The scotland and Northern Ireland there are changes from this is as weather, i will fill you there are changes from this is as weather, iwill fill you in there are changes from this is as weather, i will fill you in on the details in 15 minutes. Good morning, first our main story. The number of Mobile Phones and drugs smuggled into prisons is unacceptable, according to the government. More than 20,000 phones and sim cards and over 200 kilograms of narcotics were found in jails in england and wales last year. The seizures follow a £2 Million Investment in technology to detect contra band, as James Waterhouse reports. Many will say this continuing trend of contraband being smuggled into jails through whatever means possible only highlights the scale of the challenge facing Prison Officers, whove had to deal with staff cuts and growing violence over recent years. Just in april, a european watchdog warned that incidents in ukjails were spiralling out of control, making them unsafe for both prisoners and staff. The latest Ministry Ofjustice figures say there are 86,000 inmates in england and wales. 7000 mobile sim cards were found in 2016, along with 13,000 Mobile Phones. Theyre a valuable resource behind bars, too, sometimes being rented out for up to £1000. Along with the seizure of 200 kilograms of illegal drugs, it is the scale of the problems that forces the government to act once more. The trade is built on a very, very strong market, and although this is good news and it is good that these measures are being taken, The Next Step for the government is to ask itself why the demand drugs and phones is so high in prisons. This £2 Million Investment in equipment brought into every prison can detect phones. 300 dogs have also been trained to find drugs. Ministers acknowledge they could not stop there, though. The government has recently had a recruitment drive, saying it is on track to bring in 2500 more officers by 2018. And justice secretary David Lidington will be on the Andrew Marr Programme at 9am with more on this. The parents of charlie gard are expected to help deliver a petition to great 0rmond Street Hospital later, calling on doctors to allow their terminally ill baby to travel abroad for experimental treatment. A new hearing about the case is due in the high Court Tomorrow. John mcmanus is outside great 0rmond Street Hospital for us this morning. The Court Hearing tomorrow, but the petition later today, obviously his pa rents a re petition later today, obviously his parents are going to hope it will make some sort of difference . Thats right, more than 325,000 people have signed this petition, with the help of charlies parents. They watched doctors at great 0rmond Street to change their mind and allow the parents of charlie to take him out of the country so that he can be treated abroad with an experimental treatment that might start to halt or perhaps in some weight reverse the Genetic Disorder that he has which means that he is being kept alive here on a Life Support Machine. In april the High Court Told great 0rmond Street doctors they could turn off the Life Support Machine but his parents have been fighting that through the courts. Up until 110w that through the courts. Up until now the hospital have opposed them but as you say there is a hearing in the high Court Tomorrow which the hospital has called for, they say Thatis Hospital has called for, they say that is because they have received new Potential Evidence from researchers aboard about these experimental treatments which might be able to help charlie. They want The High Court to decide whether that means the ruling should be changed and charlie could leave london, but they say they want that decision to be made by thejudges themselves. Charlies parents of course said they are going to carry on fighting for their son. Thank you very much. Iraqi State Television is reporting that Government Forces are on the verge of retaking the city of mosul. It was seized by so called Islamic State more than three years ago. But after nine months of intense fighting, iraqi soldiers have been celebrating on the streets, despite no official word of a victory. 0ur defence correspondent Jonathan Beale has more. Its been the fight of their lives. Their Battle To Retake Mosul from the Group Calling itself Islamic State started in october last year. Theyve lost many comrades along the way. But today the Iraqi Security forces were firing their weapons in celebration, claiming victory over their enemy. Translation this joy has been achieved by the sacrifices of our martyrs and the blood of our wounded heroes. God willing, may happiness prevail in iraq. After nearly nine months of brutal street to street fighting, the Security Forces now believe they have defeated is in a city that was once their stronghold. But there are still pockets of resistance and the occasional sound of gunfire. But look everywhere around you and youll see that pretty much every building has been damaged or destroyed. If this is victory, its come at a cost. No one yet knows how many civilians have lost their lives in the city. Its still a fight for survival. Translation hunger, thirst, fear and aerial bombardment. We lived in the cellar. Look at this. Our house was destroyed above us. The extremists Reign Of Terror may be coming to an end. But theyre by no means finished in iraq. Anti capitalist protesters have clashed with German Police in hamburg for a third consecutive night. The violence came at the end of the g20 summit, where World Leaders discussed Climate Change and trade among other issues. 