Thieves steal dog from owner's home POLICE have issued an appeal to find a missing King Charles Spaniel after she was stolen from her owner's home in Newton-le-Willows. The three-year-old dog, named Portia, was taken from the back garden of a property on Vista Road on Saturday, April 24 between noon and 2.20pm. She's ruby red in colour and was wearing a pink collar and ID tag. She is also microchipped. CCTV enquiries have been carried out in the local area.
