The highly anticipated historical drama Killers of the Flower Moon opens in theaters across Canada this weekend. The Martin Scorsese film, which is already getting Oscar buzz, details a series of murders of Indigenous people from the Osage Indian Reservation for their oil wealth in the early 20th century. Author David Grann wrote the book that inspired the film. Osage Nation Principal Chief Geoffrey Standing Bear consulted on the adaptation.