0ur Political reporter Jonathan Blakejoins us now. At the end of these things, the leaders are always keen to put a good spin on whatever they have contributed all got out of these things and that is very much the case with donald trump and theresa may, isnt it . Yes, at the start of the g20 summit in hamburg, angela merkel, the german leader who is hosting it, said she wanted World Leaders to come together and find compromise to help find solutions to some of the worlds biggest problems, but when you have 19 countries plus the European Union altogether in the same place it is difficult to get them to agree on the detail of any specific plan. This summit will be remembered more for the face to face meetings between leaders, firstly donald trump and that amir putin, who met for the first time at the g20 in hamburg, every detail of their Body Language and the comments they made to the media has been analysed closely. Their relationship will be key, not least to what happened in syria. But also between donald trump and theresa may, we are seeing this morning talk of a trade deal between the us and uk after brexit in play, donald trump saying it will be a very powerful trade deal which will be done very quickly. You have to ta ke very be done very quickly. You have to take very quickly with a pinch of salt because they cannot even Start Talking about it really until the uk has left the European Union in march 2019, so it is all relative, but it gives theresa may something of a boost coming back from hamburg to show she is at least partly in control of that process a little bit more than before the election. Jonathan, thank you. A wealthy businessman has submitted alternative plans for a third runway at heathrow, which he says would save more than £5 billion. The hotel tycoon, surinder arora, suggests changing the design of terminal buildings and reducing the amount of land built on. A spokesperson for the airport said they would Welcome Views on the plans during a Public Consultation later this year. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend a rally in the turkish city of istanbul to protest against the government of president erdogan. The event is being held to mark the end of a 280 mile march from ankara. It was organised by the opposition to highlight the mass arrests and sackings since last years failed coup. A State Of Emergency has been declared in the canadian province of british columbia, where the authorities are trying to battle more than 180 wildfires. Thousands of homes have been evacuated, and some destroyed. Most of the fires started after Lightning Strikes in dry electrical storms. The Church Of England will vote today on whether to allow Special Services for transgender people following their transition. At the synods annual meeting in york, prominent figures will address calls for the church to update its attitudes towards sexuality. The Lake District will find out today whether it will be given unesco World Heritage status. If successful, it would become the uks 31st such site, as Caroline Rigby reports. From the Great Barrier reef to the taj mahal and the grand canyon, theyre some of the most recognisable sights in the world. Soon, the Lake District could be a member of their prestigious club. Later today, delegates from unesco will announce whether they deemed the region inspiring enough and irreplaceable enough to be protected under World Heritage status. It would be lovely if it did. It would be very nice if it was voted one of the top places in the world to see. I have been coming here for over 40 years. It has changed a lot. It is popular but there are so many beautiful things here that need to be recognised and protected. With its towering peaks and glistening waters, the National Park currently attracts around 80 million tourists a year. They contribute over £1 billion to the local economy. But critics worry that attaining World Heritage status could see even more visitors descend on the region, putting extra pressure on the landscape. 0thers argue it would mean greater funding and investment. A World Heritage site, it would demonstrate the changing landscape, because its not natural, thats shaped by people with their farming practices, poets, they have spoken about this landscape and people come to see it. It will draw new customers and new visitors whove never heard of this area. It is a tick of the box to visit a World Heritage site. Poet William Wordsworth once described as the loveliest spot known to man. But will unesco agree . If successful, it would become the 31st World Heritage site in the uk joining places like Hadrians Wall and stonehenge, and the houses of parliament. The current levels of violence, drugs and Mobile Phones in prisons in england and wales are unacceptable, according to the government. Last year alone, following investments in technology and sniffer dogs, Prison Officers confiscated about 225 kilos in narcotics and 20,000 Mobile Phones and sim cards. But with illegal activity remaining stubbornly high behind bars, what more can be done to tackle it . Dave todd from the Prison Officers Association joins us. Thank you for coming in. We are hearing the government saying this is an acceptable, it is trying to do something about it with this investment programme. What is your ta ke investment programme. What is your take on contra band investment programme. What is your take on contraband in prisons . M investment programme. What is your take on contraband in prisons . It is the first time i will agree with the government, it is a massive problem and it needs addressing, and it needs addressing fundamentally by recruitment and retention of Prison Officers. If we havent