Suspected hand grenade destroyed in controlled explosion By Mary Milton, Monday May 10, 2021 A suspected hand grenade has been destroyed by a bomb disposal team. A loud bang could be heard as the device was destroyed in a controlled explosion. Independent journalism is needed now more than ever. “We had a knock on the door about 6pm,” she told Bristol24/7. “[We] had to evacuate whilst they waited for bomb logistics to arrive.
