What i found most interesting of the new brand and when he said, it aint over yet. Now he says well end obamacare. Different leaders you have many, many times and you need many times in order to get something passed. This is now the language. I bet well be hearing more. Well, this is just the beginning and a little bump on the road. Matt, does this under score real dilemma for r the president in one, for one moment he says he wants to move on with other things with this tax reform. Infrastructure plans but then there is this chorus coming from congress and constituents who were saying. You promised one of the first things you take on is obamacare and the president had to correct by way of Vice President , that okay, it is still at the top of the agenda. Some cognitive paul ryan came out and spoke out that obamacare is the law of the land and now they changed it. The reason they want to repeal and replace through so quickly was that they said that you have to get things done at the start of the administration or simply d it does not get done. They want to pass the repeal and replace of obamacare. That would give them a baseline to do tax reform. Well do both of those things of reconciliations. They want to do it really quick and you will get around of infrastructure. There is not a lot of legislative day in a year so we can talk about circling back of doing healthcare reform. I dont know how theyre going to have the time to do all the things they want to do. By reconciliations, you are talking about house and Senate Voting on the same bill. It seems like it is starting all over again with the white house even though you got the president whos touting some real confidence that theyre going to get back on track, can you have these mix messages, lynn sweet, coming from the white house . Ideally no. It is refreshing to see this unvarnished and see how it is unfolding without all the strict messaging which i am not a fan of anyway when everybody reads from the same script. Here is one thing i think we should all keep an eye on. If this infrastructure bill comes out. It will give donald trump the bargaining tools that hes most at home is which would be money for project. They cannot do what they call this is jargon air marks anymore in congress. Give me your vote. You cannot do that now. I think there is an incentive when the president gets down to it because you cannot help design whatever the problems are or the priorities or the grant areas of big infrastructure bill. This will perk up the interest of the Term White House to try and make that along more than other things because of two reasons. It is in the wheel house of the president and it is some kind of incentive that can cross party lines. And matt, you know the president was tweeting today, tweeted in one respect talking about, you know all of the investigation about russia and once again calling that fake news, he also tweeted today about healthcare. Lets pull that up if we can. Renewing his willingness to work with the democrats. Hes saying the failing New York Times finally gets it in places where no Insurance Companies offering plans and there is no way of obamacare partners to use subsidy and in other words, obamacare is dead and good thing wills happen and with republicans. Another mixed message but also saying working with the democrats are going to be the way in which he helps to get there, matt. Yeah, i am still skeptical of this. I really am. Democrats have cast donald trump as someone whos a threat. The idea that you would help him out, even if it is something that liberals may otherwise liked, i just dont buy. I think their strategy is going to be obstruction and by the way, the notion that because of obamacare starts to fail that barack obama will be blamed or that and not donald trump. I think thats a dubious at this point. Donald trump is the president. Yeah, i am not sure hes going blame the last gay in healthcare fails after they tried to repeal and replace and could not do it. This is an interesting way in which the president may have an escape plan, if it does not work out this time, you know, he can once again blame the democrats but in a vidifferent vein . Well, hes looking for someone to blame and as you said before cast blames on those conservative Freedom Caucus members and now casting blames on the democrats. What i find interesting of this whole back and forth that even though there does not appears of a tangible plan on the table, the president seems to be talking about it through tweet and and his public statements as well. Thats part of what Vice President pence were talking about it as well. Take a look at this from a few minutes ago. So you got massive class coming in. Thats obviously the wrong sound bite. What mike pence says that this white house is committed to fixing the healthcare situation in the United States and the president stands a the read dewhen congress is willing to play ball. Tough wonder where theyre finding willing partners. At the same time he says hes wanting to work with moderate democrats and hes critical of them in the wake of all this. Lets now take a listen at what the president had to say a few minutes ago. As we saw about a week ago congress was not quite with 100 house democrats, every single one and a handful of republicans, congress basically said that they were not ready yet. Be assured of this, folks here in the buckeye state, when congress decides to repeal and replace obamacare, President Trump and i will be ready. And back to that point i was making before. Who are going to be those partners that they find to work to repeal and replace obamacare. At this point, they dont seem to be extending any olive branch. This morning, the white house, director of social media, one thats close to the president was tweeting that, the trumps train should find a primary opponent. The congressman that was opposed to this Healthcare Plan. Amoss did not back down. He tweeted back. The trumppushbach. There is a lot of divisions right now in america right now. Thats not the word that you are looking for of something fixing the healthcare situation. Lynn, the president coming across as destabilizer. Tell us about the new meaning of Vice President hitting the road and reiterate the white houses messages and the agenda in the manner he did today. Well, a few things, the Vice President givers a speech thats a better explanation sometimes to people if you just want to understand the details. He has a staff that is so far has no end fighting and theyre working together. You dont hear diasporama from pences staff. He meets from people. Hes in a unique position and having been a governor and a congressman, he understands what it really means, when you say lets give more power to the state. He can translate some of the big things of what trump said into how do you make it work and how do you write a law thatll work and how do you understand a promise in a way that you can make it kept. Vice president pence is in dispensable and he knows government and government is not the same as business. How is it adventageous to use the Vice President in that manner hes a full spectrum conservative christian. Hes a National Security conservative. The traditional three legs of the conservatives stool so to speak that donald trump is not apart of. Mike pence represents. I would say that nobody can finish an applause line better than mike pence, he has mastered the art of getting people applau applause. It was a stump speech but hes great at delivering it.