got Prison Officers. If we havent got Prison Officers in post, we cannot develop searching strategies, we cant stop Mobile Phones coming in, we cant stop drugs coming in, which destabilises regimes and makes it very, very difficult for Prison Officers to do theirjob. The government says it is hiring new Prison Officer is so are you reassured by that . Im reassured but the Retention Rate currently is running at 9 , which leaves a massive skills gap in the workforce. Jl kraft is all important and if you havent got experienced staff to pass that two new stuff, there are massive issues. The big issue as how does it come into prisons in the first place and presumably there is not one answer on that . No, there is not. I would like to see blockers rather than mobile phone detectors. If you havent got staff, you could detect a signal, but you havent got staff to receive it. Block the whole Prison System . Absolutely. What about Prison Officers themselves . There is some evidence that corrupt officers are bringing some of this contraband in, what do you know about that . I think in every profession you get corruption and U Nfortu Nately Profession you get corruption and unfortunately the Prison Service is no different. Why is that . Do you think they are tempted because of the page, do you think they are threatened to bring them in . What is being looked at about that . This is what i refer to as jail Craft Experience being handed down. New Prison Officers may be compromised by threats, they may be taken in by financial gain, which is not a cce pta ble financial gain, which is not acceptable and my union does not defend those people. What are Prison Officers saying to you about what an epidemic this is . It is repetitive throughout the country, spice is such a nasty drug, we have never seen anything like it before in the Prison Service and it can turn a decent man into an animal. The Prison Reform trust were on the programme earlier and they were telling us that the problem is that a lot of the inmates havent got anything to do, they are not being allowed out of their cells, presumably because of recruitment issues because there are not enough of this is perhaps to be doing anything with them, but it seems to bea anything with them, but it seems to be a spiral that we keep on hearing and it is not going away, if it . No, you can backtrack in time to around 2010 with the failed concept of benchmarking which was to reduce Prison Officer numbers, we lost 8000 and although there is a promise of 2500, in real terms government needs to recruit 4000 year on year for the next two years to bring us to where we were. In terms of the ones they are recruiting, how much of an issue privatised prisons have been, those run by Companies Rather than directly by government . They are facing the same problems, we have members in private jails as well as publicjails, we would like to see alljails publicjails, we would like to see all jails return to publicjails, we would like to see Alljails Return to the Public Sector but they are no different, this epidemic, it doesnt matter what Service Provider is there, it is in them. Thank you very much for coming on, interesting to speak to you, dave todd from the prison 0fficers you, dave todd from the Prison Officers Association. It is 8 16am. Youre watching breakfast from bbc news. The main stories this morning. Hundreds of kilograms of drugs and 13,000 Mobile Phones were found in prisons in england and wales last year, according to the Ministry Ofjustice. The parents of baby Charlie Gard Will Help deliver a petition to great 0rmond Street, calling on doctors to let him travel abroad for treatment. A mixed weather picture this morning, i think it is fair enough to say that, alan . I think to say that, alan . Ithink so, to say that, alan . I think so, it is a different data yesterday. I thought this is a beautiful picture, it is not exactly bright and sunny but very atmospheric in cornwall. We are fairly confident that Misty Low Cloud will lift and things will brighten through the day. But here in Argyll And Bute we are stuck under a Weather Front though there will be rain on and off, brighter spells across scotland but you can see the band of cloutier, that is the Weather Front i am talking about, the mist and low cloud sitting around the coast. We have got rain to go with the cloud but this is the radar picture, the rainfall latest, and that will pack up as we go through the day because we have got this next wiggle of the Weather Front moving in from the atlantic. Northern ireland, southern and central parts of scotland will see that through the afternoon. To the North And South of that, much brighter compared with yesterday across the north of scotland including the highlands and islands, and warm as well we have lost the breeze and cloud, but in contrast after yesterdays warns it will feel chilly if you are under the rain band today in Northern Ireland, southern and central scotland. Back into the sunshine across england and wales, still coastal fog around into the sunshine across england and wales, still coastalfog around but temperatures will store inland, higher than yesterday by a degree or two, into The 80s Fahrenheit potentially in southern and eastern areas and we could see strong sunshine again, and those temperatures could spark a Late Afternoon shower or the possibility of thunderstorms, very small chance of thunderstorms, very small chance of that at lords, of thunderstorms, very small chance of that at lords, i think we will get a good days play but it will be sunny at times, strong sunshine at this time of year. Those thunderstorms if they