Top 10 UK destinations proving a hit with Brits for summer according to Tripadvisor

Torquay, Windermere and York have been Brits' top destinations of choice for the summer holidays, according to Tripadvisor.
The travel site looked at the destinations which have seen the biggest year-on-year increase in searches for the summer, with Devon's Torquay topping the list.
With ongoing uncertainty around international travel - with updates due in early May - it's not surprising that research from the company revealed that 41% of Brits with travel plans are considering a staycation this summer, compared to just 14% who said they will head abroad if restrictions allow.
