It looks hard at electability in a year where they have been hampered by the campaign so far. They have been hindered by it. He has been helped by the majority of the primaries to this point have not been closed. I believe she only needs 35 or 37 in order to question the nomination. This is where sanders has to rely on a surge of democratic voters. He needs young progressive democrats to come out in new york. Look, the reason this is a big litmus test, it has a huge minority. And john kasich last night in the town hall said the rules are bizarre. But you know what, the Convention Rules are what they are as well and i believe theyre going to work for me. How so . I think john kasich has been saying a long time, we are going to an open convention after the first ballot, it will go to the delegates who will take the process very seriously. And thats where hes confident that he can come out with the nomination. Where does the confidence come from do you think, greg . He said were getting momentum. Hasnt won a delegate in a month. Is the option you hope the other two destroy each other and seem unelectable . Not necessarily. But that might have already happened or is starting to snowball. I think the confidence comes from his experience. He has 30 years in government. Hes been governor on of ohio and very popular in that state. So i think he has seen this before. And hes confident that he can come out of an open convention and then beat clinton in the fall. How concerned are you about what Organization Means to the person you support Going Forward . Politics has never been that way. It seems you are dealing with a better organization. In fact, trump is saying it. Organization is important. Even he though the rules are unfair, i dont see them changing. So it is important in the event that you get to a brokered or open convention. That being said, i think donald trump has a real chance at 1,237. You have new jersey, pennsylvania. The math ahead looks very good. There is a good chance of him getting to 1,237. He has to win a percentage of delegates that he has not won. It is a hard path, a narrow path. Trump is very upset. The system is rigged and it seems to hurt me more. Raw vote, 37 . Delegate vote, put it up, 43 . How does it make the case that the system is hurting him more than anyone else when he is doing better in the system than with regular people. This is complicated. They vote on the first ballot. They are obligated to vote for trump. Many of the delegates are actually not trump supporters. They are cruz supporters or they support other candidates. So that 43 looks a lot, a lot smaller. They are not trump people. They are just obligated to vote for him in the first ballot. Thats politics. It is always up in the air. You have to work the system. This allows people to make their choices. And the thing about it is that people dont understand, a lot of people are voting for ted cruz because they feel that is a way to stop donald trump. Ted cruz or john kasich. John kasich is not going to give trump an opening. What you want is a concentrated number of delegates away from trump so that it goes beyond the first ballot. Right now i think it is going to be a contested convention no matter what. We in new jersey have our primary in june. We deserve to be heard. We have a right to be heard. If we vote for john kasich we have a right to be at the convention that way. He basically said thats what hes banking on. He is banking on a third vote at the third ballot. Right. And thats when he would come to the fourth. Listen to how he justifies his path. Why would a delegate pick you if the only state you have actually won is ohio. Lets see how many delegates we accumulate. Why would you pick somebody who cant win in the fall. Let me tell you what the stakes are. I believe if you pick these other guys, youll not only lose the white house you will lose the court, you will lose the United States senate. Why cant ted cruz win . Theyre too divisive. Theyre too negative. The governor, if he only has a fraction of the delegates going in that donald trump or ted cruz has, wont the voters feel their will has been subverted. Who are the superdelegates . It makes it feel rigged. Why do you need these superdelegates . Make the case for why you believe superdelegates should not be . If we believe in democracy, shouldnt it be one person, one vote. Shouldnt it be whoever has the momentum to win and take it all the way, shouldnt that person be the person who has at the end of the day the nomination . Now, Hillary Clinton has 200 plus delegates lead right now of pledged delegates. If you look back at 2008, which you remember very well. I do. It was neck and neck. Obama takes the lead in may. Then senator obama. By the time Hillary Clinton decides to get out of the race he has a 21 superdelegate lead. It winds up being the party will decide this not the people. Fair criticism . No. Then senator obama had a lead over senator clinton in earned delegates by 100 to 150. Even without the superdelegates, then senator obama would have been the nominee. The lead is narrow. But because of the way the delegate system works, there are no winner take all states. It is impossible for someone once they fall behind by a couple hundred delegates as senator sanders now is, to catch up. Is that good . I dont know if its good or bad, but its the way the system works. Its bad. Its bad for democracy. If we are going to get these disaffected voters into it, its bad. And we need to do something about it. You know what else is bad for democracy . Saying vote for me, the other guy stinks. They are saying youre wrong on the war in iraq. I wasnt. Okay. We got it. What are we going to do now. That has been falling by. And personal barbs, not you stink, you stink. But to that effect. Is that what we need . Its not what we