develop will rumble into the evening and overnight and then we see the Weather Front across scotland and Northern Ireland starting to move south. Behind that, fresh air will arrive, so a chilly night for parts of scotla nd arrive, so a chilly night for parts of scotland and Northern Ireland but we still have that very muggy air across southern and eastern areas, possibly storms from france late into the night into tomorrow morning, so the potential to wake up and drive to work in those downpours across central and eastern parts of england across the morning and it will turn out to be a showery day, it isa will turn out to be a showery day, it is a day of transition tomorrow. Still quite warm in 25 in the south east, but thereafter next week looks much more unsettled and for some of us suffering with the heat it wont be as oppressive by night, we will have some more comfortable nights. Back to you two. It was one of the worst naval tragedies of the first world war. And today, a ceremony will be held to remember the 843 men who lost their lives when hms vanguard sank Off 0rkney Injuly 1917. To mark the centenary of the disaster, a team of divers has been given special permission to document the wreck. 0ur scotland correspondent lorna gordon has more. In the cold Northern Waters of scapa flow, the final Resting Place of hms vanguard, a Dreadnought Battleship from world war i. The bow and stern almost entirely intact after 100 years under the water. This the first group of civilian divers to be given permission to document the wreck since it was designated a war grave. I think the loss of life was never very far away from my mind as were diving on the ship. That said, we had a job to do, and an obligation to do thatjob to the best of our ability. So you got on with the work but, yes, parts of the wreck are very emotional. Very emotional indeed. Ships steaming into the war base at scapa flow. Along with many other ships, vanguard would be anchored in the seas off 0rkney. She had seen action at the battle ofjutland, but on a Summer Evening Injuly 1917, the entire ship was destroyed after a magazine exploded. She sank almost instantly, with the loss of almost all her crew. 843 men died. Only two of those on board at the time survived. The team of Volunteer Divers spent hundreds of hours surveying the wreck, piecing together its story. Lying at a death of around 100 feet, and among the artefacts discovered, the telegraph, cutlery, an anchor lying half buried in the sand. As part of the commemorations, the sign was recently replaced by divers. A century on, honouring the many lives lost in what was a catastrophic accident. Some poignant pictures there ahead of that commemoration today. 8 22am. Youre watching breakfast from bbc news. Now lets take a look at the newspapers. The writer and broadcaster Robert Meakin is here to tell us whats caught his eye. First of all, lets take a look at the front pages for you this morning. We are going to head to the sunday times, and they are talking about donald trump throw in theresa may a lifeline with a trade deal. Picture there on the front, the lions share of the glory in that test series clincher, kieran read and Sam Warburton both raising the trophy there. Front page of the telegraph also has that story about donald trump and theresa may and a trade deal, the trump card, they call it, not the only paper to pick up on that for a headline. And the photograph is of Prince William and prince harry, who are going to be in a new documentary on itv about their mother, diana. Lets ta ke on itv about their mother, diana. Lets take a look at the observer. Their top story is about german industry Warning Britain not to rely on its help in securing a good brexit deal. In a stark intervention, it says, it strikes a blow at the governments eu departure plans. The front page of the mail, we will mention this briefly, because we will talk about it in more detail, Andrew Mitchell has said theresa may must quit now, he is a former tory Cabinet Minister of course. He said david davis is the man to take over and that is in the observer. It is, and there is a picture rob him. Is he ready to take on the top job as it is a job he had his eye on before . He certainly did, it is a long time ago now, back in 2000 and 5p was the Bookies Favourite to be leader and then one Young David Cameron came through for the tories and comfortably beat him in a two way battle at the end, so he has been around a long time and i think he has stood in a Leadership Contest even before then. He might be, as far as the tories are concerned, the right person as the right at the right person as the right at the right time. You have a caretaker prime minister, always an ominous title to have. He is busy at the minute, he is the minister in charge of delivering brexit . Which is why people think he might be the one who almost by default has to start into the role if it becomes too much for theresa may to do the job. We are getting two versions of events, we need to do this now, seize the initiative, she is a lame duck prime minister. The other side, we are going through the most difficult time in our political history, certainly in recent decades, and it is better to have a bit of stability and let her go out and front the negotiations for the time being. Im just not sure the way the tory party operates, there is so much manoeuvring behind the scenes, they will not forgive her for the fact that she did not deliver that majority for them and i think it will mean she goes sooner rather than later. Which could play into Jeremy Corbyns hands . Yes, he is rightly feeling confident and the