We hear her with a populist message that Elizabeth Warren has been forcefully pushing out for many months. You hear republicans talking about income inequality this time around is a. It is not all that surprising. People are still waiting to hear her rationale for her campaign exactly why she is running, why should ask she is the one to do this. And we all want to hear more policy meets on the bones, exactly what she wants to do as president. Matt i almost forgot not how she was a woman, but how important that could be. Is gender and advantage for clinton . Are we still at that point where it would be a huge plus to have a first woman president . Melinda i do think it is a plus, but i am not sure in terms of winning the white house it is as egg of an advantage as many would assume. Polling shows 12 say they would be more inclined to vote for her because of her gender. 4 say they would be less inclined to vote for her for that reason. Those numbers are probably low but i do think it is less than death less of an advantage than it is assumed. It is certainly not automatic even for women voters, to say, she is a woman and i am a woman and that is an automatic vote for me. And she does not want to come out, either, with the message that im a woman, and that is the sole reason you should cast your vet a ballot for me. That is the thing, too. This was built up over the last couple of months, calling for a strategic view at qualcomm. 42 point 8 million in shares changing hands. Actively traded Company Stock with the activist investor urging for a separation of the company, a split of the company. Another is netflix, up by almost 3 right now by ubs, upgrading to neutral and boosting its price target to 565 from 370. The late rally in 2013 has stalled, even though revenue has jumped during that time. It says the current price is an attractive entry point for anyone who has not gotten in and wants to double up. Lets move on to sears holdings. It struck a 5050 joint venture designed to unlock the real estate value that all contribute to the venture. This follows a similar deal sears his head struck with another mall operator. Trying to unlock some because comparable Sales Numbers up. Matt thanks for that look at the markets. As the greenback continues to gain it could mean pain for many luxury retailers, is actually in new york. The first warning sign came from tiffany in january on the issue of a dismal profit forecast due to the stronger dollar. Shares have tanked and have not come back to for a fresh look at how other countries are faring, directly with the highest retailers on the highest and street in the world. Here in new york city. Chair of the retail group and douglas joins us. Thank you so much. It is the highest and the most famous shopping street and the highest and we will hit 5,000 per square foot for retail. Matt as far as nondepartment stores. Tiffany is probably one of the most famous stores. Having problems because coming your spending money, cannot get enough dollars . That is true. They have a sweet spot where they have been hit. I think tiffanys has seen this before and there are other retailers adjusting the products, the prices and many of them are facing this in the market but a lot of them are still doing well. Introducing a new lost at a more affordable price point. We have affordable luxury. I think tiffanys is in the eye because it is the most famous but other retailers are doing very well. Matt introducing a more affordable product is not necessarily a sign of us a sign . Faith they want to compete with other retailers in the price point. Mayor at the right place at the right time. Luxury at the highend has not been affected. The balancing of the world. Have a joke where we watch people going in and we say, they buy it like red. It is a city that everyone comes in they are a brand. Tourists will have maybe 58 million this year. I do not see this as a blurp on the radar screen. It is exciting. Matt can any retailers go to their landlords and say we are having difficulty, or any torrent tenets go to the landlords and they come at you please give me a break on the rent because it is hurting . Faith though i think the landlord listens during the real downturn, i do not wear at that point at all. The landlords will listen but how much they will respond, we will see. Matt what are we talking about for prime real estate . Faith it is really between apple and goldman sachs. That will hit 5,000. Up from 3500 last year. Headtohead with madison avenue come up from 1850. But this is all about position in the marketplace. If you want to build a brand, this is the place. Matt that unique architecture. Faith and more to come, we at microsoft. Matt microsoft promised something amazing their First Flagship store. What will we see 0 see . Faith the vast new writedown from apple, i think this will not just give apple a run for their money, but really be a high point this year. Were all looking over to it here and what has happened, we have so many clicks to bricks now. Amazon opening on 34th street are they made such a commitment not just to a store, but a major office and distribution facility. So new york is where everybody wants to be. Matt awesome. Thank you so much for joining us, hope faith consolo. Standby for lift off, space acts. All eyes will be on an attempted rocket relanding