need. We can argue where it started. Its not what we need. Our position has always been let us speak of the issues. And we want to spe of the issues. The larger issues. The issues that are important to the American People. Not simply whose email and who did all of those things. We said it from the beginning. We tried to maintain that. New york is a tough place to do it, though. Do you believe, does the campaign believe, that Hillary Clinton cannot be president . Hillary clinton, if chosen by the people, of course she can be president. And a very worthy president. He didnt put the resources into it. You need to know when to file, when to meet the requirements, the number of signatures. It is a quirky process. It is a complicated process. It is a legalistic process. But it is our process. It is called democracy. Live with it. Stop being an infantile 5yearold saying when you dont win, the rules dont work. When you do work, lo and behold, the rules do work. It seems to suggest that donald trump doesnt know how the rules work and his children are going to be unable to vote for him in the New York Primary because they didnt make the deadline. Let me read what they said. His children put out a statement yesterday. New york is one of the most owner us state to change Party Affiliation for a closed primary. The deadline passed in 2015. And whats going to happen if it doesnt go to 12237 before w get to the convention . What does happen. And how does it all play out in a Gop Convention . The key numbers you want to see here is this 95 and this 57. All right . Because most of overwhelming majority of delegates are bound on the first vote of the convention to how the primary and caucus results turned out. This is Donald Trumps best moment. Hes winning those primaries and caucuses in big number, many of them. Form of republican democracy. Not gop. Where people voted for you to be the delegate. You got picked to represent their votes. Not to just change based on anything else. The problem becomes if you dont hit 1237, 50 plus one on the first vote, it goes to a second vote. And there only 57 of delegates are unbound. So that is a majority that become unbound. That is where the scramble begins. And that is what ted cruz and john kasich are fighting for every day now. Lets talk that. Pull up the map. You ready . Yeah. One place hey thats not the map. There you go . No it isnt. Oh look what youre doing. This is what happens that is what happens. Can i show you whats going on in North Carolina . South carolina. Yes. South carolina. Lets do that one. Trump has the lions share of all the different district, okay. But something sneaky is going on where you can still court delegates away from him. You say sneaky. I do. And donald trump would say sneaky. Ted cruz would say this is how the rules are set up. So it is not sneaky. Donald trump won nearly every county in the state. He won every delegate in the state that night. It was a huge victory. But now they are in the process of assigning the human beings that are going to be the delegates on the floor. They do that through county and local processes and ted cruz was able to make headway and identify some delegates that will be loyal to him in successive ballots. Once you become unbound. How many rounds are they bound for in South Carolina . Just one. Okay. Lets go to colorado. Colorado you can use sneaky more. The state party has the right to make its own rules. But these rules are unusually divorcing the vote from the regular primary system. Last fall, they highlighted colorado as they were trying to walk us through a process and they that i had colorado is a different animal. There is no primary or caucus that deals with president ial preference. So you dont have to really worry about colorado. But indeed we do. Your right it is a different process. Purely based on the state dimension, the local gathers of activists where they get assigned to become delegates but it is not based on any kind of caucus or primary result. And that is why ted cruz went in there this weekend and he was orz organized and he won all 34 delegates available. What you are allowed to promise and not . Because the rules are fuzzy. You can let them have rides on private jets. Hmm, donald trump has one of those. You can wine and dine them. You can give them expensive swag bags. Who doesnt like those . You can also give them deals, political deals and platforms. Then what you cant give them, supposedly you cant have them take money directly. That makes sense. They cant sell their votes. How are those two different . Not only this how are these different from all the promises you can make them and all the perks. As you can see the rules are really lax. They were created 40 years ago after the 1976 fight between reagan and ford. There is no rules actually so the fec is looking into this now. One thing also not allowed is no corporations, no labor unions are allowed to actually give money to delegates. Those groups are out but individual donors can. And remember back then super pacs werent invented. All of these campaigns have super packs now. They have been paying for their advertising. But in this format you dont have the opponent. You dont have yelling. You dont have insult, at least hopefully not because these are your family members. You might consider that a good thing or a bad thing in this form. But what you do get is an unusually personal view of the candidate as the person. The entire kasich family, center stage at a cnn town hall. Im not that great, okay. Im just honestly, im doing the best i can. Youre pretty good at respecting us. Well yeah. So as the legitimate argument to make that the rules are rigged in favor of the people in washington dictating who the president should be. They knew about the rules. They were done last year. This is about being