minute. Talking about mps, and theresa may, she has ordered a review over some of the abuse that mps get online. We have heard numerous accounts, and of course the terrible events of last year, jo cox, mps are very much in the public eye, arent they . really do think it is a serious problem now. Certainly in my lifetime the country feels as divided as it has ever been politically, and this last general election i think, from what people are saying on the ground, was the worst so far in terms of, 0k, are saying on the ground, was the worst so far in terms of, ok, you have got online abuse, abuse on the doorstep, campaigning on the streets, party banners, posters being vandalised, it just streets, party banners, posters being vandalised, itjust at streets, party banners, posters being vandalised, it just at times the general election got pretty dangerous for some of the candidates, and that has got to be a very sorry state of affairs, whatever your political persuasion is, if democratic debate is not being allowed, people being intimidated out of saying what they believe, it is a shabby state of affairs, i think. I believe, it is a shabby state of affairs, ithink. I dont believe, it is a shabby state of affairs, i think. I dont know what affairs, i think. I dont know what a report or review can do about it, mike dear is it will only get worse. We were talking about the lions, picture there on the front page of many of the papers, and the pubs we re many of the papers, and the pubs were open early serving up breakfast and excitement on the television. Certainly in cardiff, where i was yesterday morning, at 8 30am they we re yesterday morning, at 8 30am they were all spilling out onto the pavement landlords across england, wales, scotland and ireland are the regard of the lions tour i was in a hostelry myself last weekend watching the second test and so glad it would be decided this time around because i knew the pubs would be fun again. A brilliant achievement by the lions, we would have loved a win but playing the best team in the world, the lions only having a few weeks together, it is a fantastic achievement. As a rugby fan i wanted it to continue and seeing those players played together, Johnny Sexton linking with 0wen Farrell Ann jonathan davies. I was so sad it ended, i certainly wanted extra time although if there was a new zealander sitting here now he would say there was a scandalous decision at the end of the game that cost them the victory but i was happy to go away with a draw from hated to fated, camilla, the duchess of cornwall, is going to be 70. There isa cornwall, is going to be 70. There is a piece in the mirror looking at the change in her image. There was a lot of work done in the last few yea rs lot of work done in the last few years to try and change her image and win over the public. She was labelled the most hated woman in britain for obvious reasons, because most peoples perception of her inevitably was she was the woman who was the reason for the break up of charles and dianas marriage, and there were lots of polls at the time, saying, if he dares marry her, he should not be king, that was the consensus. That has gone rather quiet now. I think they probably managed it pretty carefully but also i think theyjust managed it pretty carefully but also i think they just allowed her to come out and show her true personality because by all accounts she is quite funny, relaxed, an informal person who likes a drink, she is probably not what people imagine her to be initially. It is her 70th birthday this coming weekend, so compared to where she was 20 years ago as a person in the public to now, it is quite a journey. A quick mention of this one in the sunday mirror. James bond fa ns in the sunday mirror. James bond fans will probably be pleased. Daniel craig is staying . For a shed load of money, im sure he made a joke saying he would rather slashed his wrists than play james bond again, he had just had six months of torture elaine bond, jumping up and down. It must be hard he made that joke that down. It must be hard he made thatjoke that he did not want to do the role, i dont think that was the case. He is almost as good as roger moore. Tom hiddleston will have to wait a bit longer, he was the Bookies Favourite thank you. Coming up on the programme. Theyre some of the most recognisable sites in the world, but could the Lake District soon be part of their club . Well find out why unesco is considering granting it World Heritage status. Stay with us headlines coming up. Hello, this is breakfast with rogerjohnson and sian lloyd. Just appeared with the boat and but first, a summary of this mornings main news. 13,000 Mobile Phones and more than 200 kilograms of drugs were found in prisons in england and wales last year. The haul comes after a £2 Million Investment in technology to aid detection, as well as 300 specialist sniffer dogs. The government has described the situation as unacceptable, but says its introduced measures to tackle the problem. The Prison Reform trust says that the underlying problems remain. Lift, we cut some people are going into prison with a drug problem and some people start to use drugs in prison as a way of coping. That is the first thing. The second thing in relation to phones is that legitimate use of the telephone in prison is difficult. The parents of charlie gard are expected to help deliver a petition to great 0rmond Street Hospital, calling on doctors to allow the terminally ill baby to travel for experimental treatment. The petition has been signed by more than 350,000 people. Charlie gards case is due to return to the high Court