Having a father figure in your life—whether it be the one who helped raise you in childhood or helped shape you later on in life—is something to be grateful for and to celebrate. Just because he wasn’t the one tasked with diaper changes or doctor visits, doesn’t mean the love for the important dad in your life doesn’t run deep. Here’s to the men who helped make us who we are and who have been there for us when we needed them most. There may not be a special day on the calendar that celebrates them, but these father figures helped make us who we are and are our dads no matter how you choose to define it.