organized and getting after it. Right. But the idea that cruz is against the washington establishment but hes kind of working to get the washington establishment on his side is a good argument for trump to make. Another argument to be made. Rudy giuliani. Not known as a man in the middle. Okay. You have an opinion, you have it. Period. On this one, i am voting for donald trump but i am not endorsing donald trump. What is that about . Difference is joining the campaign. Im voting for them. Ill do whatever they would like me do but im not part of the campaign apparatus. I dont speak for the campaign. You are a big public official. You endorse people. When i endorse somebody, i join their campaign. I join their Campaign Staff. The Campaign Staff sends me out to do speeches and do things like that. Donald is a very very good friend. I believe he would be the best candidate. I think he would be the person i would like too see win. I dont know his Campaign Staff. I dont know who they are. Why dont you go the full christie. Because i dont know his Campaign Staff. Maybe christie does. You want to keep it this way. Im voting for donald trump. Im urging othering to vote for donald trump but im not joining the campaign in anyway. I dont know the campaign. I dont know what apparatus is there. I dont know who the people are. Do you have concerns . Sure. Yeah. I agree with donald probably on 8 out of 10 positions, which is good enough for me. Thats what i agreed with Ronald Reagan on. He was my hero. But i have concerns an immigration and thr tlings i have to talk out first before i go as far as a endorsement. Build up of military. Id like to hear more about what hes going to do. Put more troops in nato in order to push putin back a bit. Im a very conservative republican on Foreign Policy. And on domestic policy, social issues i tend to be moderate. Some republicans even think im liberal. On Foreign Policy and economic im very conservative. And ive heard a lot about supporting the troops which i like. But i havent heard a lot on how much are we going to build up this military . For example we need to double the size of our navy to push china back in the south china sea. I like the idea that donald wants to conduct economic competition with china. I think that is very very smart. One of the few people talking about it. One of the few people who understands it. But you need to couple that with a very very strong navy. With a two ocean navy that pushes back the militaristic instincts. And how do you do that . So that becomes something that as an open issue. The delegates if he doesnt get 50 plus one. That it is 1237 number. It goes then to convention. What is your concern that happens after that first round of voting. My concern is if they go way off the charts. If trump is four, five, six eight votes short. They got to give it to him. Why . Why . Because the will of the Republican Party is basically to have him as the candidate. If hes a lot short and cruz is close, it would be legitimate to make a choice between him and cruz to. Go to a candidate who has no votes or 300 voted compared to their thousand i would be telling the grassroots of the Republican Party we dont care about you. Starter. I like john a lot. I think he would make a good Vice President. I think he would make a good president. He doesnt. Everybody doesnt. They saul that. But the reality is john has too few votes. The grassroots of the Republican Party have selected two people as the two they like the most. It is between the two of them. You have concerns. Lets take off your public figure hat and put on the usa hat, the prosecutor hat. You have concerns about what people may do or not do where delegates are involved in trying to curry favor. What are your concerns . I think you have to be really careful. Each would have been these. They should probably get me or an assistant u. S. Attorney to come in and lecture them. You cant offer anything of value in terms for a vote. This is not just a private club. You are getting a nomination to a federal office. You can take them on private planes and fly them places. I. Kbrae but better not be a discussion like hey you got my private plane and i got your vote. No quid pro quo. Sounds gray. No quid pro quo. Have to be careful. For example you cant offer the vice presidency beforehand in exchange for support. You have to be careful how you do this. What do you think happens here in new york . I think in new york donald gets over 55 or better. I think he wins if not all of the congressional delegates, most of them. You have to remember something about new york Republican Party that nobody understands. Weve taken out of the Republican Party a lot of conservatives. There is a conservative party. It is not like new jersey or connecticut. So 3 to 5 of people who would normally be conservative voting for cruise, they are out of the party. Right. So this is basically a trump kasich party as opposed to cruz. Cruz really doesnt have a big core of support. Plus his remarks about new york make him a figure of some ridicule by the daily news and places like that. Where do you come down on that . Yeah probably. Or do you think he was talking about new york in general. I think he was talking about new york political ideology. I think it was he said it in a way that made it sound like he was talking about all of new york. So hes got to take responsibility for that. Like donald has to for some of the things he said. He said it in a way which you had a right to interpret it as he insulted all of us. But that isnt what cruz meant. What he meant is what he regards is very liberal left wing ideology. I can tell you that my client was not the aggressor in terms of the behavior that happened after the accident. And my apologies, it is raquel smith as the wife who is recovering in the hospital. Other