instead. Kind of the reverse of what we are used to. They with us in the loop. Stay with us in the loop. Matt for now, president obama and cubas caster will agree to disagree. They met yesterday in tech in panama. It was the first leader encounter for both companies in half a century. They can disagree on issues and still turn the page. President obama i am cautiously optimistic that over the coming months and coming years, that the process we have initiated, first announced in december, reaffirmed here at the summit of the americas will lead to a different future for the cuban people and a different relationship between the United States and cuba. Matt the next big step whether the resignation terrorism. President obama will make that decision in the near future. Did you see the imitation game . About alan turing and how he broke the magma during world war ii . You can now own a piece of that history. One of his notebooks goes on sale today, expected to bring at least 1 million. An activist investor urging qualcomm to consider a breakup. Asking qualcomm to spin off its chipmaking unit. Shares of qualcomm are down 11 in the last 12 months. And a spacex rocket will make the companys six resupply mission to the International Space Mission Today in florida. The unmanned rocket will carry about two tons of supplies including an espresso machine. All eyes will be on the launch rocket on a floating platform in the atlantic. It has not been able to do that successfully so far. Those are the top headlines. Coming up, we will speak to the ceo on how the booming fantasy for Fantasy Sports has made its way. And senator angus king on the iran dear deal, Foreign Policy, and hillary for president. Matt john kerry try to sell skeptical lawmakers on the Iran Nuclear Deal. A Bipartisan Senate bill would give congress and up in debt up or down vote on a deal and remember president from waiving sanctions against iran during a 60 day review. Live with senator angus and independent from maine who sits on the intelligence and Armed Services committee. Peter thank you for the time this morning. Lets start with iran if we could what do you make of this right now and what is your sense on whether or not it needs an upanddown vote . Angus i was briefed along the way as negotiations took place. When it had more specificity and more bite than i expected. It does not mean it is a great deal there is a lot of work to be done. There is no deal yet, but the framework was more favorable and stronger than i expected. It is a good place to start. In terms of what will happen in senate and congress, i think there probably will be legislation on the lines proposed that gives congress a role. His are congressionally imposed sanctions in the first place. Congress has to have a role if they will be rolled back. The question is, do we have a freeforall in june or set up a roadmap now that sets forth a rational procedure that has present protections so it is not political football. That is the issue over the next weeks. Senator king peter one of the artemis we expect to hear from secretary kerry is dont do it now. Senator king im going to listen to that argument in any people are. I am willing to be persuaded there is really a threat to negotiations here i see this as different from the congressional bills that propose new stations. Popping up over the last year or so. I was very much in debt against those bills. What were talking about now is an opportunity for congress to review the deal when it is completed. Ive got to tell you i have reservations about whether some of my colleagues will be able to do this in a responsible way or whether it will be a bludgeon to beat up the president a matter what. I do not buy that and if that will be the way it will be handled, i am out. Peter you were 5050 on whether this deal would be finalized. Peter senator king i think there is going to be a deal. Reaction in iran, people obviously want to be rid of the sanctions and want their economy to get moving again. It is tough. There are skeptics on both sides come in iran and here for sure. It will not be an easy sell on either side of the ocean. The way to analyze the deal is to say what are the alternatives . We have got to remember, this is an International Community and if they do not go along with sanctions, the whole thing collapses and iran has got a 3 free pass. I think there is a good chance it will go. Peter the state farm and dropping cuba from the list. Are you ok with that . Senator king based on the date i have seen, yesterday no evidence cuba has been in the business of financing or supporting terrorism around the world. At least not in recent years. It is time to make that change and normalize relations. Peter were out of time. I will spare you the Hillary Clinton question. Senator angus king joining us. We send it back to you in new york. Matt thank you very much peter cook. The green jacket. Did a tenfold increase in the fantasy player crowns draft king the biggest winner of the tournament . Music streaming is worth 8 billion. We will talk about spotify. Matt welcome back. We are 30 minutes away from the opening bell. Im matt miller. Talks will hedge slightly lower at the open. Wall street getting ready for the surge of reports as earnings season starts once again. It is not forecast to be a good one. Hillary clinton