Those traveling in the area of the New Castle Airport on Saturday afternoon may have seen a little extra traffic and maybe even a presidential motorcade.
President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, landed in Delaware at 3:51 p.m., according to a White House pool reporter. The Bidens boarded the smaller Air Force One plane at 3:17 p.m. at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
Per the pool report, the motorcade pulled out of the airport at 4:02 p.m., and the Bidens arrived 12 minutes later at their Greenville home.
This is Biden's second trip back to Delaware since taking the oath of office.