video thats come to light. The attorney representing the alleged gunman in this case has come forward to say, look, it did not just begin and end at this intersection. And to light now is this video thats come forward. It is Surveillance Video from earlier in the evening just a few blocks down the street. And it shows the orange hummer that is being driven by hayes the alleged gunman. And behind it though is the silver mercedes suv that its believed will smith and his wife are driving. And at one point you see the suv come close and the hummer appears to pull to the side as if to maybe stop and inspect. And instead the silver suv goes around and the hummer gives chase. This is exactly why the defense attorney has said there is a lot more to this story. And it is also whats intensifying the questions this morning alisyn. Absolutely. The race for the democratic president ial nomination heating up over policy with the New York Primary just a week away. I started cosponsoring the dream act back in 2002 or 3. And i consistently did that. Senator sanders by contrast was supporting vigilantes. Secretary clinton and her state Department Worked to export fracking throughout the world. In my view that is unacceptable. Joining us to talk about all this is former new York City Council speaker christine quinn, who was favored to succeed Michael Bloomburg but lost to bill de blasio. Knows all too well the challenges Hillary Clinton faces now in new york. They say they are talking about policy. But are their attacks getting too barbed . I think it is very clear that senator sanders knows that it is basically impossible for him to win this nomination. Secretary clinton does he . Because he said he still has a path. Hes eating into her delegate count and he has a path. The math is clear. There is no way for him to get enough delegates and i think that is why you see senator sanders really taking the low road and why you see him, you know, coming out with thesis attacks that are really largely baseless and very [ inaudible ] and i think that is often unfortunately what happens when a candidate see it is road coming to an end. And he says that her attacks arent fair. Particularly about how he supported vigilantes. E said no i do not support vigilantes. That is a horrific statement. An unfair statement. I think secretary clinton was clearly laying out the distinctions between her long time paralleled record of support for true comprehensive Immigration Reform that really builds on the history of this country. And this state as a state of immigrants. And the senators record on immigration, which is nowhere near hers in really committing to really making this country open to everyone. So do you see similarities between Hillary Clinton in this contest against Bernie Sanders, who of course is running to the left of her and what you went through with bill de blasio and if so what lessons can you share. Women candidates have to do everything male candidates have to do but have to do it backwards and in high heels. And there is no real debating that women candidates are often held to a higher standard. Why is that . Why is it harder for women candidate . I think that is a question that deserves a long sociological answer on the history of women in the United States. But the truth is we are held to a higher standard and that is the reality and that is in fact what secretary clinton has fought against and succeeded against her entire career. And not for herself. But to open up a path for women and girls around the world to make sure that, that isnt the case for them as they get older and they seek to fulfill their dreams in politics or whatever field is their calling. Vice President Joe Biden talked about this very thing yesterday. He did this online interview. And he talked about the appeal, to him, of a female candidate. Listen to this. This country is ready for a woman. There is no problem. Were going to be able to elect a woman in this country. Would you like to see us elect a woman in this country. I would like to see a woman elected. So hed like to see a woman elected but hes not using Hillary Clintons name. Why is he being vague about that. Hes the sitting Vice President of the United States. And i think it would be inappropriate for him or the president for that matter to come out and make a choice in the democratic primary. That is not what sitting president s or sitting Vice President s do. But there is only one woman running for president of the United States and vague is not usually a word used, god bless him, with joe biden. I dont think he was vague at all. I think he was crystal clear. Probably a little beyond what he might even have been. But thats the glory of joe biden as well. And just as Vice President bind predicted with Marriage Equality he was correct we would have it in the country. I think hes making a similar prediction that we will have our first female president of the United States and the country will be so much better for it. And isnt it interesting to hear young women who talk about the idea of just voting for someone because they are a woman seems to them to be sexist. They think were past that. I dont think anybody should vote for anybody for one reason. Im not voting for Hillary Clinton just because shes a woman. Is it thrilling to me and exciting the idea of making history and i like to think of myself as young woman . Of course it is. But there are so many reasons to vote for secretary clinton. You cant touch her record. No one else can. From fighting for healthcare from before it was on the agenda. From taking womens rights issues to the International Stage. It was she who said for the First Time Ever on the world stage that womens rights for human rights. And then later as secretary of state said lgbt rights for human rights. No one had taken those kind