is going back to where her 2008 it went wrong. She is headed to iowa for appearances tomorrow and wednesday. President obama says he thinks mrs. Clinton is more than qualified. President obama she was a formidable candidate in 2008 and a great supporter of mine in the general election. She was an outstanding secretary of state. She is my friend. I think she would be an excellent president. In that i am not on the ballot so, i will not step on her lines. Matt hillary finished third seven years ago. First in the democratic race now because no one else is in it. Marco rubio expected to join the race today. A rally in miami. He would be joining ted cruz of texas and rand paul of kentucky. He is putting out an advertisement tomorrow that calls the former secretary of state the worst of the washington machine. China to sell the Iran Nuclear Deal on capitol hill today. Senator john kerry and other cabinet members will brief lawmakers behind closed doors. We will discuss a bill that will give lawmakers 60 days to review it a final agreement with iran. China shows weakness in what is usually one of its economic strengths, exports. Sales fell bys 15 in march, the sharpest decline in a year. Hints of an economic slowdown as well. They fell nearly 13 . Golf fans are buzzing about a 21yearolds easy victory. Hungry for a new start to replace tiger woods. Tying the tournament record set by tiger woods in 1997. The young texan still seemed overcome after clinching it. To join the club that is the green jackets, to join masters history and put my name on that trophy, and to have this jacket forever, it is something matt he gets more than a new sports coat. He gets when my dollars in prize money, endorsements worth 10 main dollars and probably more a year. An amazing round of golf. Those are your top headlines this monday morning. 30 minutes away from the start of trading. I want to count you down to the top headlines. Number 10 is sprint. Subscribers, kansas city, kansas. And more notable cities like miami and chicago can upgrade to new phones making house or office calls. They will activate calls to transmit pictures and tutorials. It sounds awesome to me. I am not so good with phone transferring. Matt dont they just do it for you . It always seems there is a glitch or something that does not go quite right. Your chimney, they might actually have a business. Matt they will do anything. They need to keep tmobile away from the heels. The ceo of sprint got in a little big with jon leger at tmobile. He said ledger talks a big game but they are still number four. Were still number three. Matt they will do it in miami, chicago, and kansas city kansas. Bob kansas city, missouri, is to upscale for them. Matt number nine is game of thrones, the show with all the soldiers and naked women. It may be struggling to get on the iron throne, but not hbos design system. It went off without a major incident. The larger problem before game of stones when four episodes were lead to online. I do watch it and i watched last night. But you have not paid much attention to the pronunciations. Matt which one did i get wrong . He seemed like you were stumbling. Bob he seems like he is stumbling because of last weekend. Matt that is right. Clients what is interesting about the leaking online is apparently, may be members of the media who got a copy of the show is responsible for the leak. Bob i used to review movies. Cassettes back then. Glass were you offended on behalf of viewers everywhere . Bob no my colleagues and not me would put it on ebay and make a second income but i would never do that. Matt asking investors for a huge improvement to 5 billion. The authorization could be a prelude to possible stocks split. Investors will vote at the june 9 annual meeting. Up over 35 in the past year. Can you watch on netflix . No. Hbo go and you can buy it on itunes. You can watch older shows on amazon . I have trouble keeping it together. Bob i think a lot of people have different ways they can watch tv shows. It is not just netflix or amazon prime. I watched it on regular tv like a good old man, like the geezer i am. Matt gamco investors, the Money Management firm says it plans to split into two separate companies that would be both publicly traded serving as chairman and chief executive officer of the Traditional Asset Management business. I did not mean to malign him and put him in the same group as you are and i love mario. I love that well but im just saying. You said you are an old geezer and i did not mean to include him in the group of old geezers. He is definitely the most entertaining. I do not have much to say about the split. If it were publicly traded, we have to know. Matt i was reminded of mario one thing about can this morning. Talking about how the radio anchor who sadly passed away over the weekend. You could judge Economic Times by looking at a guys close. If he has not gotten a new suit he is trying to save a little bit of money. Mario, hemlines. It is a classic but one he brings out. Bob we are getting the bell but lets talk more about hemlines. Matt valued at 8 billion, double what the company was worth when it raised money in 2013. Spotify continues to raise money even as players such as apple and google enter the market. You use spotify, i am sure. Julie i do not use anything. I have use pandora and spotify. There is so much competition and it is not clear who will come out on top. It is interesting to see spotify come out with a valuation like this when it is a very unclear young, competitive landscape. Matt if you want to hear taylor swift, she might you working with jayz . Julie her older stuff might be on. Bob then you have series xm, which spotify maybe we will be a lot like satellite radar satellite radio. Matt i try out all of these services because i feel it is my duty as a journalist. 