Sometimes it is helpful to step into someone else's shoes to see their perspective. We did a little bit of that but we started with Carmen telling us how her shoe guy reminded her of the assignment for the Accidental Book Club with Live No Lies by John Mark Comer. Bill gave us the perspective of Chinese Christians who are in the midst of hard times, but we were also reminded that revival comes from hard times. Losing a sibling at an early age is unimaginable. Unfortunately, that happened to Anne Wilson but it led to her inspiration for the award winning song, My Jesus. And she also gave some TikTok advice for the single women as well. A shift in perspective could be due to a placebo or as Dave tells us a nocebo. And when you put those running shoes on and another accessory you might be putting the nocebo effect into play. Tom Brady has put his cleats back on and is getting back into form with offseason workouts. For those getting ready to walk across the stage for graduation, it is an exciting time. For parents, it means they are stepping closer into an empty nest season, which Bill and his wife will be experiencing for the first time ever after moving their son today. All that talk of graduation had Dave thinking back to his own experience in high school and some of the not-so-great fashion choices he made. Bill is giving us words all related to motherhood for his BIG Words this week.
