Toronto police board approves $20M budget increase for 2024

The Toronto Police Services Board has voted unanimously in favour of a 1.7 per cent increase in the police's net operating budget next year to bring their funding to nearly $1.2 billion — an increase of $20 million from the 2023 budget.
