STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The nonprofit organization Michael’s Cause, which raises awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and directs funding to research for better treatments and a cure for the disease, received a very special donation during the Christmas season.
Although a modest amount, the $400 donation comes straight from the heart of the fourth grade students of PS 36, Annadale, who could not exchange holiday gifts because of COVID-19 restrictions.
