Suspect in alleged November 2019 church threat avoids prison

A 32-year-old Fremont man who was arrested after he allegedly showed up at a local church armed with a knife reportedly wanting to harm a woman inside the house of worship has avoided prison and was sentenced to a total of 60 months of intensive supervised probation after he had seven of his nine original charges from two different incidents dismissed.
