He spoke to him this morning, christine, offering his condolences for the death of his 16yearold son, mohammad who was abducted last week and whose charred remains were found outside jerusalem causing huge classes, bigger than any we have seen here really in around a decade. In that conversation, Benjamin Netanyahu said, i quote one line, we denounce brutal behavior. It cannot be by a human being. The line he is trying to impress is that he will respond with the same, you know, degree of justice against those who killed this palestinian teenager against those who killed the three israeli teenagers who went missing last month whom has been a huge sweep across the west bank to try to find their bodies. Clearly, both sides in this conflict, palestinian and israeli leadership are trying to keep a lid on the anger that we have seen over the last few days in response to mohammads killing. But you mentioned his cousin who was here on Summer Vacation to visit the family. Summer vacation turned into a horror story when his cousin was abducted. The next day, in protests outside the family home, he appears to have been caught up in it somehow. He says he wasnt throwing stones. Taken aside by Israeli Police and brutally beaten as you can see from the cell phone footage. Badly beaten by police with his hands tied behind his back. The israelis conducted a criminal investigation. U. S. Wants a full explanation of this use of force. On house arrest. Any sense of when hell be allowed to return home to the United States . Not yet. His family is going by the end of the month. Clearly the u. S. State department wants it to happen as soon as possible. There arent charges being brought yet. This surfaced on social media sites tied to isis. It would be one of the first videos. Arwa damon is live in baghdad with more. What can you tell us about this video . Reporter well, the video was clearly shot at a mosque inside mosul, a bold and brazen move by the leader of isis. In the video that was initially circulated by an official isis circular she is now known to his followers since isis declared this socalled Islamic State all the way to syria. He is arguably the worlds most wanted terrorist and felt confident enough about the territory who had to go through to arrive there to make this kind of appearance. We spoke to an eyewitness who said they had no idea he was going to show up. It has been and there will be funerals today in the Southern Gaza city for some of the nine militants killed overnight as a result of israeli air strikes. Now, there has been an ongoing exchange of rockets from gaza and israeli air strikes in response over the last few days. Really, the question is whether this will escalate in a full scale conflict. Whether the killing of those three israelis followed by the murder here in jerusalem could lead to a further resurgence of violence in this region. All it would take is for one of those rockets coming over from gaza to cause israeli casualties for this escalation, possibly to escalate more. Both sides are calling for restranr restrangts. In defensive positions according to the israelis is to deescalate the situation.