Tomorrow, after the hospital said it had seen claims of new evidence relating to a potential therapy. State television in iraq is reporting that Security Forces are on the verge of retaking the city of mosul. It was seized by so called Islamic State more than three years ago, and has been the focus of intense fighting over the last nine months. Iraqi soldiers have been celebrating on the streets, despite no official word of a victory. Anti capitalist protesters clashed with German Police for a third night in hamburg, following the end of the g20 summit hosted in the city. Police used Water Cannons and tear gas to push them back, after some set fire to vehicles. During the summit, World Leaders declared the paris climate agreement irreversible, despite President Trump pulling the us out. While theresa may left the meetings confident about Post Brexit Trade deals. At the synods annual meeting in york, prominent figures will address calls for the church to update its attitudes towards sexuality. Well. Theres still a lot of discrimination in the core people that exist in so many levels. We have seen a remarkable change from the people exerting that they are not better or worse off for being 93v not better or worse off for being gay or straight. They are all equal in the sight of god. President has been at the g20 cevert. When he left the when he came back to the us, he came to an end of a marine when his hat blew off. It happened in maryland as he prepared to travel to the white house. As the marines stood to attention, it blew right of again lucky it was just the hat that moved off. Lucky, mr president. He comfortably beat the 27th seed, mischa zverev, in straight sets on centre court. Federer will play Bulgarias Grigor Dimitrov next. I think it is important to get through the first week with a good feeling. I think i got that. The first one, the walkover, that did not give me much information but it saved my energy. May crucial energy, looking down the stretch. Obviously, we go one round at a time and, i must say, my first goal was to get to the second week and i did that today. I am happy now to sit back, relax and come back strongly on monday. Three time champion Novak Djokovic is also safely through to the second week of wimbledon. He hasnt even dropped a set yet although he did have a disagreement with the umpire early on when he was a break down in the first set against ernest gulbis. But it seemed to focus djokovic, who went through in straight sets. It was a little more precarious in the the womens draw. Top seed Angelique Kerber only just scraped through against Shelby Rogers of the usa. Kerber reached the final last year, but fell to a set and a break down, before eventually coming through to set up what will be one of the tastiest match ups of the next round shell play 2016 french open champion garbine muguruza. Now, Marcus Willis remember him . Last year he wowed the wimbledon crowd when as a qualifier ranked 772 in the world, he reached the second round of the mens singles, where he played Roger Federer. Well, willis didnt make it to the main draw this year but he is impressing in the mens doubles. Along with fellow britonjay clarke, they produced the shock result of the day. They knocked out defending champions, french pair Pierre Hugues Herbert and nicolas mahut, in a five set thriller. The british pair only played their first event together a fortnight ago. Andy murray of course plays tomorrow. Brotherjamie has teamed up with five time grand slam champion Martina Hingis in the mixed doubles this year, and it looks like a great pairing. Their first match together secured them a place in the third round when they beat britains neal skupski and anna smith in less than an hour. The British And Irish Lions head coach Warren Gatland says people will look back on the new zealand tour as a success. The lions drew the final test match 15 points all, meaning the series against the world champions was shared. It was a thrilling finish to the game in auckland. 0wen farrells late penalty kick drew the lions level in the game. A disputed offside decision denied the all blacks a further penalty so the series ended 1 1. And gatland says he hasnt ruled out taking charge of the lions for a third time. My focus now is back on wales and looking forward to 2019. I definitely finish there, unless they get rid of me before then. And then i dont know. Maybe i come back home or maybe something else. I mightjust go to the beach and put my feet up for a while, i dont know but, um, you never say never. He probably deserves a bit of a holiday, doesnt he . This stunning goal was scored by noah in the final of an under nines tournament in bristol. His side won 2 0. Not sure if he actually intended it, but who knows . Va nessa vanessa to me, no offence, noah, it looks like you are clearing your lines, rather than aiming for the goal. Do we care . That was fantastic that means, if it is well under nines, he was probably eight . Lovely to see that. You mentioned bonkers money, lionel messi, front page of the sunday times. How would you spend that . Brea kfast times. How would you spend that . Breakfast mug . Breakfast mug challenge has been a real hit. Andy murray is top of the lead. He got as many tennis balls into the mug from a set distance as you can in 32nd. We can of course reveal mo farah will be doing its second. Fourtime 0lympic will be doing its second. Fourtime Olympic Champion. I know that mo is very competitive, so he will want to beat andy murray in this. Earlier this week, mike bushell, went to find out he got on when he swapped the track for tennis. Net mo farah, you have