21yearold jordan. I will speak to the ceo of an online fantasies with business and find out why people are playing fantasy golf at an alltime high even when it is playing actual golf. Stay with us. Matt it is time for a deep dive, number five. The masters has been my focus for the past four days. 21yearold jordan won his first major title at the masters earning him a coveted green jacket plus winnings. But he is not the only one who has one big. An online Fantasy Sports business sees a tremendous spike during a Golf Tournament and during the masters, it saw a tenfold increase in weekly users. Disney recently announced it invested 250 my nose in draft king spear joining me from boston to discuss the booming Fantasy Sports business is jason robbins. Thank you for coming to the program. Draft kings has been everywhere if you are a sports fan for the past few weeks. How much is this helping . Massive marketing onslaught. We just have a masters and it is the beginning of baseball season. A great time to get new customers. Matt i have to mention golf is the perfect sport for you because the way you operate Fantasy Sports come you do not really play the full season to just individual days in individual events and golf is perfect for that. Jason golf was great. It was a huge event for us. We had one person who actually just won 1 million playing fantasy golf this weekend. Matt what is the deal with that the one day . I signed up on draft kings this morning. I am planning on donating most of that to the u. S. Open on june 18. What if i were to play a regular sort of American Team sport . How do you do that in one day . Jason there are a bunch of different games in a given day and you can select layers from different teams competing in those games. After that days over, if you one, you get your prizes and you can either play the next day or choose not to one day at a time. Matt you are expanding a lot. Martial arts fighting. Where else do you see it going . Jason the full season Fantasy Sports product is dominated by espn and yahoo right now. We do not want to compete with those companies. Our product is different and it is company three. Most of the players play each. We try to launch our own. Matt you are partnering with a lot of leagues in individual teams, which is why you are getting so much in funding. Let me ask you who you are putting together for your opening team. Jason after watching this last weekend, i have got to go with jordan. He was too impressive. After that, it is an open field and we will have to see. Jordan is definitely a guy i would go with after watching this past performance. Matt i want to give a shout out to fill, who came back roaring. You guys have done probably the best of everybody. Ceo of draft case, a booming online business. Still to come, chinas import and export problem is a wave of stimulus on the way, or maybe we should be asking how much stimulus. Doesnt a threeday oil surge made a deal with iran . Stay in the loop. Matt we will get back to bring you the most important stories you need to know about. Number four, chinas trade contracted in march by an unexpectedly wide margin, adding to expectations beijing will launch a new stimulus to shore up weakening growth. Exports fell 15 and . 13 the month before. The question is how much we will get from this economy. Judy put the gdp growth percentage will fall each year. Matt 7 is not that great if your inflation is nine. Bob the government there is different than governments here in north america where they can do things we cannot do. Some are a little less worried about it. He is really the man. He has clamped down and really consolidated economically as well as human rights however you want to call it. They talk about it. Matt julie is silent. Number three oil committed vast after a third day of skepticism lawmakers, a nuclear deal undermines and bolstered crude exports. I am sorry. Where we expecting and a ron deal iran deal to be successful and then come unscathed . Who thought this would work and iran would start happily exporting to the free world . Julie i have some hoax. Bob hopes. Bob i think iran thought so. Iran storing this oil ready to release. Matt but the u. S. Congress republican he controlled, is going to do anything to get rid of this deal. Bob before there was a deal, they were against the deal. Will happen if the u. K. And france and germany say hey, we want to lift sanctions. Matt a good question. I will remember that. Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton ended what little suspense there was and announced she will seek the white house and 2016. In response, rand paul welcome to Hillary Clinton to the president ial race. It portrays Hillarys America as a grayscale utopia, the worst of the washington machine, it says. And tonight, we get marco rubio who posts on twitter he will make a big announcement. I wonder what it is. The republicans field is filling up. Julie i would love if there were a mandated announcement date everybody tells you on the same day. And it is also like a month before the election. Wouldnt that be awesome . Bob i like that idea better. Matt that was his vision of dystopia. Bob the hillary advertisement looked like a car commercial first pair it i just raised a bunch of emails and now i am ready. Erased a bunch of emails and now i am ready. Matt welcome back. We want to bring you the most important stories of the morning. Our number one story is the u. S. Dollar. Borrowers owe a record 9 trillion in the u. S. Currency. Central banks that had reduced their holdings of the greenback are starting to reverse course creating more demand. They need to buy up dollars to pay back dollar lenders. It is a great story. Julie at the very least, that would suggest there is going to be a floor. In terms of supply and demand how much is the dollar going to continue to appreciate . Matt it is a record. 9 trillion. Bob that is a lot of money. Matt that is all in dollars. Bob nothing owed in bitcoin . Matt bitcoin can be very easily converted to dollars. [laughter] bob it can be converted to pizza. Matt dont you think it is a cool story for the dollar . Bob it is a great dollar. It is a great story. It overwhelms all of the other factors that investors and traders have been talking about. Matt thats what i was trying to get at. Julie and yet, bill gross is still a dollar bear. Matt you can read the story on bloomberg. Com. As stocks begin trading, they are just about to begin trading i want to bring in craig colleges. Craig hodges. Let me kick off with a question to you about that story. What do you think about where the dollar is headed . Is it a slamdunk . Craig you know the dollar has been incredibly strong. It caught a lot of people by surprise. I think at some point does have to go back down. The nice thing about where we are is that we are mostly a domestic shop. We are looking at u. S. Corporations, especially smaller ones. The advantage of Smaller Companies is that there is not much exposure to the dollar. Matt but i was talking with a retail expert earlier who was saying that a lot of the foreign money that comes in here and spends money in dollars cannot buy enough of them. Everybody has to be affected, at least a little bit right . Craig yes, that is true but not nearly what you are seeing for multinationals face. I think, over time, that the things these things even out. You will see the pendulum swing the other way. There are a lot of things going well domestically and that is what we are focused on. Matt i would ask if this gives you an advantage over the s p but i am guessing because of your location that you are involved in some of the companies affected by the lower price of crude. Craig that has been a very big factor. Anytime you see the commodity cut in half, like you have seen it, you are going to see real disruption. There has been a lot of companies with very small exposure to energy get hit just as bad in the market as some of these pure energy stocks. We see a lot of opportunities in things that have been hit hard with the perception of energy. There are a lot of texas banks that have been hit hard and we dont see that there is a real reasoning for that. Even Companies Like Trinity Industries that makes railcar the perception is that all of the growth has been in the energy sec and are, but yet that stock is down Energy Sector but yet that stock is down 50 . There is opportunity. Julie for some of those companies you talk about, isnt the perception partly correct . If you think about texas banks a lot of the business has to be with oil clients or if you think about trinity are some of the other industrials, they really service the oil industry. It is going to be a problem for them. Craig it is funny some of the questions i get, especially people from the east coast or the west coast about what is going on in texas. I was asked if everyone is selling their house in dallas. I think the Energy Business in dallas is less than 5 of the total economy. Houston is a bigger factor. The banks are being priced like there is a major real estate issue going on in texas and that is not the case. Most of the texas banks may have a percent or 9 of their loans in the Energy Sector, but those are neva debt those are not even at risk yet. I do think there are opportunities in some of these nonpure energy themes that have been hit hard. Another one, eagle materials. They have a small fracking operation. The stock has been hit. The cement and wallboard business is thriving for eagle materials. There is a lot of opportunity in the perception that we are going through mid1980s type of decline in energy. Bob what are some other single names you are interested in right now . Craig one theme that we are seeing at hodges capital is that the last economic expansion was driven by industrial companies. We are seeing this new expansion driven by consumer type names. We are trying to focus on consumer names. A lot of the homebuilders, there are some opportunities there. We think demand will increase because of the lower price of energy. There is an area. We like the retailers, some of the restaurant stocks. Brinker international is one of our favorite ideas. We are