hello there. from the travel to the weather, and what a contrast we had across the country this morning. chilly in northumberland, and 13 in weymouth. the milder and lasted from last week across southern parts and is set to push northwards. you can see it here on the charts, the yellow and orange colours, and just watch how that is just creeping its way slowly northwards through today. it is coming on the back edge of a weak warm front which you can make out there. the cold front which will make the most of the rain, and that is this batch of white com you can see the rain coming out of the radar in northern ireland in a moment, but the warm front is lying somewhere from northern ireland down towards the south—east, a few heavier bursts of rain working its way to what east anglia and kent, and the odd splash of light rain and drizzle across parts of northern england and eventually southern scotland too. what it does me is that things get milder, cloud and the southend west will break up, much more sunshine
