Once implemented, RTO office of their choice to avail a driving licence. This apart, all RTO offices in the City may soon become paperless. Citizens will be required to submit both physical and online applications for RTO services, stated a recent advisory from the reforms commission. “Applicants should be given the option of going to any RTO office, as against the recent rule to register documents in sub-registrar offices. The e-office system should be used by all RTO and transport departments for better efficiency. An appropriate amendment might be proposed by the Transport Commissioner to the Karnataka Motor Vehicle Act to pass the amendment,” it added.
