not trump. he was fine with it. he wanted to get into her head. bill clinton was abusive to women. hillary clinton attacked those same women. behind the scenes, hillary clinton is left in this weird position of, "how do i explain this?" her aides are essentially advising her to play it cool. that is hard for her, but she does it effectively. [hillary] when i hear something like that, i am reminded of what my friend, michelle obama, advised us all. when they go low, you go high. it was baked in that donald trump was a reality star who had three wives, who did all kinds of things that ended up in the tabloids. they knew that. the fact that he took that to the next level, we were all shocked that he did that in the moment. but in retrospect, i don't know why we were shocked. back in the 1970s, i worked for the children's defense fund and i was taking on discrimination against african-american kids in schools. he was getting sued by the justice department for racial discrimination in his apartment buildings.