thinking that the emphasis ought to be more of a consumer type led economic expansion during the next one, we believe. Matt do you see the consumer coming out and starting to spend . Craig yes. Youre exactly right. I think people got geared up when you saw crude fall so much and i think there is a lot that goes into it. I think you are starting to seed that levels come down. I think with young people, there is a lot of student aid that is being paid off. Eventually, that comes into the system, we believe. The companies we are talking to we are starting to see a little bit more strength and we think this could last for a very long time. We are very, very early. Bob diamonds. Diamonds. We have a guy who is going to buy a diamond ring. Julie we are coming closer to break matt we are coming closer to break. Thank you so much for joining us and thanks to julie hyman and bob every. Still ahead, ready for hillary . You better be. The former secretary of state has officially announced her candidacy for president. Florida senator marco rubio will be joining her. He is expected to announce his campaign from miami. Stay with us. Matt trading just get underway. Scarlet weve got to start with apple. Over the weekend in case youve been living under a rock theyve been selling the apple watch through preorders. Apple probably sold one million watches over the weekend through preorders and it could announce initial preorder details this week. It predicts apple will sell 7 million watches in the quarter. In the First Quarter of ipad sales, it went up to 4. 1 9 Million Units in the second full quarter. According to cowan, it is looking for a faster Adoption Rate for the apple watch. We will see how it all plays out. Meantime, pandora is getting a boost on that rising tide lifts all boats kind of theme. They are up by 2. 5 . Spotify is in the process of raising more financing. Matt i was talking with alex sherman about this earlier, about the spotify valuation and the streaming music services. There is a possibility of deals being made in this sector. Scarlet may be you need more than maybe. You need more gen xers to get on board with the music streaming. Supplying and make Building Products for domestic homebuilders Builders Firstsource is up by 50 . They are planning to buy pro build. Investors like that deal. Matt scarlet checking on the early action for us. It is a big day for washington dc. Hillary clinton has entered the 2016 president ial race officially and other republicans will get another contender as soon as this evening. Former Florida Center marco rubio. So much to talk about. Although none of it is really news, except for the actual announcements, are there any surprises you can think of today or yesterday . Peter Hillary Clinton, not a surprise she is jumping in, but there is still this Energy Around it on the democratic side and on the republican side. They were waiting for the opportunity to land some blows on the republican side against Hillary Clinton. This is still a big moment. Likewise for marco rubio, not everyone thought he would jump into the race because jeb bush is in the race. They said next to each other on a planned the other day. That would have been a fascinating conversation. Matt as bob pointed out to me a few moments ago all of these republicans in the race have less or the same experience that barack obama had when he came in. These are basically freshman, right . Peter thats right. Some of them further along in their first term than others some with greater experience on the Foreign Policy stage marco rubio, for example than some of the other members. You can look at each one of them and say they do not have the experience arguably of a Hillary Clinton but they also represent , to some extent, more change than Hillary Clinton and that is what you are going to hear from marco rubio and the biggest hindrance to Hillary Clinton at this point, is that she is not a new face. Matt speaking of Foreign Policy or secretaries of state, john kerry is expected to brief congress on iran what should we expect from that . Peter we should expect a lot of leaks. It is going to happen behind closed doors. The whole point of this is to get in particular, democrats who were on the fence on this nuclear deal and whether congress should have an up or down say desk give the president a little bit more latitude to at least try to reach give the president a little bit more latitude to at least try to reach a deal. That is what they want. Angus king is likely to support the president. He wants congress to have a say sooner rather than later. This might be an uphill fight. This is a delicate balancing act. Matt we have been looking at this the past few weeks through the perspective of the markets. At some points, it looked like the oil price was coming down because Market Participants expected more oil to come online from iran. Was the reverend expectation that the president would negotiate a deal that congress was there ever an expectation that the president would negotiate a deal that congress would approve . Peter there was a sentiment in washington, from those like senator angus king, that this feels more likely than not and if that is the case, then you will see iranian oil back on the world market perhaps sooner than some thought and that is something that oil markets will have to factor