whole city government campus is destroyed. our city government, the mayor's office and the police department share a building. it is destroyed across the driveway. the parking lot is, the fire station is destroyed. the fire chief had to connect, change to his truck and pull the doors open to get the ambulances and the fire trucks out. >> reporter: and tonight, law enforcement official here in mayfield said he lost his entire building. part of the county jail and the same devastating storm that hill k killed one of his deputies. he was forced to evacuate 80 inmates from the graves county jail after the tornado ripped the building apart but that's not all. one of his deputies was killed while watching a group of inmates on work release that now destroyed candle factory. graves county jailer george workman here with me now.