won five World Championship golds narrator this is a great start. They are so close, they are so close. As we get up to 15 seconds. So close, this is really hard. Its just shows what a challenge this is. Theyre reining in our ive seen a couple go in. If youd counted those ones but hippy ruin so close its hard. Thank you, guys. You can see hes really psyched up for it as well. He looked disappointed at the end with four. He could have run back and forth and put more than for its union. Lets have a look at where mo ranks on our leaderboard. Still a way off andy murrays 14 but four is certainly not a bad score. Hes level with Heather Watson and milos raonic. It has been great watching those. It has been great Watching Thosem has, and mo farah is running at the london anniversary games. Hes running the 3000 metres in preparation for the World Championships next month. Thank you, jeff. Lovely to see you, take care. Bradley lowery may have lived a short life, but he achieved so much during it. The six year old captured the hearts and minds of people up and down the country with his determination and infectious smile. Bradley died on friday after battling a rare form of cancer. But he never let his illness get in his way. Net bradley lived with neuroblastoma for most of his life. He was diagnosed when he was just 18 months old. A sunderland fan, he went on to become the clubs mascot, and thats where he met akira, jermain defoe. The england striker described him as his best friend in this emotional tweet. Many took to social media to pay tribute to a young boy, whose legacy is his energy and his smile. Were joined now by Alastair Whitington from neuroblastoma uk. As sian was saying, bradley really has brought to prominence to this illness and made it something that people now have heard of, if they hadnt before. Just tell us a little bit more about it, and why it is such a dangerous illness for youngsters. Neuroblastoma is a disease of young children, babies, normally before the age of five, although it can be later. As a disease it shows 35 children per year and 100 children are diagnosed, thatis year and 100 children are diagnosed, that is two per week. For the dose nature of the disease, we are still only 40 50 survival rate. As opposed to Something Like leukaemia, which many years ago was in the offence that as when neuroblastoma is, but is now in the 80 90 percent. What we need to do is try to invest in research to get a cure for the disease and wounded in the same direction as leukaemia. Bradley was incredibly brave. And his story, no doubt, has raised the profile of this condition. You think that will help with your aim, what you were talking about, with more of research and getting people talking about it and getting people talking about it and realising that perhaps something could be done . I would hope so. I think before bradleys case, many people would never have heard of neuroblastoma as a disease. He has certainly raised the awareness of it. Cannot translate into moving forward in terms of hopefully raising funds how that translates in terms of moving forward. Its almost entirely done by charities such as neuroblastoma age uk. We have put in Something Like £800,000 that we have raised. Bradley was a Football Supporter and if im the first day of the Premier League every premier club £1 for everyone who came through the turnstiles, that would double the amount. As we we re that would double the amount. As we were saying at the end of the sport, £1 million for lionel messi in one week. Thats more than moderately raised in a year. It is a disease that something can be done about. Thats more than you raise in a year. When i started 30 years ago, every child with high risk disease died. We are now improving up to 4050 . We died. We are now improving up to 40 50 . We are developing treatments throughout research and i can see before the end of my lifetime that we could, if we get the right investment, even to the right position where we are now where we would not be in the same situation as leukaemia. Am i right in saying that bradley went to america to raise treatment . in saying that bradley went to america to raise treatment . I was aware that they were fund raising. But unfortunately bradleys disease progressed to such gusto that he was unable to go. Sorry, that is my poor recollection. Progressed to such a state that he was unable to those. Manor are there other merritt are there other advances being made in other countries . We work with our collea g u es other countries . We work with our colleagues in europe. In order to get the power, the numbers in terms of power and the trials. We work closely together. Certainly across europe, the treatments are identical and we work very closely with our colleagues in america, and working closely in getting the same trials to ensure that we get a quick answer. Thats the way to move forward. Thank you very much for coming in. Of course, we are thinking bradleys family at this sad time. This is where we say goodbye to sian who will read the news for Andrew Mullen he starts at nine oclock. The first One Last Look at the weather. Thank you very much indeed. A bit more of a mixed bag today. Not a wash out for most of us. This is in Argyll And Bute where we are stuck under the Weather Front. This Argyll And Bute where we are stuck under the weatherfront. This is Argyll And Bute where we are stuck under the Weather Front. This is the Weather Front ive been talking about, that is where the thick cloud is. But we have a bit more rain and some coastal mist. The raiders is patchy at the moment but it will increase the rain is patchy. To