of issues onto the International Stage the way she has. And lets not forget, as new yorkers. She was by our side after september 11th. She never left us. She kept fighting. She made sure our First Responders had healthcare. And that is the kind of fighter shes going to be in the white house and that is how shell succeed for new yorkers and for everybody and that is why shes going to win big on tuesday. How are you doing as the family . How is your daughter doing . Were doing okay. Given the circumstances were all very emotional. And were all saddened. Old wounds get reopened. But were trying to manage and get together with help of friends and family. Times like this that is when you lean on one another. I know the power in that. I can imagine when you learned of the clemency being granted by governor schwarzenegger shortly before he was going out of office. I understand you were told by a reporter that called the house. That must have felt like a wound being reopened. Yes. That was. Even during the investigation and the trial, or the Court Hearings leading to the trial, that was my biggest concern that politics would rob us of justice. Well speaking of politics and it did. Well it did. Politics has played a part in this. And you feel that way and others as well. Here a statement from fabian nunezs family. It reads in part that that say he has paid his debt to society. What is your reaction to that kathy . Paid the debt oh im sorry. No either one of you can. Yeah. Right, i feel like that is so untrue. He paid a part of the debt that he pled to. I feel that that is a silly statement. Of course hes not paid his debt. He got away with murder to start with by pleading to a lesser sentence. And then of course once they got sentenced to the maximum allowed by law they didnt like the sentence. So they went shopping for a better one. And of course they went and to the political route. When they took the political route, fabian nunez, the former state assemblyman was quite friendly with then governor swartsd negativer. I understand governor schwarzenegger reached out and sent a letter to you after that. I have it in my hand. Ive read through it and it doesnt apologize for granting clemency to your sons killer. More apologizing really for the lastminute nature of this. And then he went on to say that he didnt intend to cause your further pain. Walk us through what it felt like to receive this letter from the governor. I feel like he sent that letter after a lot of backlash. He had been asked by several sources, did you notify the family . And the District Attorney also asked him that, did you o notify the family . So there was pressure on him after the fact. So the letter came a week letter. To me it was very insincere. We feel like it was written by staffers. There was really no point in it. It was to sort of save his grace i guess. I was in california the time this all happened and i remember very clearly politicians both on the right and on the left. I remember newspaper editorials decrying this commutation of nunezs sense. Does that small comfort to you fred . Well there is no comfort for us. Our son is dead. No matter what. So yes, it does help a little bit that everybody seemed to be on our side and condemn his action. But it doesnt bring us any pau peace. Kathy tell me about your boy. I know he was known as mr. Personality. Right. Well he was very popular. Very charming. He had a great sense of humor. He had a lot of friends. Take a look at numbers in new york and upcoming pennsylvania. Big states. Northeast, regional appeal. Very important. Kasich moving into asked. Still half of trump but the best showing weve seen in any significant contest. Thats new york. Pennsylvania again, the ratio better for kasich but again showing hes moved into a competitive situation. Now the less good news. Also known as the bad news. Look at the delegate count. 746 for trump. 538 for droouz cruz. 145 for kasich. Notable, not in the race, marco rubio still has more delegates than john kasich. Hasnt won any state except ohio. Hasnt won a delegate in a month. Is he viable . He cant win. Mathematically he needs more than a hundred percent of the remaining delegates. Why should he still be in the race . We got some delegates over the weekend and we continue to get delegates as the Selection Process goes forward. Weve got a very active team so that is going to be a positive. Were getting good traction there. But he should stay in the race because one, hes the best person to be the commander in chief the president of the United States and hes going to lay out today in a speech hes calling two paths, a real choice for the Republican Voters and the country as a whole. Do we want hope or anger . Action as opposed to division . And hes the one who can bring not only the Party Together but the country and that is his path forward and why you are seeing him moving up the polls in these states coming. What do you tell your brother and sister goppers when they say yeah but nobs voting for him. They are voting for cruz and for trump. Shouldnt it be between them. They are voting for john kasich and as they see hes the best candidate and able to win in the general election in november, those brothers and sisters and the Republican Party and independents that have voted for john kasich are continuing to vote for him and that is what this comes down to as we get to the convention in cleveland. There is a long way to go until then and we still have to go in a general election and there is only one candidate who can win in november and that is john kasich. So the more people hear that the more people say that hes the one offering a plan of action and optimism, we feel confident that were going to get their support. So for those in the audience just getting to know you a little bit. You know the game very