An advisory councillor form Nabilo in Dreketi, Vanua Levu, is urging people to help each other as the recovery process begins in Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasa affected areas.
Ashika Devi said her family had taken refuge at the Fiji Rice mill property and were shocked to find their home destroyed the next day. “I never thought I would live in a shed,” she said.
“I thought I had a peaceful life, had a house and would enjoy my life with my family.
