallas. This keeps us outside of the influence of highwood people to be able to put it out. The moment the movie comes out, 300 critics are deployed to destroy it and they will go and absolutely trashed the movie. Happily, most of these people are sort of ignoramuses full of violent hatred, but they dont know anything, so fighting against me as actually having 300 to one is pretty good sod for me in terms of knowledge. On sartre and not say there are progressives who are smart. Believe me they will ultimately the point powerful historians to go after the movie and the book and im ready for that, but the point is this is the beginning and its all these ridiculous people writing out of Greenwich Village and so on and make just come up with really big words to impress themselves. So we will get 5 in rotten tomatoes, but we will get 90 from the audience. The effort to block this movie has not worked. It isnt moving and i think we have showed a path that other conservatives can follow. The important thing to realize about the movie is you dont make movies to do messaging. You make movies to entertain and Michael Moore knows this. People go to the movies for fun. You make an entertaining movie and you can do a lot of messaging. Try to make a movie people always say to me make a movie on obamacare or immigration. No, you have to make a movie that is a storyline that has drama, plot, narrative, character, suspense and this movie is a thriller because hillary is involved and there is elements of horror, a little bit of a horror movie. [applause]. Im from Coastal Carolina university and i was wondering if you see a Bright Future for attracting more minorities to the Republican Party back into the Republican Party . How do you see that happening if so . Two things are going on, one is minorities and particularly blacks have been sold a storyline, a storyline is that the Republican Party is the party of bigotry, so its important to correct that perception, so the Republican Party is a party of emancipation , anti lynching, and a separation in the Republican Party has fought for immigrants and for blacks and minorities and through the vast majority of history. Number two, the way the democrats hold blacks, i thought of myself i came at the age of 17 to america and you feel a sense of vertigo when you come to a new country. Its scary. You dont know anyone. You have no family, no credit and youre making away in a new land and the Republican Party says climate the ladder of opportunity. If you dont know where that letter is and then the democrats come and say listen, you dont need a ladder. We are standing on the top of the building and we will let down a rope. You hang onto the rope. Hanging on his easier than climbing and we will pull you up. The things that blacks and hispanics immigrants to realize is that democrats have no intention of pulling your way up. The right is pull you a little way up and hold and hold. Why is that . Because then you are suspended in permanent to dependency. If you archly climbed up you could walk off. They can have that. They have to have it where you are supportive of them and dependent on the rope where you know that if they let go, down they go and that keeps them tied to the Democratic Party. Its a new form of servitude going on in america except its a more subtle form of certitude that the good old thrash them and keep them down on the plantation of the older Democratic Party. We need to expose the urban plantation. I wasnt in real prison but a Confinement Center but it was kind of prison. First of all even as a conservative it makes you open your eyes because im very up on america but i am not so up on the way things are done by government. If you asked me when i was young, 95 of all people accused of a federal crime plead guilty i would have said that is because most of them did it, that is why they plead guilty, government is right to go after them. Now that i know more i realize that is not the case. Government has ways of making innocent people plead guilty, unbelievable, essentially the plea bargain system, say they want to get a doctor, they have done nothing wrong. Our federal statute is so voluminous and accordion like they can find something if not from your tax returns able find Something Like to do you administer Pain Medicine to mrs. Smith . We will charge you with Illegal Administration of illegal drugs. She was in pain, i am a doctor. I know but you exceeded the allowable dose of Pain Medicine. We will charge you with a crime that will put you away five years but if you plead guilty will get three months and you can Practice Medicine again so is your choice . Ruin your entire life . Be locked up for 5 years and destroy your relationship with your friends, undermine your family, or take a plea . This is the strongarm tactic routinely uses. I use to believe better 9 guilty men go free than one lots of innocent people are being locked up and i locked up right now. It is clears your mind of a duly eyed view of the way the world is. Countries like venezuela where my wife grew up for me, india, our countries are run by gangs. We like to believe it is totally different here. It is different not totally different. This has given my conservatism a grittier, more solid foundation. Thank you for your attention. See the movie. It is the fate of a movie depends on how it does in the opening couple weeks. If it does well in the beginning it spreads out. People say how do i get the movie seen by independents, go see it this week or this coming weekend, you are putting fuel into our rocket. You should use your influence which most of us use the actual influence. You say i only have 300 friends on facebook but they have 300 friends on facebook. You are like a little publisher and if you use your influence to get information out, you are able to change the way