in. Is it a greater likelihood that it happens over the next year or two . Yes. Matt we ran out of time when you are talking with senator kaine, but im sure you spoke with him before and after the interview. Senator king, but im sure you spoke with him before and after the interview. Peter he said the benefit of being an independent is that he does not have to weigh in on the benefits democrats or republicans running. He is not going there. He gets the high hat of an independent to not weigh in on the nominating process. A bit of a dodge, but not a big surprise. Matt thank you very much. Peter cook there after his interview with angus king. Still ahead Hedge Fund Manager Bruce Richards says there are lots of distress opportunities in europe. Where is he putting his money . Matt Bruce Richards says there are lots of distressed opportunities at home and in europe. Stephanie ruhle. You will be talking to one of the most intelligent, kindest, most fun wall street dudes. Stephanie im pretty sure you think that because i think you went to dinner at his house with bon jovi. I think that is what you think he is so special. It does make him special. That is not why i am excited to sit down with him. We are talking about where he is investing. Marathon has only gotten bigger. They always send up on bloombergs top 100 list. Since the day i walked into bloomberg, bruce has been saying the greatest opportunities lie in peripheral europe. When is it really going to pay off . Are we seeing major improvements in spain, in portugal, in greece . Not so much. Guess where else he invested . Matt where else . Stephanie near the United States. Matt haiti. Stephanie thank you for caring about me. Puerto rico. Many who invested heavily in detroit have been saying that puerto rico is the next great opportunity. They continue to take yet another leg down. That is another place where bruce is well invested. Matt just say you know, the first time i met him was not with bon jovi at his house. It was what i interviewed him on the set and he was investing during the Great Recession to try to save america and make money for his investors. Stephanie how did that end up you going to dinner at his house with bon jovi . Matt that was a different thing. Stephanie i have interviewed bruce a number of times. We are also going to get his reaction to central bank intervention, current fed policy , the hedge fund climate in general. I dont think im going to be getting a denver dinner invite, but there is hope. Matt im sure you have. The masters was one of the top two greatest experiences of my life. I also got to drive a lamborghini at the new jersey motorsports park. Stephanie oh to be in new jersey. How did you feel about jordan . Matt he only won because he had such a great round on the first day. Stephanie im sorry. Jordan and rory are bringing golf back. Matt hbos most Popular Series game of thrones returned to Television Screens last night. We know this series is incredibly popular, but what about the new service hbo now . I was asking last night, what is hbo now . I usually watch things on hbo go. Hbo now Just Launched last tuesday. Hbo go has been around for the past few years as a connection with cable tv subscribers. Looking at the numbers, we are going to be looking ahead to next week to see how well it played out. Nielsen usually releases numbers overnight, but hbo decided to withhold them. They said the snapshot overnight was not enough to get a good view. We are going to look for the 18. 5 million mark. Matt hbo now, you can watch hbo live, like you had cable. Hbo go is like a vod service. Hbo now, you dont need a cable tv subscription. It is targeting the cord cutters. They dont want to go to comcast and verizon and say, im going to go on to my television and i am going to watch it on there. I have some interesting graphics that are very telling. The first one is about basic cable subscribers. They are down nearly 20 between 2005 and 2013. They are expected to fall further, too. Cable tv companies are stressed out. Onto our next graphic, they are going to need highspeed data in order to stream those videos on demand. Matt the only reason why i stick with cable is that i also get super highspeed internet through verizon. Same here. The last graphic, looking ahead for him 2015 through 2018, look at the number of cord cutters. They are going to be jumping to 16 Million People a 150 increase. I dont have a basic cable tv subscription. It is targeting the millennial generation who dont want to pay 100 per month and pay 15 per month. Matt youre not really a cord cutter because you are still paying a Cable Company to get the internet. We are going to need to come up with a new term for cord cutters. You are still going to pay 50 or 100 per internet and they are going to find a way to get our money. Thank you. Before we leave, i have a correction to make. Last week, we said that ibm executives were selling shares of the Company Stock. After reviewing the facts i want to correct an error. The Vice President of communications said Senior Executives are net buyers of the stop, not net sellers. Managers are required to own shares three times the cash compensation. We apologize. That does it for in the loop. Tomorrow, we kick off the big banks earning parade. That he lewis back. Get excited. Betty liu is back. Get excited.
