The now teacher in Northern Alberta was a member of the Selkirk Steelers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, who won the provincial Turnbull Cup before going the full seven games needed to knock off the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League to earn a spot in the national tournament. Hockey Canada this week unveiled hosts for a trio of events set to return in 2022, including the Junior ‘A’ Centennial Cup to take place in Estevan, Saskatchewan.
