Thane cops bust fake currency note racket; Rs 8 crore seized

The cops had received a tip-off about the same and accordingly, they formed a group under the guidance of a senior police officer and conducted a search of a godown at Gaimukh Chowpatty at 10.40 pm on Friday where they found counterfeit currency.
