[applause] and then finally, can we please thank member services, mariana and her team? they are exceptional. [applause] so my kids aren't here today. one is in finals, the other in college. i wish they were here, but i have my husband here today. he is amazing. he is not often at meetings, so please join me in giving a big thanks to my husband. [applause] finally, i want to thank all of you, the 168. you guys are incredible. i said this earlier this week when i talked to each of you and i get to know you, you are volunteers. you love your party. you love your state. you give so much to shape our future. but you are so unique, firemen, police, lawyers, a sheep farmer come amazing talent, broadcasters, amazing, but this is not about me. this is about we. this is a better country and what we're doing together so i applaud you and i thank you for everything you have given. give 168 a big round of applause. [applause] so i got to go to a lot of her states this year and spent a lot of time on the road with you and got to see you in campaign with you. you give countless hours. you deal with the biased media of the challenges of raising money and doing things because you care and love our country so much, but i want to break down a little bit of the hard work produce this last election. we won the popular vote by 4 million votes. if this was a presidential year , we would have one once the electoral college with 297 votes. that is a good sign heading into 2024. the rnc, we don't get to pick the candidates. the voters do. they are the right people to pick that. we don't get to call the plays and say what the campaigns run on, but we provide resources and build a critical infrastructure to help candidate win. this cycle we protected every republican governor. we sent new republican senators from states like ohio and north california and missouri. florida is now a red state. four years ago was a recount, iowa is a red state, ohio is a red state and north carolina had a red wave election. we flipped the supreme court in both ohio and north carolina and for the first time 70 years we won every statewide office in iowa. we engaged 1 million volunteers, made over 100 million voter contacts, we built 38 minority community centers and group our party as a result. we broke fundraising records and transferred a record amount of money to all 56 states and territories parties. we tackled election integrity head-on in engaged in over cases 100 of litigation. put 80,000 poll watchers and poll workers on the ground in key states, and build a new election integrity software for reporting. we are working overtime to learn lessons from the midterms, what went right and what went wrong. but let's be clear, we did fire nancy pelosi. kevin mccarthy -- [applause] kevin mccarthy, different californian, is now speaker of the house and we are already holding joe biden accountable. the issues this country was facing on november 7 did not disappear on november 8. we still have a massive border crisis. 233,000 illegal immigrants and 630 million lethal doses of sentinel crossing the border. i just went to the border. they are still dealing with so many problems. the horrors they are seeing, and the fact they can't go to anybody because if you speak out, you get fired. joe biden has turned his pack on so many people the border, and the rest of this country, raging inflation. december was the worst jobs report all line of terrible jobs reports. we still have a failed president who refuses to take responsibility for the failures that he is creating and the suffering he's creating for the american people that we are fighting for every day. nothing we do is more important than making sure joe biden is a one-term president. [applause] but in order to do that, we have to be unified, we have to be unified in that effort. i'm reminded of a bible verse that abraham lincoln famously used from the gospel of matthew. every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. we have got to work together. we are going to continue building our historic election integrity program. we are going to continue unprecedented legal battles against the left including our lawsuit against google. we are going to double down on bringing new voters into our party, and expand on the 38 community centers that saw a positive shift in minority voters coming to our party. our community centers worked. minority voters shifted toward the gop. asian voters shifted 17 points. black voters shifted four points. hispanic voters shifted ten -- 10 points. in fact, we cut the democrats advantage to hispanic voters in half. in 20, they had a d+ advantage, and then a d+ 20 advantage. that is progress. i've traveled everywhere across the country. in one of the great joys i had was getting to meet our great candidates and meeting families and getting to know them. i just want to talk about a couple. one from arizona, he has a son, of mexican immigrants whose father drove a bus and what worked multiple jobs to get the -- give his kids a chance at the american dream. he brought his father to one of our rnc hispanic community centers, the one we built in tucson, and when they reached the door, his dad said, do you remember? this is the exact parking lot i used to wash cars in on the weekends to make extra money for our family? and that this is where your offices that's going to make my son a congressman. that's our story. she is amazing. she served 10 years flying helicopters in the navy. came home and said i've got to serve more and do more, she decided to become a nurse and live near a military base in virginia, and she decided i need to stand up for veterans in my state and ran for congress. she worked out of our veterans office in virginia and now is a member of congress who flipped a seat in a key district this past election. let's leave the meeting ready to go forward as one movement and deliver for the american people. we already have this underway. we've flipped to governorships in louisiana and kentucky, and kept a governors mansion in mississippi, but above all, we will nominate the next president and vice president of the united states. and we will do so without the biased commission on presidential debate. [cheers and applause] i want to close from a final quote from a citizen of michigan, and i think it is fitting for us today. coming together since the beginning, staying together is progress, but working together is success. we have to come together after this meeting and focus on what we have ahead of us. you know, i