Supreme Court slaps ₹1 lakh cost on lawyer for filing

Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha in March last year after he was convicted by a Surat court for defamation. The conviction was later stayed by the Supreme Court, leading to his reinstatement to the Lok Sabha.