well. You are a former Deputy Communications person at the white house. You know how this works. You know a lot of people at the partys upper echelons. Paint for me the scenario by which it goes to convention and kasich winds up being the one to come out of it. Well this is a process that i dont have any experience in because its never happened in my particular career. But the bottom line is at the convention there is pretty much one rule that matters most and that is a majority of the delegates can decide the rule, can decide the nominee and can decide pretty much what happens. So since no candidate is going to go to the convention with a majority of the delegates in hand it is going to be up to the delegates at the convention to make all of these decisions. And throughout his career, john kasich has served not only in the congress but in the state of ohio. Hes produced a very, very positive record of job creation, glisht and bringing people together on both sides of the aisle. And we feel confident that as it gets that second, third ballot and people are thinking about who can win a general election and ho whos best to protect the senate and republicans in down ballot races, people are going to think long and hard about that and thats john kasich. Ive never heard the governor denigrate himself about anything as much as he does about having a Vice President. He says id be the worst times a thousand. Do you believe hes completely closed off to the possibility of joining the ticket of one of these other two gentlemen to bring the Party Together . Well, having watched and known the governor for several years, i know one thing. Hes a man of his ward. And he does like to be the executive. And hes proven he is a good executive. Very good. Successful at the state level and even the congressional level. I take him at his word that hes not interested in being a Vice President and that is why hes campaigning so hard as we go forward. Do you worry that these stepped up attacks will cut into her lead in new york and threaten the outcome here is this. Well i do think that the margin in new york is going to be very tight. But were confident at the end of the day that well prevail in new york. New york is really a must win state for senator sanders. And that is why i think you are seeing him sort of bob and weave between different lines of attack. I think what you are finding is that new york, the spotlight doesnt shine any brighter than here. The scrutiny is never more intense. And so senator sanders isnt a way to get e. Rather untested and i think that is important in the minds of democratic voters because we are looking t a president ial election against potentially donald trump. Hillary clinton is the candidate. Bernie sanders is untested. You say you think the margin will be very tight. Not at the moment. The latest poll, Hillary Clinton has 51 compared to Bernie Sanders 39 . Weve learned during this race that polls can be wrong. Excuse me, im fight a flu. That polls can be wrong. So you think that it is going to narrow much more. We know senator sanders is going to spend millions on television and continue his attacks on Hillary Clinton. So i wouldnt be surprised if things tightened. But i think senator clinton, secretary clinton has a good story to tell based on her time representing new york. We were telling a story how she brought businesses and governments together to help expand markets so that Small Businesses and retailers in upstate new york could help expand their retail base. And as a result we saw Economic Development increase across upstate new york. That is the model she would want to follow as president. Donald trump has been making the point that the raw votes are not always reflected in the delegate count. And he has been holding up Bernie Sanders as an example of what goes wrong there. Listen to this. Every weekend i see the results come in. Bernie sanders wins. And he wins. And he wins. And then these people are saying he cant win. Because the system is rigged. So bernie to Donald Trumps point, Bernie Sanders has won 8 out of the last 9 contests. Yet he is not able to cut into her super delegate lead or even her delegate lead. Is the system rigged in that way . I dont think so. These are the rules that have long been in place. I think what you are seeing from donald trump there is the same you have seen for months from the Republican National committee trying to help out senator sanders. It is clear they want to run against senator sanders in the general election. In terms of the rules that we have on the democratic side, senator sanders has won a bunch of states recently but they have been caucus states that havent had a lot of delegates at stake. And really i think when you talk about rigging the system that is what senator sanders is trying to do now. Hillary clinton has won in a popular vote by a wide margin. Shes got more than 2 million vote over senator sanders in all the contests when you add them up. Hes won more states. Shes won more pledge delegates so now that is forcing senator sanders to go out and talk about the idea that he wants to try to flip super delegates and get him to over turn the will of the people again, this is part of the rules. You can court away delegates. Absolutely. It is permitted under the rules. My point is if anybody is trying to rig the system right now to over turn the will of the people it is senator sanders. Do you believe he will turn some of the super delegates . Have absolutely not. I think the people are looking at senator sanders, they are seeing that interview he gave last week and saying hes untested. He cant stand up to the scrutiny. Secondly, whos going to have a down ballot effect. We have a real potential to not just [ slow down ] Hillary Clinton is doing that. Senator sanders is raising money for himself.