know, some days it is hard to wake up and joe biden's america, it is, you wake up and worry about the future of our country. so why wake up every day thinking a few things, how blessed i am to be an american, how grateful i am to live in the greatest nation on earth, how privileged i am to be in the fight to protect the nation and the freedoms that we love so much. and if i'm having a really bad day, i think to myself, nancy pelosi no longer is speaker of the house. [laughter] and that puts a big smile on my face, but we have more work to do. in 2024, we are going to keep the house but fire chuck schumer and fire joe biden and we are going to take back the senate and take back the white house and we are going to do it together. [applause] let's go forward. and let's win in thank you so 2024. much, god bless you. god bless the united states of america. [cheers and applause] it is my pleasure to introduce cochairman for the purpose of giving his final report. >> good morning. thank you rana, for your leadership, partnership and friendship. i want to think ron kaufman, vicki, and kyle drummer, you have been amazing to work with. thank you very much. and doyle web served during my first two years as general counsel, thank you for your leadership. to the entire rnc team i appreciate all the work you've given to help republicans up and down the ballot. we have a lot of memories together and am going to always treasure them. in a huge shadow team cochair , you are amazing to work with, your skills and your intelligence, we punch above our weight class. and pierce, defense incredible to work with, the sky is the limit in terms of potential for this woman, she was able to work on so many different things at once and got them done faster than you could ever imagine. cole avery is about to work for congressman matt -- max miller, and cole, i called him and warned him about investments -- endless rants about democrats and lsu athletics and satterfield was in here today, she's incredible as well, she got a gift with people and can deal with presidents, vice presidents, governors, senators, congressmen, ceos and she's going to be joining in world-class private equity firm, really happy for her and her future. and i would like to thank my old team my first term, amanda smith and allie beth callan who is filled with the rnc i want to thank the thousands and thousands of grassroots volunteers who are not here today. they are an inspiration to me and i know an inspiration to every single one of us in this room. we've got to always remember this, these patriots make it happen for republicans across this country. last but certainly not least, thanks to you, the 168 for all you do in your states and your territories. you are all leaders and your selfless and your commitment to our republic. your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed and republicans all over appreciate the impact you've made and will continue to make. i have so many great memories for so many of you. i gave my acceptance speech in albuquerque about four years ago today january 2019. i realized i had to get my game together. i have no idea what i was getting into when i arrived at that resort and met richard porter on the treadmill and he asked me, are you ready? i said yes, i think so but man i think about how far we've come together, it's been amazing. [laughter] we had coped with covid craziness together. i remember when my team went to north carolina, with chairman whatley, and we had to do in -- do a radio interview at the radio station within station's parking lot because we didn't have our vaccine passes with us, they would not do us -- they would not let us do it in the building. we cannot let them do that to us ever again. by getting to know you, has been a pleasure. all of you share something unique and special with me, foreign's, -- four instance. i learned that our esteemed chairman from alabama, once held the world record for walking on legos barefoot. 5.2 miles. [laughter] you ought to win that record before the presidential race hit -- heats up. i encourage you to take the time to get to know each other. i'm a better man today because of the influence you've all had on my life. i'm proud of the work our team accomplished during my two terms. we flew hundreds of thousands of miles, performed thousands of hours of grassroots and fundraising activities for all 50 states and territories . conducted hundreds of media his -- hits sharing our republican message. i enjoyed every single minute of it. i will be here today with only fond memories and a commitment to you that i will always remain your partner in our effort to advance conservative ideals and republican leadership. members of the 168 iq, i love our nation. the future of this nation is at stake. our country is divided. democrats and their partners and legacy media, big tech and even wall street are on the march to fundamentally transform our country into a socialist hellhole under the thumb of washington d. c. we cannot ever let this happen. [applause] we have open borders, dangerous cities, green new deal and the list goes on and on and on and don't forget, internationally we are leading from behind again. so thank god, we won back the house and speaker kevin mccarthy. [applause] republican leadership will turn the ship around and shape the future for 2024 presidential nominees agenda if we remain united, the republican house will stop the madness, and transform a lawless nation. the american people deserve a government that works for them and is accountable to them. as i've said before, we are not servants of the smoke, washington d. c. works for us. my hope is for a republican party united behind our conservative ideals which stand in stark contrast to the loony left. healthy debate is a good thing and a critical part of our democracy. but the minute we leave here today we should commit to working together to achieve our shared goals. the future of our nation depends on this. so today is not goodbye, it's the end of a story and a long book that is the rnc. the party of lincoln will endure for generations to come. may it always be a beacon for life, liberty, freedom and justice for all. and as lincoln himself once said, my dream is a place in a time where america will once again be seen as the last best hope of earth. it's been my honor serving all of you, state parties grassroots volunteers. it has made my life full. now i get to go back to my family is in the back. [applause] annabelle, gigi, thank you i love you. thank
