The Tampa Bay Lightning have placed forward Josh Archibald on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract, general manager Julien Brisebois announced on Saturday. The Lightning also announced the signing of forward Tyler Motte to a one-year, $800,000 contract.
