Total disengagement only solution for peace along LAC in eastern Ladakh, Indian envoy to top Chinese minister

Beijing: Only the disengagement of troops along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the remaining areas of eastern Ladakh would help restore the peace and tranquility once seen at the border and improve bilateral ties, Indian Ambassador to China, Vikram Misri, told Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui in Beijing on Friday.
