Supreme Court judge, Justice P S Narasimha, expressed his displeasure at being repeatedly addressed as "My Lord" and "Your Lordships" by lawyers during judicial proceedings. During a regular court matter, he suggested that lawyers use "Sir" instead and even offered to give them half of his salary if they stopped using those honorifics.
