Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars will return in 2021 with a new format. The 12th annual charity event, in which area residents team up with professional dancers, will be held virtually in 2021, according to a news release. The move to a virtual format is a safety measure amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is still in the planning stages, said Committee Chairman Joe Hertzler. “In years past, we have been limited to around 700 people, but this year we can open up the show to viewers around the world,” Hertzler said. “While we expect most viewers will be from Williamsburg, we’re excited about the opportunity to have a larger audience.”
