This allows some state hospitals to dispense to patients with cancer, glaucoma, and other illnesses in new york. He made his announcement in the state of the state address. This is a Huge Development and very very important. What we need now is to ensure that new york has the best possible medical marijuana system. To do that we are considering legislative action. This is a good step because there is no moving on to the Regulatory Infrastructure necessary. The voters have already voted. What are the differences, what are the nuances. This is setting up greenhouses all over the country right now. This is a full legal system where the companies would be able to enter. New york, we are under the government proposal, we are not sure thats the companies would be able to enter. There are a lot of questions as to where the marijuana would come from. Why would you want to be in this end of the business in the first place. There might be profits in growing herbs and the kind of greenhouses that you described. Things that are already legal. What is the impetus . Is it the size of the potential award . Whats it is an emerging industry. This is on the ground floor. There is a lot of estimates a set of approximately 100 billion dollar industry when all is said and done and americas fully legal. As an emerging industry and one that investors are looking for. I want you to hold on. Please, stay with us. I want to go now to the Consumer Electronics show in las vegas. Tmobile, the Company Announcing that they added 800 70,000 monthly subscribers last quarter which topped analyst estimates of 650 subscribers 650,000 subscribers. This is essentially a Research Program that says we need to find out how to create a marijuana system and what will work. We have 20 states with medical marijuana programs now. We have them on the books in this country for 18 years. Countries like canada and israel have federal national theyre one of programs. We know how to do this and we know how to do it right to make sure that patients get the medicine they need. To do anything other than implement the program is putting patients at risk and allowing them to continue to suffer. We need to do a lot more here in new york before we can call new york, because were not there yet. When you tell people that your company is interested in moving more into this industry, what kind of response have you received . Great. As the Regulatory Environment gets better, so does investor confidence. As these laws progressed and the governors make announcements even if they are hollow, from what we can tell, it does increase the confidence of investors and the industry that really wants to provide the safe access that new yorkers want for patients. You have to look at the records. They are the one that write their stories every day for the public. It is exciting that the Veterans Committee chose to pick three managers. Each one has their own ability to work with players and it is exciting time. On from joe torre, tony la russa. All three are wellknown in the baseball system. They are players that they love and that is one of the i think has come through with these three people. These are the kind that people want to play for and that is the exciting part. That is not a bad thing to have in common. When you think about what theyve done through the years, a couple of years before i arrived there. As a board member of the hall of fame, what kind of pressure do you have to deal with. What about those that you have to kind of review the record . There is a dirty little secret, the Board Members dont vote. You dont have to have an opinion or give an opinion . No, the Board Members help in terms of the organization under jane clark who is the chairwoman of the board who has been a great benefactor of the national Baseball Hall of fame. There are some members that get involved in the voting on the Veterans Committee. As you said at the outset of the program, it is a writers that make the decision, they are the ones that put up the names. The Board Members, they are there as part of the celebration and there are other business things that theyre responsible for. In every case, i think the Board Members are always excited that there are a number of players and managers that are brought in for business purposes. This last year, we had three members that were voted in by the Veterans Committee that were all deceased. This is really important for the growth of the national Baseball Hall of fame as well as our financial future that the players become members. Also that those are recognized even after theyve died. Lets talk about greg maddux. You think about someone, the two pitchers that had been brought in in terms of their unbelievable records and everyone talked about them getting voted in the first time. I know the players dont know until the phone call comes. In each case they have had sterling records in terms of starting pitchers and they travel around as well that both of them had a home in atlanta. The potential inductees, are they told that the phone will ring between a certain hour of the day and it should be home . You should be talking to someone might jane who makes the call. There are many stories that i have heard about people that dont believe in it. Jack oconnell is the chairperson of the Writers Group and those people have the best stories. Tell us about some of the artists that have embraced this. In brooklyn, a lot of local artists. A lot of artists we know and work with. All different kinds of art, traditional weird or conceptual stuff and i think that ties them all together and that buys into the idea that there are more opportunities if you work with brands. They would compensate them in some way if they were going to be using that in the marketing campaign. What do you have with relationships like perrier . They come to you, you come to them . They are very interested in getting to artists in the art scene and i think brands it makes sense for, it might be highend or handcrafted. This is like titos fokker, they won the associated. As far as the association goes, did you have to sign away your legal rights . No, it is all on our terms. We put together the event and then we reach out to the sponsors. It is on the terms. What would you like to see happen in the future . You want to go to cities and other brands . Definitely planning on taking it all over. We really like to see opportunities going both ways. This year looking for artist to continue and have a career, opportunities from brands. They want to be associated with the times that they want. As the creative director, you have all of the wherewithal to make those kinds of commercials and those kinds of marketing plans happen. It is really natural for me. Always an artist. Branding.
