Mr zelensky said thousands of lives would be saved and both ukraine and the united states would emerge stronger. At the same time as the ukraine vote, the us house of representatives overwhelmingly approved packages of military assistance for israel and for taiwan, as well as humanitarian aid for gaza, haiti and other war torn regions.
