The Tata Safari takes on rivals like MG Hector Plus, Jeep Compass, Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra XUV500 and the likes of those in the Indian market. The new Tata Safari starts at Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 21.25 lakh. The Tata Safari will be available in 6 variants – XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+. The automaker is also offering a Tata Safari Adventure Edition which offers a few more detailing on the exterior as well as on the interior. The Adventure edition ranges between Rs 20.20 lakh - Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom). For reference, Tata Safari's closest rival, the MG Hector Plus ranges between Rs 13.34 lakh - Rs 19.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
