SunStone’s next-gen expedition ships wrap up sea trials February 15, 2021, by Naida Hakirevic Two next-generation Infinity-class vessels being built for SunStone Ships by China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) have successfully completed sea trials, the Florida-based company said. On 22 January 2021, the sea trials began for Ocean Victory and Ocean Explorer, the third and the fourth Infinity-class units. They consisted of five days of intense testing of each vessel’s system while underway in the South China Sea.
