Highlights The Rafale fighter jets are capable of carrying a range of potent weapons. The IAF is also procuring a new generation medium-range modular air-to-ground weapon system Hammer to integrate with the Rafale jets. In a further boost to the strike capability of the Indian Air Force, the third batch of three Rafale fighter jets landed at an IAF base in India from France after a non-stop flight. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the IAF tweeted that the aircraft flew over 7000 km with in-flight refuelling. The aircraft got airborne earlier in the day from Istres Air Base in France and the tanker support was provided by the UAE Air Force.
