It is really amazing to see someone like that come out and to kind of have young trans people and even young people who arent trans have a role model to look up to like that. I always kind of say the more we can normalise trans experiences and the more people can see trans experiences and trans People Living their everyday life, the easier its going to be for trans people in society. So in that sense, it is amazing, but transition is very personal and identity is very personal and everyone should be able to come out on their own time and they should be able to live to live their kind of experience in their own way, and for someone to be forced out that way, its really problematic unfortunately. Its not unique. We see people pushed in workplaces and education settings to come out well before theyre ready and to come out in ways that make them uncomfortable, and itsjust, kind of educating people on how to react when a trans person comes out is really important. Im sure you didnt just watch the video, but you also watch the reaction very carefully. Its been one of the most read stories around the world today. Its gotten a lot of traction. Have you taken a lot of hope from the reaction . Yeah, i think so. I think any time Something Like this happens, you go ok, there could be a bad reaction. Recently its been low pressure bringing winds and rain, that low pressure is all thats left of storm brendan. This weather front here all thats left of the wet and windy weather. Some rain to clear away from southeastern parts of england and then sun will be out. Most of the showers in the northwest board scotland, snow levels rising but frequent showers here. I think it will be windy as well. Elsewhere, breezy. Not as windy as it has been, but some parts of the uk are cooler than northern areas. There is another weather system arriving as we head into thursday. Weve got this area of low pressure winding itself up together with those weather fronts. For many eastern areas it may be a dry day, some sunshine increasing cloud out to the waistcoat though the clouds thickening up. West though. So gales on the way. Its a southerly wind or southeastern the wind, should be pretty mild, temperatures double figures for many parts of the uk. That rather front will bring a dollop of rain and some strong winds. As we headed to friday, we have a few weather fronts on the scene. They are focusing the showers into bands of showers so today of sunshine its a day of sunshine and showers. Elsewhere it should be dry, closer to the High Pressure, those temperatures typically six to 8 degrees. It may well start with frost on saturday morning, there could be frost on sunday morning as well. That High Pressure is becoming more dominant, always hanging on to some strong winds across scotland, even on sunday. It looks like it will be dry for many parts of the country will be dry for many parts of the cou ntry after will be dry for many parts of the country after a chilly start. It should be quite a sunny day for the second half of the weekend once again. Those temperatures again typically at six or seven, notice its milder in the far northwest of scotland.