the North And South of that, a much brighter prospect. Some fairly decent weather on offer and it is coinciding with the weekend. Not too many complaints with the forecast. A woman as well as bright and drier day. A warmer as well as brighter. There will be some lighter periods of rain, of course, as well. To the south of that would lift the mist and low cloud off the coast and it will brighten quite nicely. A little warmer than yesterday. Quite stifling in certain areas. If you are heading to the sporting events, you could have a downpour. They will be few and far between. A very small chance if you are heading off to the test match. Similarly so for the anniversary games going on. Those thunderstorms across east wales, east anglia and the south east will rumble on, but they are few and far between. I Weather Front turns more shane lowry as it tracks southwards overnight also it allows fresh air. That brings with it the risk of further downpours tomorrow. Through the morning rush hour we could have some through the day. There will be more unsettled weather with no showers around tomorrow. It looks brighter and drier for Northern Ireland and scotland. Thereafter, a more unsettled picture. If you found the night time is uncomfortable. And, it will at least be fresher. Have a good weekend. We will try. You as well, helen from the grand canyon to the pyramids and machu picchu theyre some of the most iconic sites in the world. And the Lake District could soon be joining their ranks. Thats if unesco grant the region World Heritage status. Delegates are due to announce their decision later today. So what makes the National Park so special . Well, just in case unesco still havent made up their mind, werejoined by two people who are sure to sing the Lake Districts praises. Nigel wilkinson is the Managing Director of Windermere Lake cruises, and Harriet Fraser is a writer and poet, whos also a patron of the charity, friends of the Lake District. Thank you both for coming in. Harriet, you are a poet. Wordsworth, of course, is the one who is most identified as a poet with the Lake District. What is it that inspires people . You can see from the pictures youve just shown, its the most beautiful district. But it has a very deep culture which is largely hill farming, but also conservation. Through writing, you can celebrate that. Wordsworth did, and people have been celebrating ever since. Tricks part of. Yes. Nigel, you noticed one of your boats in the film. How important is tourism to the Lake District . Tourism is absolutely essential. It underpins the economy to the Lake District and wider cumbria. We have around 20 million visitors a year to the Lake District and it provides around 18,000 full time employees. So its really significant. Is it difficult for local because there are times when you can go to the lakes drive around quite easily. But around this time of year, there will be a lot of ca rs time of year, there will be a lot of cars heading in off the m6 towards ambleside and windermere. One of the challenges is to manage the Lake District in a sustainable manner. We are a public transport operator, and what better way to get around the la ke what better way to get around the Lake District sustainably and to use of the fantastic services that barack . So, yes, its a challenge, but its one that is being actively managed. Harriet, these pictures are beautiful. What are the places that inspire you . Its not always the summit woolfe, although people head there and you get spectacular views. It can be the quiet woodlands, the much quieter valleys. Its important not to race to the summits pausing the landscape, experienced it in all different weathers. Theres always a good time to go to the Lake District. Its a National Park so it is protected in a large way. What difference would it make to have this unesco World Heritage status . think perhaps people appreciate it for its beauty and dont quite understand the layers beneath that, the storage of the cultural history, the storage of the cultural history, the hillfarming, the storage of the cultural history, the hill farming, the industrial history. I think it will make people stay longer and become more curious, especially as we share more stories about what we are sharing through the status. Its certainly has a huge appeal across the world. But it puts it on to another platform on another level. Does, and a dozen internationally as well as domestically. What we really hope it will act as an economic driver and grow the value, not the volume of tourism, by giving people more aspects to consider. Reasons to make the visit and sustain visits. And to benefit the whole of the county because the Lake District because if the Lake District is designated, we will have two. We already have Hadrians Wall in cumbria as well. With this heritage status comes the obligation to maintain the same level that places like stonehenge do. Liverpool waterfront is under threat of losing it because of development that is planned in liverpool. And almost guarantees the extra level of protection. Yes, but it doesnt keep it in one state borrow. It is evolving and in all sectors everybody is evolving with the times. Absolutely. Its conservation, not preservation. Fantastic. Thank you both very much indeed. Unesco announces its decision later this afternoon so eve Ryo Ne Decision later this afternoon so everyone has their fingers crossed. Thank you both very much indeed. Thats all for us this morning. Dan and louise will be here tomorrow from six. And sally will be back at wimbledon. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Goodbye. This is bbc news.
