thyssenkrupp, RWE sign green electricity deal for DR plant

thyssenkrupp Steel and RWE have signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to supply green electricity to the first direct reduction (DR) plant at the Duisburg location with electrically powered melters.
