After swapping hands several times, the car's current owner had the car meticulously restored back to its original 2004 Rally Japan specification by Prodrive's Legends Department in 2019. The body was stripped to its bare shell, the fuel tank, brake discs, and brake pads, were replaced, and the car was repainted by the same company that painted the car in 2004 to recreate the original livery. Prodrive rebuilt the S10 to match the exact specification as the car Petter drove to victory in the 2004 Rally Japan, retaining his preferred suspension setup and seat and pedal box position. The attention to detail in the restoration is remarkable: even the water bottle mount is period-correct. This is the only Impreza that has been restored by Prodrive Legends so far. Silverstone Auctions will be selling Solberg's Subaru Impreza S10 on May 28 and is expected to fetch between £385,000 ($543,286) and £450,000 ($635,220).
